Powerhouse Pilates

I’m so happy to have this Pilates studio in the neighborhood. They offer a variety of levels and styles of classes every day that virtually there is something for everyone. All of the instructors are amazingly fab and can help modify a workout if needed. The classes are affordable and they offer great packages for classes too. Powerhouse Pilates is excellent! The vibe is welcoming and friendly. The teachers are super professional and inspiring. I love that they take time to learn people’s names and give personal feedback. Their instructions are very clear and they always give options for more or less challenge. Their motto is «listen to & honor your body». Also, the studio is immaculate with a variety of equipment. I’ve taken classes at several Pilates studios from La Jolla to Point Loma and Powerhouse is definitely the best. I always leave that place feeling so good– Pilates is my medicine for a healthy life. Thank you Powerhouse!!!

This is an amazing pilates studio! The instructors are knowledgeable, original, inspiring and they take the time to offer personal modifications during class. The classes are challenging and simultaneously fun, with a great variety of exercises so a class is never similar to the previous one. I usually take Bridgette’s classes and she is amazing! I have also tried classes with Vanessa, Nicole, Jennifer and Caleigh and they are all wonderful! I highly recommend this studio and as I write these lines I am looking forward to the next class!

This is a fantastic Pilates studio in Pacific Beach! The classes are very well designed, and challenging for every fitness level. I’ve taken classes from multiple different instructors, and all are good! I really like that the instructors give you modification options for exercises if they are too hard or easy for you. The studio is always clean and very well maintained, and I have had success finding parking in the lot out front. I really need to buy a package and get back into the studio!

Love it! Have been going to Bridgette’s morning classes especially arms and abs! My body is changing and I’m really having fun during class. Relaxed atmosphere and amazing workout!

This place is great. I’ve been taking Pilates for over 10 years now and these instructors really know their stuff. The studio is clean, affordable, and super convenient for me to get to. It was formerly Club Pilates and just recently changed the name, but all of my paid classes have rolled over so other than the name on the door, and the class titles, I haven’t seen any difference. I would HIGHLY recommend this studio, especially if you’re looking for real Pilates from experienced trainers. I absolutely adore Jennifer and Stephanie’s styles of teaching as well as Vanessa. Jennifer has a way of verbally cuing you into a position that seems so minor yet I promise you will feel the burn if you do it as she suggests! 5 stars for sure for this studio!

Vanessa, Nicole, Brigette, and Caleigh have given me some of the most challenging Pilates classes I have ever taken and some of the best! Love the vibe in this studio and to have all of my faves in one place makes it my top pick for Pilates

I love Stephanie’s class. She has a GREAT deal of a class for $ 9 (almost half price!) on Thursdays at 5 pm (Level 2). I feel like I’m forced to take it to the next level in her class, and I’m always shocked when her Thursday happy hour class isn’t full. My bum and abs always feel worked for the next couple days and it’s that «good pain» that makes Pilates worth it. I urge all to take advantage! There’s another great happy hour level 2 on Wednesdays at 4 pm with Vanessa, but I rarely can make it… I recommend both!

Love it! This studio is clean, new & modern. The staff is very helpful & proffesional. I was concerned that pilates would be too challenging for this 50 yr old but they tailored the workout to all levels & abilities. I took a private lesson with Jennifer, which i recommend if you have never done pilates because the machines look scary if you are new. Once you get the hang of the equipment its pretty easy to master. I did a level 1.5 & it was challenging but totally doable. They make it easy because you schedule & pay online so you don’t need to sign in or even bring a wallet. This is so much more fun than a boring gym workout. I highly recommend trying it for yourself. I’m hooked!

I can’t get enough of this place. Easy to use reformers and equipment, good teachers, and great workouts. The studio is very clean and pretty, and the instructors are very friendly.

So far my favorite studio I’ve been too yet. One, because it’s more than just a reformer. They do several exercises off of the reformer and I have never seen that. I’ve only taken two classes here so far but I’m out of commission (wisdom teeth removed) and all I can think about is when im gonna be able to go back.
I certainly have a lot of work to do but I think these ladies are the perfect ones to help!

