History

Established in 2001.

Quantum Music started in the winter of 2001. After 4 years we included event planning services including event design by owner Jason Shires and changed our name to Quantum Music Event Planners, known simply in the industry as QMEP.

Two years later we started providing wedding photography and lighting. QMEP is now a multi award winning company serving the entire San Diego Area!

Business Owner

Jason Shires is one of the most requested Bay Area Wedding DJs. Over his 20 year career, Jason has performed for celebrities, professional athletes and major corporations. As an event planner, Jason has the overall production experience of creating events from scratch, including lighting design, day of coordination, and when playing host, is considered one of the best master of ceremonies in the business.
