JB Windows and Doors

These guys are very good. Reasonable price, quality product and good service. They called back quickly after each message and were timely for all appointments. Josh and Brad have installed 9 windows for me over the last year and I expect to be using them for my remaining windows over the next couple years. I can’t think of any downside to the entire experience.

Josh and his team do great work and use very nice quality windows. They put in 3 10 ft sliders for me a few years ago and I have not had any issues with them. Josh has great prices and great service, you can’t lose!

We had Josh installed windows and patio doors on our duplex. They looked great. I got 3 quotes and JB Windows was on the lower end. It took a couple weeks for the windows to come in but once they did, the JB Windows crew got them installed right away. I recommended them to my relative and they were happy with their windows too. I feel comforted that they have a 10 year warranty on their labor and the windows have lifetime warranty.

So glad we found Josh and JB Windows and Doors! I called him and he immediately informed me of a grant to help pay for my door installation (I live in Alpine). We were unaware of this grant, and even though we missed it for this year — we will definitely take advantage of it next year! Josh is extremely knowledgeable and has great ideas! We are currently looking for a new entry door and are excited about working with him. He definitely knows what he’s doing!

What an UNPROFESSIONAL person to deal with! I called Josh to make an appointment for an estimate on a project. I texted to confirm the next day and he did not even remember our conversation from the night before. We finally got him to come out and provide us with an estimate. However, numerous calls and texts went unanswered after he agreed to take on the work. This person does not have the decency or respect to respond or follow up with his customers. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone.

I had Josh replace the windows in my home and am extremely satisfied. He and his crew were in and out of my place in one day and his pricing was perfect! He was very accommodating and helpful. He explained all of the advantages to using the style of windows he recommended. He was on time and very clean. I can say that my house is more comfortable and safe since he installed the windows.
I recommend JB Windows to all my friends and you should give them a call if you are looking for windows or doors for your home.

Tried multiple times to get an estimate. He answered promptly and said he would come out to measure. He never showed up to our knowledge. Made another called, answered, apologized and said he was busy but he would be out and to text him our address. Did as instructed and never heard back again. Leaves you to wonder… I would rather a business just tell you they are too busy or your job is too small than leave you hanging. So frustrating. I’m not going to hound someone just because they have a decent price.

Josh and Brad from JB Windows and Doors came out and replaced all the windows in our home and did a terrific job. The price was very competitive and the installation was excellent. We recommend them highly.

If you are serious about replacing the windows at home this is not the company for you. I called Josh this morning to schedule an appointment to get an estimate for my windows to be replaced. He answered right away. I tried to schedule an appointment for 4. He said the last appointment time he had available today was 3. We scheduled the appointment at 3. He asked to text him my address which I did and he never responded to the text no big deal. But he never showed up to the appointment not at 3 or 3:30 or even 4! No call was made either to try to reschedule or say he’s running late. What a waste of my minutes and time. What an unprofessional company. I would strongly suggest you consider other companies. I know I did. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Okay, so it was not easy to get a hold of Josh. And once I did it took a while to get Josh to come get an estimate. And then once I did get my new door in from Dixieline, I had to stalk him AGAIN to get my installation scheduled.
HOWEVER, here’s why he’s great:
* He hooked me up with Lee at Dixieline (La Mesa) who was awesome — he helped me find a door I loved for a great price
* He did a fab job installing our door
* His price was super reasonable!
He’s hard to get a hold of because he’s so busy, and he’s so busy because he does a good job and charges a reasonable rate. So he’s worth the wait! Thanks again, JB Doors!

I have been a homebuilder and developer for over ten years and I have never been as impressed with a contractor as I was with Josh at JB Windows. They were fast, their work was excellent and their answer to all my questions were yes, that’s included. They are a one stop shop and I could not imagine anyone getting windows anywhere else and being happier with the price or service.

We recently purchased a ’70’s era home and were looking for a quality door/​window company. Based on the online reviews we went with Josh and JB Windows & Doors. They just completed a brand new double front entry door replacement and the install was perfect. We will definitely use them to upgrade our windows later this year. Thanks Josh!