I’m so happy to have discovered pilates and I thank club pilates for that! I came here for the first time about a month ago and I’m now a regular :) Jennifer is a great instructor and makes the class fun.
I really like how pilates incorporates core, arms, butt and overall good form into the class.

This place is amazing. Great instructors that Will get your body feeling sore And great. When it gets hard in your lane on the reformer you can look up at these beautiful flowered light covers for some inspiration, come to this place for an amazing workout, a beautiful atmosphere, funny and open-​minded teachers and you’ll get your ass in shape, plus there is lots around, coffee, acai, nail salon, laundry.

I love Club Pilates. The instructors are great fun, experienced, and attentive. They have a great choice of class times to choose from which is really important to me. I have been to almost every Pilates studio in La Jolla and Pacific Beach are and Club Pilates is by far the best, in my opinion.
If you want a good workout with fun and experienced instructors, you must check out Club Pilates on Cass St. The facility is new and you will enjoy the experience.
The whole organization is easy to work with and very accommodating.

I’ve been going to the studio on Morena and this studio is sooooo much nicer!!! It’s clean and the machines are newer and the music ALWAYS works!!! I love love love Brigette — she is my fav teacher. She is always working different muscles and her workouts are always fun! And she’s funny!!! She keeps me motivated and I never regret a workout. Pilates has changed my life. After having kids, my body just wouldn’t bounce back and diet alone didn’t do anything. I’m feeling sooooo much stronger and healthier. I highly recommend PB club pilates!!!

This is the best Club Pilates in San Diego. I had a less than positive experience at a different Club Pilates and had sworn them off. However, The people who run this location know what they are doing. I have been doing Pilates off and on for years and am more of a traditionalist when it comes to Pilates. I have pretty high standards, too, being in the fitness industry and writing/​editing a national Pilates publication. I’ve been to many, many studios and tried many different teachers. This location has THE right recipe.
For starters, it’s gorgeous and clean on the inside. The equipment is new and well maintained. I took a level one class with Jennifer because it’s been several months since my last class. She’s extraordinary. She took the time to cue neutral spine and made sure everyone understood how to find it before we moved on. Each move layered on the last effortlessly, and her cuing and corrections were flawless. I will definitely be back, even though it’s very much out of my way and there are 4 other Club Pilates locations closer to me than this one. It’s worth it!
Don’t hesitate to try this location out. You will not be disappointed. All levels are welcome and instruction is safe and effective.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this studio! I have been doing pilates for a year and this is the best place to go. It has such a great environment. The equipment is new, the studio is nice and clean, and the instructors are great. My favorite class is Allison’s Cardio Sculpt class. Allison is so knowledgeable, sweet, and funny. She will give you a great work out and you will have fun doing it. I highly recommend coming and taking classes here!

I couldn’t be happier to support the opening of the new Club Pilates in PB. It’s fresh, new, bright look makes you motivated to want to get up at 6 am for those morning classes. The instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, and amazing at what they do. Pilates has been my workout of choice for the past year and a half and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! If you haven’t come to take a class or check it out you definitely should :0)

The new Club Pilates in Pacific Beach is fantastic! Whether you’re new to Pilates or experienced, this is a great place to check out. The teachers are all very experienced and a lot of fun! The new studio is gorgeous and offers a variety of equipment to get a great workout that is never boring. I used to dread exercising but I have been doing Pilates for 3 years now and enjoy it so much that I never fall out of my routine. And the pricing is so low that I can do many classes per week and not go broke. The location is great since it’s a little away from beach traffic and there is ample street parking for when the lot is full. I highly recommend checking it out!!!

This is a wonderful place to get caring kind instructors as well as a full body workout. Anyone with injuries or other issues will find this is a great place because Pilates is made for all body types. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend you try it!

The instructors are phenomenal. knowledgeable, safe, fun, friendly, helpful and genuine! A good workout shall be had. no work out ever the same which keeps it from getting boring! Even if you have never done pilates, don’t be intimidated. the instructors are very patient, knowledgeable and approachable!
The new studio is fresh, new and clean!
