McDonald’s

Today I went to lunch with my brother and we were appalled at the painstakingly long wait we were forced to undergo following our luncheon of chicken nuggets and fries. The only reason I’m giving this two stars instead of one is because of the nuggets. However, once we ordered apple pies I was disappointed with the dreadful 15 minutes it took the employees to prepare our pies. This is unacceptable seeing as McDonald’s is infamous for their speedy service; if we wanted to sit through such a prolonged wait we would have taken our time and money elsewhere. This establishment is one of our childhood favorites, and I hope this ordeal doesn’t affect our eatery choices in the future, but it doesn’t seem like we will be returning anytime soon.

I ordered 2 hash browns. They gave me a sausage biscuit… You had one job. (°A°‘) Only one job.

Standard mc fair. I was a little cranky because the $ 5 mix offer here doesn’t include the quarter pounder even though it shown in their menu here. It’s still on the list

Charged for Double Cheeseburger. Got McDouble. ’nuff said.

Of course every McDonalds across the country is essentially the same with very little difference. But give this one a try if you like the environment of an open-​air fish market in Bangladesh. The place is infested with flying insects! I’ve been in here twice in 2 months and had the same experience both times. Do yourself a favor and go to either Poway or Carmel Mountain locations… you’ll be glad you did!

FOOD POISONING. That’s what you’ll get if you order from their breakfast menu at night.
Once It took them 20 min to bring my order out to me. The guy who came out to my car looked like an assistant manager or lead (with a black shirt). Filipino guy, looked like he was still in high school. I asked him what took so long and he just said, «We’re really busy» and walked away, but not before giving me a strange look. Like he was pissed at me or something.
He probably remembered me because the next time I was there is when I got poisoned. Haven’t been back there since.

HINT: 2 Egg McMuffins are a bit pricey ~$ 8.50 … If you’re further east, you can get same for ~$ 4 at Poway Rd location, just east of Pomerado.
Overall … Hit and miss on service, politeness/​rudeness meter, drive-​thru times. Orders are occasionally wrong, so recommend checking before leaving.

Came through the drive-​thru at 10pm on a Friday. One car ahead of us & it took 3 minutes to go from ordering to paying. Bought an oreo mcflurry, ice cream cone & 3 choc chip cookies.
The girl who greeted me was extremely polite & friendly, more so than a lot of places I go to (that aren’t fast food). It’s always nice when someone who has to work a sucky job (and gets paid very little) can still have a good attitude about their job. Thank you random drive-​thru chick.

Satisfying 2 people’s sweet tooth at 10pm on a friday night in Poway, when everything else is closed: Priceless.

Normally this place is ok. I only go threw the drive-thru…but today… I sat in the drive-​thru for 8 minutes how do I know this… I listened to 2 full songs! THEN they skipped my car and took the other car in the other lane!
I ordered the 2 sausage mc muffins for $ 3.99 BUT I did ask for egg whites and bacon well done in the same one. The girl obviously didn’t understand me bc she had me drive to the window
I got to the window told the lady how long I had been waiting and she gave me a blank stare. I stated my order AGAIN and asked who the manager was. I thought maybe this girl was in training… funny she was the manager!!!
I got my order but knew I should check it. OF COURSE it wrong!!!
I got one with sausage, egg whites, and YELLOW American cheese. The 2^nd was regular egg with WHITE cheddar and bacon! She TOTALLY messed up my order. So I gave it back, and they «fixed it» and handed me back the egg white one with a COLD piece of cheese on it… dang skippy I sent that back too!
I got my order back agin and it as STILLL wrong!
This is the second time this week I’ve waiting VERY long in the drive thru when there was no line, my order was incorrect and the people barely spoke English! Maybe they don’t understand it either.
This McDonalds is convienant but read the reviews. They are ALL the same. Guess I’ll only go their for drinks, at least a machine makes those so you can’t screw that up!
Now on to do their surgery!

I’ve been here several times for Late night drive thru and found that it is hit or miss but more of a miss. On more than one occasion my chicken nuggets were not fully cooked. They have given me a completely wrong order or forgotten to give me sauces or an item. After avoiding this place for months I decided to give it another try to order from their all day breakfast menu and unfortunately it was a miss. I ended up with a burnt sandwich. MAJOR FAIL!

I come by this McDonald’s because it’s a quick drive through to pick up some ice tea and jump on the freeway. And, that’s all that I get here. I am not a fan of McDonald’s food. However, I do like their coffee drinks, and their ice tea. It’s consistent so you know what you’re getting. I’ve been here 3 times at this point. I use the drive through every time. I have never been inside. They have a double drive through system which can make things quicker or not. The service is consistently friendly. And, that works for me.

