Avoid this place!
I paid for an engine steam cleaning to locate an oil leak. Terrible job! The cleaning here is an engine dressing. Engine looks clean from the top but nothing was done to clean the bottom or sides of the engine. He was told the engine needed steam cleaning to find an oil leak and did not clean the areas requested.
Wait… it gets worse. The cleaning was done with the engine running and once the car was parked at home it wouldn’t start. They did not bother to cover any of the obvious electrical areas.

$ 75 to hose down engine and wipe down with a dirty rag. Engine visibly still dirty and I had to ask him to do a better job. He wiped down a couple more spots and stopped as if to say that’s all he was going to do. I asked him to remove debris from below windshield and he picked at a couple of items and left the rest. $ 75 for 10 minutes of crappy service. Learn from my mistake and AVOID this place.

Osiel was friendly and professional. He did an amazing job at cleaning my engine compartment and restoring my headlights, and he charged a good price. I plan to use him again to detail my other 2 cars and would recommend him to others.

I don’t understand why people give these place 4 star. I was looking for a place to do under chassis/​undercarriage wash I search and found some place the first thing I ask if they have a lift or at least a ramp.
Quite a few place came out of my search but they don’t have a lift or even a ramp. So these place Osiel’s came out of my search and I called him he said he had a ramp so I’m all happy because I finally got a place the one that I need. For short I went there I pulled inside the compound and I didn’t see a ramp so I ask Osiel he said the ramp is at the back and he even told me I can go inside and take a look. So I trusted his word, I let him do the under chassis/​undercarriage wash.
I was busy on my phone when they pull my van and brought it at the back of the compound by the time I notice they’re staring the job, so I walk back just to see if they have a ramp. These guy Osiel LIED to me they only have a small bump enough to elevate the van about 5 to 6 inches off the ground I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THESE PLACE and I will NEVER COME BACK or RECOMMEND these to the people I know. So sad!

This is the *best* detailing job I’ve ever seen! They got my car back in show-​room quality for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Osiel– he’s a great guy to work with. What a great place this is– centrally located, reasonably priced, fast work. Just go down Othello to the building at 7739 Othello and drive to the back to of building on the side alley. I am thrilled with the great job they did!!!

Great pricing and took care of my car within an hour notice. Customer service skills were on point as Osiel was friendly, upfront and honest. There were only 2 small locations they missed, which is why I gave 4 stars. For the price though, you can’t beat it!

Tough to find but outstanding attention to detail. I highly recommend Osiel if you are looking for a show quality detail job. I will be back.

Osiel is my go-​to guy for a wash or detail. Much better than one of those drive-​through joints. Highly recommended for car guys who can’t wash their own cars. Like mentioned, his shop has moved.

Osiel’s has moved to 7739 Othello Avenue, 92 111. This is off Convoy, near the Cosco shopping center. Pull your car around the back — as he just moved, there are no signs yet. Same great service, new location!

If you must get your engine cleaned (due to an oil leak or such) find someplace else to do it. Their cleaning here is more of an engine dressing. The top third of everything under the hood was made to look very pretty, complete with gel coating, but where I needed it clean (sides and bottom of block to locate a leak) it was left covered in grime. That’s fine if all you want is for it to look nice prior to selling, but they knew I needed it cleaned to locate a leak.
To add injury to insult, my car needed to be jumped just to get out of there, and it later proceeded to die on me twice that evening, finally requiring a tow. I gave them the benefit of doubt when I picked up the car; maybe they did the cleaning with the key in the ‘on’ position accidentally. However, the mechanic told me the following day that their gel coating got into the electronics and distributor cap, causing the car to become inoperable. Fortunately it dried out overnight and was running the next day, although I was told the distributor cap could likely now corrode and should be replaced.
Bottom line… a waste of $ 50 (yup, I even tipped), a couple of AAA calls used up, and a total headache of a day to follow.

This is the first time I have written a review to Unilocal.I had a oil leak and after it was fixed, my mechanic suggested getting my engine cleaned to see if there were any more leaks. The mechanic suggested a company up in Mira Mar but as I live in Mission Valley, I didn’t want to go clear up to MM so I Googled engine cleaning places and I saw the reviews for Osiel’s and I was sold. It only took about 25 minutes and I was good to go. Thank you, Mikey H, for the extra info regarding that Osiel’s was behind Enterprise Rent-​A-​Car. I would recommend this place.

I have a slow oil leak in my car but before I take it in, I figured it was time to clean my engine. Something I’ve done in the past to make it easier for the mechanics to find the leak. I searched on Unilocal for somewhere to go and this place popped up.
I have to agree with Benedict G. when he said it was hard to find. I was over on Armour driving up and down. I did find Sushi Deli 3 which I didn’t know existed, and no, I didn’t stop for lunch. I tried calling the number, but no one answered. I finally went into the repair shop to ask and they told me he was over on Balboa. They even had his card on their counter.
You have to drive onto the Enterprise lot and just keep going toward the back and you will see the sign. But the space is small… one way in and out, and is shared with several other businesses. Osiel came out, told me to drive my car over toward their space, sprayed some magical mixture onto my engine and hosed it down with water. The engine almost looks new… not showroom new, but very clean. They also do detailing, inside and out.
Great place to go and it took no more than 30 minutes. This place is a hidden, and believe me when I say hidden, gem.

Kinda hard to find, it’s at the very back of Enterprise on Balboa Avenue. Only took about 40 minutes to clean. Talk to Osiel — he doesn’t say much but he does an awesome job! Steam clean/​detail engine bay + he cleaned under the hood for $ 40 (cash only). I just walked down the block to Chevron, they got an atm. I never give 5 stars… this place deserves it!
