I am very pleased with the expert level of care given by Dakota. He is very timely with deliveries and pickup. The laundry is always clean and fresh. There have been times that I’ve needed to schedule an impromptu pickup and Dakota has been very accomodating to my needs. I really appreciate having a service that I can count on. It is a very rare thing to find someone who is so customer focused and really takes pride in what they do! I would highly recommend this service to anyone. The prices are very reasonable and the level of care is unmatched in my opinion.

Fantastic experience! Can I give a bazillion stars?! They went above and beyond to help me! I am in the process of moving and found my bridesmaid’s dress that I wore in my older sister’s wedding COVERED in mold. It was in the back of the closet in a poorly ventalated space and I didn’t discover it until packing. They picked it up and were able to get the mold out, clean it, and deliver it back to me! It’s beautiful! Excellent and kind customer service and very upfront about what they will be able to do!

I don’t normally write reviews but this service was exceptional! Dakota was extremely nice and accommodating even came inside my home and helped me bag my dirty laundry! This service was 5 star from beginning to end worth every penny and as far as the clothes they came back smelling amazing and perfectly folded. The nice clothes were even hung up as well! Washing laundry sucks! I own a small spa and we are constantly having to wash linens. With all of the things a business owner has to do in a days work, constant laundry should not be one of them! It is such a headache. Or should I say WAS a headache. Life is so much easier now with Dakota’s Personal Laundry Service. He picks it up on the morning of my slowest day and brings it back the very next morning. It is a super fast turnover and now I don’t even have to think about it anymore. He has been doing my laundry for a few months and the process is seamless. The sheets come back super clean and professionally folded. He even gave me a choice of laundry detergents. I get the free and clear soap because sometimes fragrances can offend clients. The sheets come back smelling great!
Dakota is also a very nice man and you can tell he really cares about his customers. I would absolutely 100% recommend him and Personal Laundry Service.

That means there should be 10 stars, an extra one for: (1) customer service, (2) ease of dealing with business, (3) outstanding execution of service provided, (4) excellent business ethics, and (5) an all-​around, hassle-​free, super experience.
One of my new year’s resolutions is to make my life as easy as possible and due to a recent back injury I’ve been recovering from, I decided to get a laundry service to tackle the project of bedding (new mattress cover, new flannel sheets set, and a Queen size comforter) which would be unwieldly for me to carry down stairs to my condo’s laundry room, let alone accommodate the large bulky items. I had only used one service previously a few years ago, and called upon them again. Unfortunately, that service which is very close to my home, had a 3-​day turnaround, and all pick ups/​deliveries had already been scheduled for the day, even though it was just 1pm, and they don’t do Saturdays or Sundays.
Not wanting to wait basically a week for laundry to be completed, I looked on Unilocal and found something about ‘Best Pick Up Laundry Service’ in San Diego, with this company, Personal Laundry Service, and it’s 5 star ratings. I called, Dakota immediately answered the phone, and this lovely man came to pick up my laundry less than two hours later. He being friendly, personable in an honest, forthright and gentle manner, knowledgeable, dedicated to the max and helpful with a clean professional appearance, gave me confidence I’d gone with the right company. My 24-​hour turnaround time was actually early, and the transaction couldn’t have been easier.
They accept cash and credit cards, even American Express! Everything is automated, you get a receipt instantly via text, as well as a paper receipt which Dakota wrote out. The prices (stated on their website, no hidden fees or costs) are very reasonable and worth every single penny.
If you just don’t have the time to spend all day or night doing laundry, the energy, the facilities, aren’t sure about your laundry skills (such as fabric care, sorting by color and type of materials, temperatures, etc.), are temporarily disabled and need in-​home types of help, are living in a residential hotel or staying somewhere in America’s Finest City, or just plain hate doing laundry and would do anything to get out of it, Personal Laundry Service SD Fluff n Fold will be a Godsend for you. I had the most horrific encounter with this business owner about a week ago. Screaming at (I’m about 5’2) me over not letting him get out of his car prior to parking next to him. Completely rude and unprofessional, and on the day before Christmas. For someone to behave that way, slamming his door and screaming at me, was shocking. Marketing your business and in a service industry, with that behavior, It’s probably not the best way to represent yourself. Don’t want to deal with parking spaces and have road rage, don’t think a mobile business is ideal… just saying!
Parking is tough at that location and I struggled to get out of my car, but to behave that, was unnecessary.

