Juke is currently on a hiatus, pending the approval of their liquor license and completion of Bottlecraft’s tasting room. They’re supposed to be back at the end of summer. Hope they’re back up and running soon!

Probably one of the best sandwiches we’ve had in San Diego. The pork belly torta is delicious! We love that it is perfectly balanced with a strong acidic slaw to balance the richness of the pork. The ratio of bread to filling was just right and our only complaint was that we wished there was more when we finished! We also had the duck confit which was salty and yummy, a perfect compliment to the citrusy salad greens it comes with. We will be coming by again!

There’s not enough good to say about the food that this tiny kitchen manages to turn out of this already mind-blowing bottle shop. Every dish I’ve had has been better than the last. Their duck dish(menu changes often) is reliably impressive(and only $ 12?!?). Hubs says he would do naughty things to their carnitas. Their soup of the day is amazing. Every time. The chef is very helpful and friendly. Always happy to discuss the dishes. No one seems to think very much of this little shop as they walk by, shunning the tiny kitchen without a restaurant. It is easily the best meal on University for at least a few blocks. Also, I’m physically kicking myself for this review. I want to keep Juke for my very own.

OMG! I am so glad this place is walking distance from my place. Everything I’ve tried here has been amazing. The brisket is delicious, the eggrolls, the bimbap, I can go on and on. The prices are a little on the high side but the food is quality. The staff is always friends and how convenient it’s inside bottle craft so I can grab a craft beer on my way out.

Close to a 3-star but not. My buddy Johnny describes it as «Expensively s***ty… come on now.» I don’t know if I feel that strongly but certainly not happy. The meatloaf burger which wasn’t on the menu was the best thing. It was good. The people who ordered after us both got it. They knew. The duck is alright. I am a huge duck fan. Nothing special but not bad. The brisket hash was meh. The brisket I think was marinated in red wine which gave it a sourness that didn’t work with the dish. Its also not really a hash, basically papas bravas with brisket and an egg. The biscuits and gravy were just horrible. I love mushrooms but these tasted off. The biscuit was very overcooked. The avocado toast is a straight scam. A couple thin slices of avo with a tasteless sauce on soft baguette does not make avocado toast. The papas bravas were also alright. Nothing special… not bad. The people were all super nice… feel bad leaving it but I believe in the system.

MMMMMMMmmmmm… This place is great, as long as you know what you are getting. Read below. 1. No alcohol is served, but delicious non alcoholic drinks are served(chilled ginger beer slushie? awesome!) 2. The kitchen is in the back of a beer shop. Limited seating, and it can be kind of awkward since people are coming in and out buying beer and sometimes you are the only one eating there. 3. Entrees range from $ 10 – 14, sides are $ 4, appetizers $ 6 – 8. Expensive? Um, no. Not expensive. Especially because the portions are large and the food is delicious. If this were a regular restaurant, the food would be in the $ 30’s. So, for a North Park local, this place is an awesome TAKE-OUT option and probably my new go-to. Recommendations: Duck, brisket entrée, and pork belly sandwich.

I read about this place opening a while ago and convinced my friends to grab dinner there before we saw Cats at the North Park Theater a block or two down the street. We needed something quick and we wanted something delicious. That is exactly what we found here. I got the cauliflower steak which came with a curry quinoa, some greens, little apple cubes and nuts. One of my friends got the same thing. We both loved it. My other friend got a salad with the duck confit, but she got a different salad than the one the duck order was originally supposed to come with. I tried it and oh man it was also delicious. We sat at the outside table in the front of the store and people watched the people watching us eating our awesome food. Not much seating is available, but we had no trouble. Odd to mention but their cutlery is also adorable and their water was delightfully infused.

