Come here to buy drinks, protein shakes, scratchers and lottos! The people here working are pretty nice and they’ll remember you if you come back!

Great place to find a Micro brew in San Diego. Stumbled onto this place through a friend. The owner took care of me when I had some questions on suggestions. They have an awesome collection including Pliny the elder and said if I didn’t find what I was looking for, that he would add it to his next purchase order. Awesome guy!

Great selection of craft beer and wine. One of the Top spots to hit up in Mira Mesa for stocking up on local beers

This place has a great selection of imported and micro brew beers. I felt like trying some micro brew IPA’s the other day and was very satisfied with the selection at the Liquor Land store. They have beers that the regular grocery store just does not carry and I am glad they were able to satisfy my needs.

Probably the oldest liquor store in Mira Mesa(or at least, one of the oldest — between this and Plaza Wine and Spirits when it was located in the Mira Mesa Mall way back when)… for at least a year, they were closed down, but it looks like they’re under new management. The staff are cool, but for the most part, the prices are just… ehh. They do have a few deals here, but Plaza and even BevMo have better prices. Still, glad to see Liquor Land back in business, only for the nostalgia value!

Shocked when it closed it’s doors temporarily, now it’s re-opened and under new management. The Grand re-opening wasn’t so grand. Some items decently priced, a majority not so decent… i mean Rite Aid has better deals. I was kinda glad this place re-opened, cause this place is/was a Mira Mesa landmark. Well…hopefully after they realize what they need to do to keep customers coming back… things will get better for this place. Other than that… WELCOMEBACKLIQUORLAND

As amazing as it is, Liquor Land plays the part of neighborhood liquor store well. Stated previously, you need to provide identification, but that’s pretty much the law… nothing new. It was my 21st birthday, and consequently my first experience at Liquor Land(not that I have a punch card now or anything). At first, I was slightly taken aback by the high/er prices, at least in comparison to other«alcohol venues». However, all of that went by the wayside when I first, realized I was only 21, and second, observed the vast quantity and selection that Liquor Land graciously offers its patrons. INTERJECTION: Now that I think about it, don’t rush to Liquor Land expecting them to have that 1956 Bordeaux Château Labour or anything… but something mighty close. Lastly, the people behind the counter are what I like to call«semi-precious». Like semi-precious stones, they’re somewhat warm, but in the end, they’re still hard rocks. and kind of cold. But the place is called Liquor Land, not CandyLand. For serious.

I went to this store to buy some liquor for a friend’s birthday party. When I finished my order and brought it up to the counter, the guy asks to see my ID. I’m used to this because I look young, so I take out my out-of-state driver’s license and show him. He looks at both sides and asks for another form of identification. Unfortunately, at the time, I didn’t have anything. However one of my friends had come along with me and took out his(also out-of-state) driver’s license to show the guy. He looks at it and asks for another form of identification. My friend takes out his homeland security card and presents it to the guy. The guy says«I don’t want to get arrested,» and refuses to sell us the alcohol. Is this discrimination against the young and out-of-state? Or was it discrimination against non-white customers?(Both my friend and I are of non-white descent). In summary, I recommend you look at least 40, be white, and have an in-state form of identification if you wish to shop at Liquor Land.
