History

Established in 2005.

The design firm was founded by Steven Kohn, Architect. Since 2005 the firm’s client list has consisted of shopping center owners (Including Fortune 500 REITS), developers, medical office owners, national corporate tenants, franchise owners, and small businesses. Projects have ranged from $ 200K T.I.s to $ 5M new construction, 800 SF to 70,000 SF.

Steven K.

Business Owner

Steven Kohn is a graduate of California Polytechnic, SLO Class of ’93, and was licensed in 1996. Steven apprenticed at Conwell-​Marshall Architects, Whitmore & Associates, and Tucker-​Sadler Architects. He was a senior architect for Higgins-​Graham, MCG, and Nadel Architects (’97-’04). Seven new shopping centers were designed and built in southern California under his direct management and supervision, including an upscale lifestyle center recently sold for over 70 million dollars. As the managing partner of Kohn Architects, Steven has been the architect of record for six new buildings, twenty-​five tenant improvements, and countless commercial remodels.