For anyone who has enjoyed MIHO Gastrotruck in the past, this place is for you! Juke is located inside Bottlecraft at University and 30th in North Park, which is a huge plus if you would like a drink with your meal. The menu is slightly different than the Gastrotruck in that it focuses more on plated fare and less on sandwiches. There are also small plate options, which are nice if you want a smaller portion or to try a couple of different dishes. We ordered lamb meatballs with greens and garlic bread — DELICIOUS! The sauce complimented the lamb well and the garlic bread is crazy good. I thought it was a very hearty portion. We also ordered the grits with brisket — this is true comfort food. We also could not resist an order of Papas Bravas — again, amazing, roasted and fried with plenty of spice and a touch of sauce/herbs to finish(I think I could eat these every day). My partner also tried the agua fresca. While too sweet for me, he enjoyed it. To finish we indulged in the flourless chocolate cake, which was good but I probably wouldn’t order it again. As to be expected with food of excellent quality, it can be a bit pricey — but don’t let that deter you, it’s well worth the expense. I’ve also heard they have a Sunday brunch with biscuits being a highlight, with gravy or jam. Guess I’ll have to go back soon to check that out :) There is limited indoor and outdoor seating, but we had no trouble finding a spot. All in all, I highly recommend this MIHO outpost. I will be a return customer

Situated inside the bottle craft by 30th and University, Miho is a tiny and surprising treat for someone looking for a down to earth eating experience. The hash is delicious and the pour over was high quality. Would go again. Do note, it’s a little pricey for what you get

Great quick meal. Ideal for take-out since you can grab some beers or a bottle of wine to go along. The menu is unique and the quality produced from the super small kitchen is excellent. Good variety if you are feeding carnivores and vegetarians alike. Can’t wait to try the«soda» machine next time.

Bad ass people, bad ass menu, bad ass beer from the connected bottlecraft store. Guess that would make this place pretty bad ass. If this isnt north parks new hot spot to eat at then people must be lost. This place should get some hype. I had the crispy duck dish and it was on point. Glad to have spent money on a meal here and find a new place by my house to come grub at! Props!

YUM! Stopped in to Bottlecraft to pick up some beers for the evening and couldn’t deny the delicious smell of gourmet grub in the back. I perused the menu and went with a tofu dish with picked veg, a pickled egg, black rice, poached greens and flavor to the MAX! So glad I checked it out. The price seemed high at $ 10 for tofu and rice… but when I got home and sat down to eat it, it was a monstrous amount of food with so many combinations of flavors that just wowed me with every bite. Can’t wait to try out more of their menu items. For the portion, the flavor, and convenience… this place is the tops in my book. Oh, and they were super friendly too… added bonus these days.

I am going to sound like a total a**hole — and I know you are not shocked — but dammit, this place is what I hoped Waypoint would be. OK, different concept somewhat, but if this tiny kitchen can pump out such overwhelming awesomeness, then why can’t others? but hey, at least I have this — and as you can tell, huge fan. the right mix of fresh, spicy, substance — in perfect portions and price points. OK, you can’t yet enjoy the food with a pint of your favorite craft perfection — which sometimes is a dealbreaker, I get it. but the food here is so damn good, you can wait for your next pour just a few minutes

If you love quality, creative, inexpensive food, well this is your huckleberry. It’s no carnitas snack shack but its giving them a run for their money. CNS is across from a collective. Juke/miho is in a craft beer specialty store. Kudos to both. Get the crispy duck confit salad($ 12).It has pickled mustard seeds, kumquat, lentils, and the crispy duck is incredible and amazing on its own. I enjoyed it all. I liked the brisket hash, but I doubt I will order it again. The chiliquilles is my next victim The ginger lemonade was kinda gross, but the strawberry blood orange one was aight, slightly heavy. $ 3.50 each is a bit pricey for a small cup. Overall awesome menu with quality ingredients and helpful great staff, 4.5. I’m hooked.

