I used to use their services but they seemed in a hurry & sprayed oven cleaner on my new kitchen cabinets (which they did offer to compensate) but then they broke the crisper drawer in my refrigerator and never reported it until I found it broken and called them. I quit using them altogether. A few times they were late and I had to call and see if they were coming also.

Ruthe was what made this company work, and I almost stayed with it just because of her. But around 2013, the cleaning quality went so far downhill that we just couldn’t put up with it anymore, especially for the above-​average pricing. I’m sorry to say we left Maid Brigade and switched to another company two years ago.

I came home today expecting my house clean because a MAID BRIGADE team was scheduled to clean today. It was suppose to be a different team than the last two girls who smelled of strong cigarette smoke. I came home to find my house NOT vacuumed, NOT dusted, glass tables with water marks remaining, floors STICKY. I called and Randy is sending a team back to «touch up.» Chris and Randy are terrific on the phone and getting cleaning scheduled. At first we were satisfied. Today I cancelled service.

What a waste of my time and money!!,
I used Maid Bridgade out of Oceanside this week and it was a horrible experience. The job was cleaning an empty rental house, I gave specific instructions on what I wanted cleaned. I was told they were sending a crew of two, but they sent a crew of three, at 37.50 per person per hour.
Only one woman worked! The other two walked around, swiped at things here and there, and I had to go in and repeatedly ask them to clean this and that. I sat in my car as the other two talked in garage and once again I had to go in and ask them to get to work.
Nearly two hours later they said they were done and I went in, and just about nothing on the list was cleaned. So they started again, wiping the dirt off the grates, windowsills, cleaning the soot out the fireplace,
I asked one to sweep the stuff off the floor and she told me she didn’t use brooms or sweep they use a vacuum.
At this point I went in and placed several angry calls to the office, talking to Chris in the office, I told him to have Randy the owner call me. When I went to check the progress one of women had tracked mud on the carpet that I just had cleaned, I told her to leave the house, so when Randy called I shared my displeasure with him.
This was his response. «I’m sorry you aren’t happy but I don’t deal with you I will talk to their supervisor when they return»
The end charge for $ 222 for two hours, they took off 20 minutes. Yesterday I went back in and finished cleaning the stove, and wiping down the cobwebs and all the stuff they missed.
I WISH THERE WERE NO STARS HERE!
Here’s my recommendation, Call anyone else!!!

I used Maid Brigaide 3 times in the past and even wrote them into one of my lease agreements so that the landlord would use them for my move in clean. Well, when I called them because I needed another moveout cleaning I found out that the franchise was sold and had a new owner. He seemed nice on the phone and said that he had all my past information and I would get the same great service. Unfortunately this was NOT true. I was charge $ 60 more for a cleaning that was at least 30 minutes shorter than my other cleanings. When I questioned the final cost, I was told by the new owner that the old owner must have given me a special deal and that he would not honor that same pricing. This is TERRIBLE customer service!
I will NEVER use this company again and I recommend that you save yourself from being cheated and look for another company!!!

We used maid brigade until today, the first time they came, it was great and clean. It just went downhill after that.
They work fast but not well.
They damaged our walls, broke glasses and never reported.
I emailed the company asking them to call me on several occasion, they never called back.
I would never recommend them.

We used Maid Brigade for about a year. I really wanted a service versus an independent house cleaner for liability reasons and payment convenience. Unfortunately, we learned over time that the cleaning team was cutting as a many corners as possible. On multiple occasions we discovered that their cleaning crew «finished» cleaning our 2900 square ft home in under an hour with just 2 people. A closer inspection revealed lots of missed areas and a very superficial job at best.
Management claimed we were the only one who really had an issue with their staff, but Unilocal tells a different story!

I received a recommendation to Maid Brigade from a friend
On short notice, relatives called me announcing they were making an unplanned visit .eek ! I had no time to prep my house so I called MB
, MB were able to accommodate me and the next day two women arrived and made my house shine :)
The women were professional, very polite and made quick work of my house cleaning S.O.S— .
PS. how do they get windows and mirrors that clean and sparkling? lol
I was very pleased with the their work, the price and the great customer service from the office staff who made err maid it happen !
House cleaning by MAID BRIGADE was a gift I gave myself :). (wise choice) !! And consequently I was able to anticipate and enjoy the family visit .
I will use them again. hopefully with more prior notice.

Just used Maid Brigade out of the Mira Mesa area. The women did a wonderful job. Fast, efficient and friendly. It was nice to come home to a clean house. Will use them for a long time.
I like the fact that Maid Brigade is a green company. I didn’t have to worry about which products were used. It was safe for me, my family and pets.
The office staff was very helpful in setting up my schedule. Even called to inform me they were on schedule.

