Jayson and his team are one of the most professional real estate agencies I have had the pleasure of working with. My escrows with them close on time large in part to how organized they are and the care given by them. always putting the client first is key!

I am an investment property owner. Yuri at GoldenWest has always kept me informed on the status of my rental, I receive prompt emails on details of my tenants. Through the 3 years they have managed my Del Mar property they have always found a new qualified tenant in a timely manner, there was no vacancy during the transition. GoldenWest really does a fantastic job in property management.

GoldenWest Management was a huge help! Thanks to Yuri and the team’s ability to swiftly rent my condo they procured 2 sets of tenants within a week of listing the property on the market. GWM provided accurate comps, and pricing, had great flexibility when last minute changes arose. Everyone was super professional and made my life so much easier! I would definitely recommend them.

Thanks to Yuri’s quick response to our tenants 1÷15÷2016 repair request. A licensed plumber was dispatched within an hour to stop a leak on the first floor ceiling that stemmed from an issue on the second floor. Within 3hrs everything was fixed! The simple fact that GoldenWest made my property a priority really validated that I picked the best property management company in the state!

I contacted GoldenWest Management San Diego regarding a few questions I needed to be answered regarding my investment property. Yuri was extremely helpful and made everything easier for me to understand. I’m blown away by her and the GoldenWest team’s performance, I would definitely recommend their business to anyone looking for property management !

This place is terrible, renter beware. Be sure to document everything before moving in because they will charge you for every little thing when you move out if you don’t.
We got charged $ 200 for carpet cleaning even though the carpets were filthy when we moved in and $ 150 for some other maintenance that wasn’t explained.
This company is incredibly unprofessional at best and even borderline criminal at worst. I chose not to contest the charges because the monetary damage weren’t worth the time and headache involved. My advice to everyone that chooses to rent or have their place rented here: don’t. They are not on top of their game at all, especially owner/​broker Jayson Yoss.

RUN don’t walk away from any property managed by Jayson Yoss and his company Golden West Management. Dealing with him goes on the LIFE IS TOO SHORT list. As you can see from the GENUINE reviews on this site and others, ripping off tenants is business as usual. We are renting a high-​end property in La Jolla. I had such an upsetting experience with Jayson the day before our lease started that my husband and I very seriously considered walking away and potentially losing our $ 7K deposit. Ask yourself, how bad would an experience have to be to sincerely risk losing $ 7K! My husband was shocked at my response and thought I was tired and irrational until he went online and read literally dozens of reviews that echo my experience exactly. Here are a few examples: He agreed to have the house and windows professionally cleaned before move in and did not. The housecleaner he hired told me he instructed her to only clean the bathrooms and wipe the walls. He charged us a $ 200 administration fee he will not qualify. After he had our deposit and the move was scheduled, he had us sign a contract that requires us to pay $ 60 of every repair needed. He prorated a full days rent but would not give us the keys until 12:00P and made us drive to his office 30 minutes away to pick up the keys. He refused multiple requests to do a walk through the house before we moved in. When I told him I stopped by the property and the back door was open so I walked through quickly and the house and garage were filthy, he threatened to charge us with trespassing and charge an additional day of rent. He continued with a torrent of bizarre insults like «I know what kind of people you are! You want this to get ugly? Fine!» and «Are you trying to tell me how to do my job? I’ve been doing this 15 years!» When I pointed out we are also landlords and are only asking for the house to be cleaned, he replied, «Ha! You have two piddly properties! I manage properties that rent for $ 15K a month.» — I am a successful entertainment professional with a VERY thick skin. His comments did not hurt my feelings. I was upset because my home — even a rental — is my sanctuary and we take exceptional care of any place we live. I simply did not want this kind of person in my life and associated with our home. Hopefully, this review will save someone else the time-​consuming nuisance and headache of dealing with this company. In my opinion, no property is worth having to do business with Jayson and his company.

What a horrible experience! Check the Las Vegas reviews for this company to see how they did business over there. It is no different in San Diego. Beware on both the management and tenant side with this company. As an owner you will not get proper communication and your tenants will be treated unfairly. As a tenant you will be unfairly charged for repairs. If you question them, they won’t respond to you. We were given notice to leave for asking for items to be fixed on an almost 3000 a month rental. The homeowner wasn’t even aware. We were then extended a new lease. The homeowner said the rent would go up 100 bucks, when we got it from Goldenwest it was 200! When going to sign it, it was retracted again. I had mentioned we may buy and I was told (blackmailed) by Jayson Yoss if I bought a property with them, he could probably extend the lease for us. We fought to get out deposit back after leaving the unit immaculate. It was past the legal 21 days and the deductions were unfair. 100 buck deduction for a key, with no receipt to justify that. Again, don’t ask questions. All communication will be cut off. When trying to call Goldenwest I was told Jayson was in court all day. No surprise there!!! I only write 100% honest reviews to help the public. DO NOT USE GOLDENWEST!!!

Honestly I would give no stars if possible. This company, specifically Jayson Yoss is condescending and insulting. He completely lied to me and mislead me. He falsely charged me for repairs that were never done, you’ll have to fight to get your security deposit back when there’s absolutely no reason. I would not trust him to manage my property and I would never rent a home through him. He is dishonest, and represents every horrible stereotypical horror story you’ve heard about renting. Renter beware!!!

It was such a pleasure working with Goldenwest Management and Jayson on our last transaction. We were a vendor on one of their real estate transactions and the Goldenwest team was responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, but above all oozing with professionalism. The interaction with Jayson and his staff was seamless. I caught myself smiling on the way home tonight thinking about how much I love my job and this was due to how great this company is to work with.
I highly recommend Goldenwest, without reservation.

When the house I was originally interested in turned out to be unavailable, Sarah promptly provided me with many other options that were exactly what I had been looking for in a new home.