MIHO’s Gastro Truck had created a small new eatery nestled inside the Bottlecraft Beer Shop in the heart of North Park, and let me tell you, what a great eatery it is! I came in to try their Sunday brunch, and right away I was impressed with their mêlée of offerings( ). After a few minutes pouring it over and talking to the lady working the front, I settled for the Brisket Hash with baby fingerling’s topped with a pouched egg( ). I also ordered a side of their biscuits with their house made jam.( ) The brisket hash was a delight to eat. I was very surprise how light the brisket felt and tasted, probably because it was very well prepared and rendered down to the point, it could not be made any more tender. The brisket had a deep rich color, flavor, and was aggressively seasoned( ). The poached egg a top was perfectly poached and when I broke it, the yolk came beautifully cascading down the side of the brisket.( ) The fingerling’s were a perfect tender. I mean a little less, they would been still hard, and a little more, to soft, but they were just a perfect al dente and well seasoned.( ) As a whole, the dish worked very well together. It may of looked hearty and heavy, but that was not the case, it was a lot lighter than I expected, not to mention very delicious. The biscuits arrived a perfect golden brown( ), and had great buttery soft texture inside( ). I enjoyed these very much, and they were a knock out of the park when I applied the jam the created.( ) The jam was slightly sweet and had just enough tartness to awaken the taste bud. I must try when you come for brunch. At the end of my meal, I was treated to a wonderful slice of grapefruit cake and Pour over coffee( ). The cake had a mildly seductive frosting on top, that melted in the mouth and released a burst of grapefruit flavor provided by the touch of grapefruit rind. If you look carefully, you can see the speckles of rind( ). The cake itself was very moist and mildly flavored and a great contrast to the frosting on top.( ) A well balanced slice of cake. The coffee was strong but it went down very smoothly. Juan did a great job making it, and he sure knows what he is doing. The staff was very friendly and a pleasure to talk with. it’s no doubt, Kevin and Juan and their staff have a winner here indeed.

What a fantastic find! Another recently open restaurant discovery… and I am definitely going back! It’s a hidden gem… located inside Bottlecraft in North Park… with a farm-to-table menu that will please any appetite! I tried the Biscuits and Gravy with Brisket. The biscuit was baked to perfection with a delicious mushroom gravy and tender beef brisket. The flavors meshed perfectly together. My friend ordered the cashew yogurt… and I had some food envy… for a lighter fare I will definitely want to get this dish… cashews into yogurt… what?! The also have limon ginger beer… tasty! though next time I want to get the strawberry soda! Service is great. You walk up to order then pay at the register. Then they bring out your food to you at the tables just outside Bottlecraft. Parking can be a challenge in North Park, so if you can walk there you will be golden.

Ommmggg sooooo delicious! My roommate and I split the beet salad, cauliflower steak, potato bravas and each had the strawberry blood orange frescas and chocolate brownies! Everything was amazing! We seriously didn’t leave any leftovers of anything and can’t wait to return!

Tucked in the back of Bottlecraft was lo and behold, Juke! Look out North Park restaurants, this tiny restaurant packs a punch. I’ve been a longtime fan of MIHO Foodtruck and was very excited to see them finally have a venue where I can have the luxury of celebrating their food 6 days a week! Went here for brunch and was blown away by their Brisket Hash. The meat was very tender, paired perfectly with the fingerling potatoes and a poached egg was perched on top. My cousin got the duck and I’m not a big fan of duck typically, but the skin was very crispy and the meat was soft. The food has obviously very high quality ingredients and I’m eager to try more dishes! Also, that fresca is damn good. A little carbonated, a little crisp and all sorts of good in the morning. They don’t serve alcohol, yet… but you are in a beer store… The only downside is really the size of the place, definitely tough for groups with the limited seating, but good if you have a +1. The food really speaks for itself and I highly recommend you give it a try!

This is the latest project from JUan MIron and KEvin HO(get it? Clever guys!) of MIHO aweseomeness. Solid fare in a fixed kitchen space tucked inside Bottlecraft. My friend and I savored the quietness of it all; once word gets out about this place, expect a perpetual line, possibly out the door. Order inside, pay, go sit outside on the communal benches along the busy intersection of 30th& University and people-watch. The waitress will bring food out to you. Sunday Brunch offers a subset of their menu. The rest of the menu looks impressive; worth at least 3 more trips to get a full sense of it all(octopus ceviche tostadas, duck confit, papas bravas, e.g.) ATE: Biscuits n gravy(with brisket added): The orig dish is veg, made with umami-rich mushrooms Grapefruit cake: a light yellow cake with a nice tangy frosting Tortilla(Spanish style): with a side of what must’ve been housemade sriracha style sauce. DRANK: Pour over from Coffee & Tea Collective A little pricey, but you get what you pay for! These guys source high quality fare and it shows up in the finished dishes. Consider me a regular!
