Waypoint Public is located in the heart of North Park, the hippest hip neighborhood in San Diego, CA. Waypoint offers 30-draft beers, over 100 rare bottles and serves dinner 7-days a week and brunch on the weekends.
History
Established in 2013.
Waypoint opened its doors in October 2013, and is owned and operated by a young duo of passionate hospitality professionals. The team is led by John Pani, a hospitality industry veteran, who has been involved in the creation, opening and management of numerous local hotels & restaurants. Waypoint’s praiseworthy beer program is managed by Brian Jensen, owner & operator of the nationally recognized Bottlecraft beer shops. The kitchen is led by All-Star Chef Rich Sweeney. Together, the team has catapulted Waypoint Public into the dining and drinking spotlight. Since opening its doors, Waypoint Public has received numerous awards and praises.