Dakota was so sweet, timely, and even gave me a discount. He really knows what he’s doing and he helps you out a lot! Definitely perfect for busy people who don’t have the time to do laundry. I got all my laundry back the very next day, folded and on hangers, it was perfect! Highly recommend!

I LOVE this service. Aside from being affordable, there is absolutely no price on the customer satisfaction.
— Fast Service: He answered immediately the following morning after I submitted my request around midnight the prior day. My laundry was brought back the second day only because I had A LOT. Otherwise it’s usually a 24 hr turn around.
— Convenient: After my first online submission I simply text him for recurring services and he normally responds immediately.
— Affordable: I paid $ 100 for 50 lbs for my first service (This is not normal: P An average load will be 15 and cost around $ 30). It gets even cheaper if you are a recurring customer along with monthly coupon codes.
— Friendly: Probably the most important. He brings a smile as well as fresh laundry saving me hours of work and more time to sit back and have a glass or two. My only complaint is I haven’t done this sooner.

I am a full time student and work 3 part time jobs. I am on a strict budget but dread taking time away from school or lab work to do laundry with the terrible machines in my apartment complex. Indulging in this service was a pretty big deal for me and I am so thankful that I had such a positive experience.

Where have you been all my life? I live in bankers hill and do not have laundry faciliteies in my apt, nor my building. Bitter/​sweet. I usually do my laundry on sunday but a few too many sunday fundays I had a mounting pile of laundry that kept screaming at me for weeks. I searched online for a service, I found a few places that serviced outside my area and one that was just way too pricey (like $-5 per pound! For that they should put it away too, and vaccumm lol)

I couldn’t be happier. AS with any delivery service, setting an exact time to arrive is difficult. He not only catering to my request, but eeryone else. I am pretty casual with the pick up/​drop off. I dread having to spend several hours doing laundry using the marina facilities even though they are very well kept. I was visiting from out of town, helping my Mom recover from surgery. I couldn’t leave her long enough to go to a laundromat and our laundry was really piling up. Dakota was wonderful, all around great experience. He picked up and dropped off, right to our hotel door. Clothes were laundered with care, arriving neat, clean, and folded, with an impressive turnaround time (I believe 24 or 48 hours.) He even gave us a giant IKEA bag to help tote our stuff. I highly recommend Dakota for all your laundry needs!

I Love, Love, Love this place! SD Fluff NFold is absolutely hands down the best laundry service in San Diego. I was referred to them by a colleague and couldn’t be happier. Dakota the owner is amazing, I am in the skincare business and require that my towels and linens be thoroughly sanitized but come out soft and smelling fresh because they are used on clients faces, and Dakota makes sure that happens. I cannot recommend Dakota and his business more. After I initially found SD Fluff and Fold on Unilocal I decided to try it out as my laundry had grown exponentially past what I was able to handle.
The response was timely, professional and the results were amazing. My clothes were cleaner and neater than any other fluff and fold laundry service I’ve used before. And as a huge plus they deliver.

Dakota is AMAZING! I had over 100 pounds of laundry, an amount I could not fathom handling on my own so I called up this company on a whim and was blown away. I called him initially and felt so at ease because he sounded very confident he could handle it despite my worries that it was too large of a request. We scheduled a pick up the next morning and he texted me confirmation when he was on his way. He came and picked up maybe 12 bags of laundry and brought me back everything beautifully hung on hangers, smelling so fresh. It was amazing. Made my life 100 times easier and I will definitely be using him again.

Owner Dakota stated he started the service after he saw his elderly dad struggle with laundry, and what was once a service for the elderly is now a service all of us can benefit from.
