Where is this place and I don’t see how you could have a bad one. I bought beer for a friend I didn’t know what kind of beer my friend liked but I know he likes beer and the owner walked around the beer fridge with me and made really helpful suggestions. It’s a liquor store they have what you need convenient and I got great service here.

Great little corner store, anything from cigarettes to liquor to beer, a lot of great wine also. This store has cosmetic needs also, toilet paper, to toothpaste. Even lady needs! Large selection of craft beer, and a great selection of spirits,(liquor). Oh! And they also have this European candy. Most amazing candy ever!!!

This is a good little market and a good go to spot when you don’t want to deal with grocery store lines and crowds and need something quick. They have everything from snacks, chips, candy, sodas, paper towels, toilet paper, cold medicine and much more! They also have a large selection of wine, probably a quarter of the store is wine and the entire wall behind the check out counter is lined with bottles of booze. They also have some refrigerated and frozen foods. The guys who work here are always very friendly and say hi to everyone when you walk in the door. My last visit in I noticed they had English candy at the check out counter featuring aero bars, flakes, cadburys dairy milk and fruit pastels… how amazing is that!

I used to be a regular here and thought it would be nice to patron a local establishment. The store employee watched as the parking lot rent-a-cop harassed me for talking on the phone in their parking lot after being a paid customer. The parking lot was empty and I wanted to take a few mins to make a phone call before I started driving. I talked to the store employee after being yelled at and he just wiped his hands of the situation and said the parking lot security guy had nothing to do with his store. BS — who else gets cars towed for them!

Tried to buy wine after enjoying a meal at Lucha Libre(review coming), there was a «back in ten minutes» cardboard sign taped to the door. Weak.

Love stopping by this place to get a quick pack of beer and pints of ice cream. It’s close to the house and I’m able to scope out the Lucha Libre and Bar Dynamite scene before heading home. Parking is limited as it is in a popular restaurant area and you’re only given 3 minutes to park, shop and leave. There’s also a security guard keeping close watch on where you park and which business you visit.

My favorite thing about Palomar Market? It’s right next to Lucha Libre. You better not park your car in front of thus building if you are not going inside the liquor store or you WILL get towed. Anywhere else in the lot is fine. Other than that, we’ve got ourselves just another neighborhood ditty bag.

The only time that I ever come here is if Im buying some peptol bismo before eating at Lucha Libres or if Im hanging out at Bar Dynamite. I dont know about all the negative stuff from the other reviews but whatever. Its a liquor store. If you dont want to pay the bar prices for a shot then come here and buy those little shot bottles, down them and then go back to the bar. Ive never purchased booze here, just either a soda or snacks, if Im trying to sober back up.

If you’re in the neighborhood and don’t want to make the trek up the hill to a proper supermarket, this place fits the bill. Surprisingly decent selection of wines and craft beers, as well as typical convenience store fare(snacks, dairy, etc). Prices are high, but you’re paying a premium for convenience.

$ 1.75 for a 16oz A&W Rootbeer? WTF? Greedy! I didn’t find this out until I got to the cash register… they don’t have price tags on everything… on purpose I think! Oh well, still a convient place to get lotto tickets, and the employees/owners aren’t punks(so far) like the typical liquer store.

This is going to be a bit harsh… Came here one night just by chance for a few things. I don’t know what the douche bag«manager» had up his ass that night but he was nothing but an ASSHOLE… Rude and had a chip on his shoulder… Louie reminds me of that jock jackass dude in high school you know big and dumb. You know a bone head lacking people skills… Thank god he is just a manager of a «liquor store»

The closest market to mi casa. They have a great variety of beer and wine as well as licker. They even sell incense and papers and cigars and all of those things to make a night right(condoms too, no not for me!). Louie is the BEST–«hey baby»…