Horrible. I have no idea how they stay in business. When i saw my house, I thought I was on punked or something! I clean my house better every night before I go to bed than Maid Brigade. They have some no move policy… Where they don’t move anything in your house, they only clean around it. They also don’t use chemicals so you are left with water marks on all the windows. I felt like I had been scammed. Save the time and frustration and call anyone else.

I made an appoint for Maid Brigade to come out and clean my rental that went vacant. They called me the morning of the appointment to cancel! This left me in a serious bind since I had new tenants moving in the next morning. Thnks for nothing Maid Brigade!

Extreme dissatisfaction can be the only way to describe my feelings towards Maid Brigade’s service. We had their crew clean our newly purchased home that was completely empty and truly not all that dirty due to a caring tenant that had lived in the house previously. All we needed were the cabinets to be wiped down, sinks, tub, floor, etc.
After their crew left, with a bill for over $ 200 on the counter, we found that the cabinets had NOT been wiped down completely. Areas on the sides, outside and even food crumbs were left on the inside of some of them. The one shower/​tub was pretty clean to begin with so in my estimation, they just left it as is. There were watermarks on the drain that were in the same place from the night before. Marks that I removed by simply rubbing my finger across. The floors in my estimation were not touched at all. There was still dirt, dust and crumbs in the corners. I could go on in even more detail but I think this gets the point across. My wife ended up cleaning for another 3 hours and has photos of dirty swiffers, paper towels and rags to prove what they had missed.
After their service my wife called their owner/​manager. He basically had an excuse for everything his employees missed. I had to hear this for myself and get further explanation. When I called him, I could tell this was not the first time he had dealt with dissatisfied customers on the phone. I would not be surprised if he had scripted answers written down. He answered every question with a question or made any excuse plausible. No mention of fixing the problems or refunds of any money.
DO NOT USE this service. Look elsewhere. If this is the way someone would like a business run, then they will not be in business much longer.

June 2012 Maid Brigade cleaned my home. In my night stand drawer I had a envelope with 5 one hundred dollar bills in it, a couple weeks after Maid Brigade cleaned my home I looked in my drawer and the money was gone, I was left with an empty envelope. My family didn’t know I had this money in my drawer, I was saving for a surprise. The only people other than my family who were in my home was the Maid Brigade. My heart is broken to think someone who I paid to clean my home would steal my savings. I would never recommend this company ever! I would never hire them again ever! This company doesn’t rate a star they are far below any rating.

The deep cleaning went OK, but the service after that was atrocious. You could see circles around the plant stands and other light weight items that were definitely not moved while cleaning the floor. I don’t expect them to move anything heavy, but this was just lazy. The last time they came they were in and out in 30 minutes. You can’t do a decent job in any house in one manhour on a monthly basis. Found broken items as well which just adds to the cost.

Just had our first deep cleaning on Wednesday. I was traveling, but my husband was home. He was thrilled by the service. My laminate floors were cleaned, and they look better than they ever have. Even the BACK of the lfat screen was cleaned. House smells great — everything looks wonderful, can’t wait till my next visit.

We’ve had them clean our house two times. The first time they actually did a pretty good job, but they left all the toys on our kid’s kitchen table and didn’t dust or clean it at all. They also didn’t clean our tv’s (covered in toddler goo and finger prints) or glass door (also covered with finger prints). They mopped around our toddler play mat, and didn’t even bother lifting it up or cleaning the mat itself. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and had them come back, because everything else had been done well. BIG MISTAKE.
The second time they came out they were here for 45 minutes. Seriously? I have a 2000 sq. foot house! I left for 15 min. to get Starbucks, and I came back to an empty house. No maid anywhere to be found. Front door unlocked for anyone to come in and rob me blind. No note. No phone call to say they were leaving. Not even a bill (I still have no clue how much they charged my husband’s credit card). I called immediately. The house was still dirty, the tv and glass door were filthy, floors in kitchen not mopped, play mat still dirty, despite me specifically telling the mgr I wanted those things cleaned well this time. Oh yes, and one of the girls who was «dusting» (if you consider leaving everything on top of an entertainment center there while you wipe around it) broke a very special gift that had a lot of sentimental value to me. No apology. Nothing except for «oh, this is broken». I watched her break it. Unreal.
The dispatch office said they’d have the maids come back the same day to fix their mistakes. That was Friday. They then said it would be Monday morning. We called that morning when they didn’t show and they said ‘oops, we thought it was this afternoon’. I had afternoon appts all afternoon that day. It’s now Wednesday, and they still haven’t showed (but we paid for it). Never again.

We had a team from Maid Brigade clean our house this week, and they did a fantastic job! We had really let it go, but they came in and got right to work, and by the time they were done, it was spotless. Even cleaner than when we first moved in! We’re definitely signing up for monthly service and look forward to an ongoing relationship with them. Maid Brigade gets the highest recommendation!