Cute décor but the most MISERABLE McDonalds EVER, nooooooo AIRCONDITIONING… those poor employees must be DYING, not a place to come unless sweaty is your goal, yuk

This is the absolute worst McDonalds in the history of existence. First off, the wait, it took about 15 minutes per car. Second there was a strange girl screaming obscenities in the background the entire time. Third cars sped off and skipped paying due to the wait. Fourth the meal was obviously microwaved. Fifth they tried charging us for someone else’s order. Sixth the receptionist didn’t notice the other guy sped off. Seventh the receptionist got confused when we tried explaining it to him. Eighth the receptionist did not apologize not did the manager for the ridiculous wait and mix up. Ninth there was absolutely no customer service effort. Tenth the person obviously hates his job. That’s not our fault.
The people at this location are miserable and they obviously hate their jobs. Fire everyone and give jobs to individuals who care. The food was old and gross.

This Micky D’s takes the cake. On 8÷6÷15 I visited this location. The young whipper snapper in the drive thru was so rude. I ordered on the new 24 hr breakfast menu and I was told I couldn’t get the #7 bacon egg and cheese Mcgriddle after 10:30am. It was 10:40am at the time of ordering. I explained to him that there was a menu posted that showed the item I could order. He proceeded tell me it was not there. Of course I took a pic of it to prove it was there. Later the manager admitted it was left up in error. So then I ordered a #1 egg McMuffin. The drive thru guy asked me «what kind»? I told him, there was no choice, it’s an egg McMuffin. He asked again, «what kind»? I said, what do you mean, there’s no choice? Again he says, «What kind»? Finally I’m like «Dude, what are you talking about, IT. IS. AN. EGG. MCMUFFIN. Then he realized he made a mistake. Of course when I get to the window to pay he doesn’t apologize or even say thank u. Sooo unprofessional it was ridiculous. I told the Manager but I don’t think anything will happen. He just said,“It is not the first complaint for him.» I would give one star but the Manager was nice so I give 2 stars. But my butt will not be back.

RANCHO PENASQUITOS MCDONALDS (AT PQ ROAD/​POWAY/​56 EXIT)

Upon driving thru to collect my order at the 2^nd window of this McD’s the minion whose name badge stated KENNETH would NOT speak, smile or greet a customer upon giving the food. I thought that perhaps they hired ‘special needs’ persons? but I think not. I asked him, ‘Kenneth, do you even speak?” and he just shrugged and gave a smug, passive aggressive smirk.
it was odd, and downright rude. I told him, you know you’re acting odd for someone in customer service.
5 mins after leaving this local McD’s, I looked up the phone number to call this site directly to complain, but after numerous rings, the man who answered the phone, would NOT give his name, stating that «there’s no management or supervisor here» and then… the phone strangely disconnected. Actually disconnected the 3 TIMES I phoned back to state I had a complaint about the service! Now I know I saw a blue collared shirted person back there, so some semblance of management was there…
I know its just fast food, but we’re not in Europe, and there are so many folks who need jobs and would have a better attitude towards work. I’m more incensed that ability to phone and complain about the passive aggressive and silent treatment of Kenneth and window 2 is something he’s opting to impose upon all other customers for his unfortunate shift today.
I will be filing a complaint with corporate.
VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER MCD’S AROUND. I WOULDN’T PATRONIZE THIS ONE. Hope those folks that I had the unfortunate chance to be served by don’t get any further in their careers/​lives. They made fast food miserable as it was !
Worst. McDonalds. service. ever. (and that’s even worse than the McD’s from loooong ago in the ‘hood’ at Highland in National City!

Been coming here for decades and have never really been blown away or disappointed. With that being said, this location has changed over the years and so has most of its staff. The recent addition of drive thru stations helps and the renovation of the dining area was also a plus but once in a while I find myself getting stuck at the drive thru waiting more than 5 minutes for my food… Therefore the 3 rating. The dining area is refreshed yet at times can be full of people just trying to utilize the free wifi after spending a buck on a drink or coffee and will be there for hours I’m sure though a huge sign says dining limited to 30 minutes lol! There have also been a few times where the soda machines don’t have a few drinks or there isn’t any carbonation, etc… But all in all this McDonald’s has been a so so. It has definitely kept me full and contributed to my obesity!

This place deserves 0 stars, I’d have to say I barely have McDonald, maybe once a year or so, I decided to go there last night, and what a bad idea, I have to say I was very impressed how nice the inside and everything was, but the guy behind the counter saw us and he ignored us for a good 20 minutes or so just running around and taking care of drive through and when he finally grabbed our order we had to wait for another 20 minutes for our «fast food «no apologies or nothing, I’d probably would not go back !

Let me preface this by saying I go through McDonald’s exclusively for their $ 1 drinks (usually an iced tea or a coke). This drive through is so slow and I’ve had my drink orders messed up constantly. On the rare ocassion that I do order food, I can expect it to be messed up.
Worst. McDonald’s. Ever.

Went here on my short 15 minute break in hopes of getting white mocha. I waited and waited and waited to order. Three people standing around and the lady in front of me complaining about not tasting any espresso in her drink. I up and left for 7 – 11. Got $ 2 coffee there and I can put as much creamer as I want.
I don’t usually eat at McDonalds because I don’t trust any junk in my body. I always see people sitting around using their Wi-​Fi though.
