Robert came through when a last minute project (refinishing/​painting a built-​in entertainment unit) became too burdensome to finish. I needed it done asap before listing a home to sell– he was able to find a time to squeeze it in and help get the ent center painted. Communication was quick and easy and he arrived when he said he would. Would definitely recommend his services.

Robert Thompson Sr. was able to get the house we just purchased into order. This guy is amazing! He fixed some jacked up wiring in our family room where we were not able to get any electricity. He also did other work around the house, fixing up all kinds of safety hazards. I am so very thankful! I also had the pleasure of meeting his beautiful wife and daughters. I cannot recommend Robert enough. He is reliable, honest, and friendly– and I hope to see him again outside of work because he is just a great person all around. I am definitely inviting him to the house warming once we get settled. He will definitely be our family go to handyman guy!

Robert is prompt quick and does outstanding carpentry. I painted my kitchen and planned to install hardware totally made a mess screws were study in the drawers multiple holes. Within a couple hours, I got a response from Robert, and the job was done in less than 30 minutes all bathrooms and kitchen had handled and pulls and it looks great. So happy! Thanks Robert.

Robert made me a custom pedestal for my washer dryer and it came out beautifully done. He is very efficient, professional, and hardworking. Robert can custom make anything for you! He is also very receptive to your ideas and needs and makes sure you are very happy with your product.

Absolutely awesome. Had a situation on a Friday night where our metal screen door was not opening. The landlord had recently changed the locks, and a metal screw had popped out, not allowing us to open the door at all. Long story short, my roommate was stuck inside the apartment while I was stuck outside. Didn’t think anyone would be able to help with it being later on a Friday night. Yet, like a gallant knight in shining armor, EcoPeak came through and was able to get the door open in minutes. He even gave me a great discount. Bottom line: I will absolutely be contacting these guys if I ever need handyman help again.

I can only say that Robert was spectacular. He came over today to fix our closet where the inside had totally fallen apart and fixed it perfectly. This is truly a Unilocal find that I will definitely call again and highly recommend.

IF I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!! These guys were beyond fantastic. I called everyone who received 4 stars or better on Unilocal.I left messages for all of them except EcoPeak. They, Robert, answered the phone when I called (no other handyman folks did, nor did they return my messages), they gave me a quick response date, and they were extremely fair both on price and work requested. I originally only needed my dishwasher re-​anchored. Robert told me they charge a price per hour and that what I was requesting only took 15 minutes so he hoped I had a few other jobs too. I would have gladly paid their fee just for the dishwasher but I found two other small jobs. They were done with all three projects in less than an hour, explained everything, were very nice and clean, and I was comfortable having them in my home.
IF you are looking for a handyman, call them!!! Hire these guys, you will not regret it. So thrilled that I have found some respectful and reasonable professionals!

Someone has been stealing my mail, and I thought moving my mailbox from the front gate to the front door would help prevent theft. Robert responded to my ad quickly (with the best quote) and within hours I had a more secure mailbox close to my front door. I am very grateful for his timely help.

I am a college student in PB area and needed my bed frame fixed as well as an ikea dresser to be assembled. Robert came over the very next day and was extremely helpful, very efficient, and I would highly recommend his service! Very nice guy, great pricing, and awesome work.

So pleased with the job Rob did on our garage. We had hired a handyman to set up wires and install a TV. What a nightmare that was! After losing a bunch of money on our previous Handy Man, we hired Rob to finish the job. He was able to come out the next day and talk about a perfectionist. We were so thrilled with the outcome and look forward to having him come out for more work around the house. A possible complete renovation for one of our rentals as well. After an anxious morning of handyman searching, my worries stopped shortly after my call with Robert. He offered me the best price around and the quality of his work was amazing. I needed some drywall work done ASAP, and Robert came as soon as comfortably possible.

Robert has been a great find. He has helped me with everything from restoring my built-​in hutch, to replacing all the trim in my home, to installing security cameras and rebuilding my under kitchen sink area! He’s very honest and trustworthy, likable too!

Robert was a great find on Unilocal.He came to fix our old caulking/​grout for the kitchen countertop. He was professional and responsive on the call, came by that same day and did the job for the original cost of the estimate and in quick time. He was knowledgeable, reasonably priced and very easy to work with — explaining his approach and working in a clean and detailed manner. Another plus was that he is reachable by text — I sent him a few photos of the countertop and he responded right away. He also pointed out a potential issue where the island wasn’t braced properly and was able to address it right there. I can’t believe how long I waited dreading finding a person who could fix my project and it turned out to be so easy, thanks to Robert!

I’m so glad that I found Robert to solve multiple problems with the original windows in my 1923 San Diego home. He is such a professional: knowledgeable, competent, and reliable,. He is also exceptionally pleasant to work with: polite, friendly, honest, and neat. And his prices for high quality, specialized work are fair.
Robert converted windows that only partially worked in one direction into fully functioning double-​hung windows. He repaired, replaced, and in a few cases newly installed hardware (including internal ropes, weights, etc.); recommended and installed security locks; replaced glass that did not match the existing blown glass panes with float glass (to preserve historic appearance); sanded responsibly (to avoid asbestos contamination); etc. Robert demonstrated thorough knowledge of vintage window construction. He also worked independently, carefully, and patiently. This was labor intensive but also delicate, difficult work (completed during some of the hottest days of summer). I was very impressed with how Robert took the entire project on.
There are over thirty windows in my house, so this was a major project that, because of the need to purchase materials, extended over several weeks. I completely trusted Robert with a key to my house, and he communicated with me very fully and promptly regarding the work schedule. Robert transformed my windows, solving a big problem and making my house more attractive and livable.
I recommend Robert highly and hope & expect to be able to hire him in the future for help with other house projects.

Robert has restored my faith in contractors. He is precise, extremely professional, and delivers as promised on time and on budget. Whatsmore, he also goes the extra mile. I called him on a Friday morning with a request for an urgent job to be completed by Sunday afternoon. He was at my property within the hour and literally had his team work day and night to get my job completed.