Overall we are satisfied with our windows and slider, with 2 caveats. First, after the installation our blinds were still on the floor so I asked Josh if he was going to put them back up. He said we wouldn’t be able to use them with our new windows. In our case this wasn’t a huge deal; the blinds were old and not that great but it would have been nice to know ahead of time we were going to need new window coverings! Second, after they left I noticed 2 small holes in 1 screen in our bedroom. They could have been easily missed but we didn’t put them there; we hadn’t even moved in yet. I contacted Josh and he keeps saying he’ll take care of it, but it’s been 6 months now. I gave him some leeway because we are farther away in Oceanside but I think it’s been long enough. So if you do decide to go with this company, definitely ask about your window coverings and be sure to check all your screens before they leave!

Phenomenal service!
We called several places and found Jb to have the best customer service and the best prices.
We wanted a new sliding window to lead into the backyard. We ended up with new sliding mirror closets, a security pad door (keyless entry) and the sliding door.
The estimate was free, the work was pristine, and even though we kept changing our minds and adding new projects it did not once hinder their service.

I am so happy that we found Josh and Brad for the installation of 15 windows and 3 sliders in our house. We had two other estimates and they were outrageous. Josh came in and gave us an amazing price and the windows look amazing. I would definitely recommend using them!

We just had all of our windows and our patio door replaced by JB Windows and Doors (4 windows and a Patio sliding door) and they look AMAZING! This company was very courteous, professional and efficient when installing the windows. They installed them with ease, taking up little time in our day. They did a great job at cleaning up after themselves! The installation sites are FLAWLESS! The crew did an amazing job, and we will DEFINITELY be referring them to all of our friends and family! Josh and Brad replaced 13 windows and 1 sliding glass door at our home last week and I can not even begin to tell you how happy we were with their quality of work and professionalism. They gave us a fair price, they installed all our windows and got rid of the old ones within a matter of 6 hours and left our house clean as if they handn’t even been there. We are definately going to recommend them to all of our friends and family. We could not be happier. In fact after they were all done, we asked them to give us a quote on replacing our doors because we knew that they were detail orientated and would do an exceptional job. If you need windows or doors replaced then these are your guys. Thanks for a wonderful job at our new home!

Josh and his crew replaced our old wood and aluminum windows with new dual pane low e-​windows. Great job, even customized the our 8′ slider with a doggy door in it. The price, service and install was great.

Josh and Brad replaced my sliding patio door today. First of all, I couldn’t be happier with the door itself. I ordered a sound-​proof one as I basically live on the freeway, and even being super heavy and thick it slides effortlessly and you would never know it weighs several hundred pounds. They did an amazing job with everything… the door/​wall transition looks beautiful. Very obvious that these guys are very detail oriented. I’m really picky about the work I’m doing on my house, and I have absolutely nothing I would even think could be improved on. The door clearly improved the noise, too.
Secondly… the price. The door I needed is quite a bit wider than the average, and I wanted sound-​proof super thick glass. What they charged me for this special order door + installation was 40% less than what two big name brand stores quoted me for just a standard door to my dimensions (no sound proofing, worse quality lock handle) without even including their additional price for installation (would have been another half a grand).
I have been planning to change out my windows in the future (5 windows). After what I saw today, I had them measure all the windows when they were done with the door and am ready to order as soon as the quote comes in.
I would recommend them to anyone, friends and family, and will be asking for their services again for the windows ASAP. Definitely as good as it gets.
I will add comments about the windows when those are done too.

Josh and his crew recently replaced my old wood windows with new Vinyl windows. When I first contacted him, I had only planned on replaciing the front 5 windows of my home (due to the cost). After we met my Wife and I realized we could have them do our WHOLE home for what we thought 5 windows would cost. I am 100% pleased with the job that was done and would reccomend him to anyone looking for Windows or Doors. Josh is one of the good guys. He answers his calls (9pm on a weekday), and shows up exactly when he says he will. His prices, service, and work can not be beat by anyone.
