Riveredge Terrace Apartments

Everything was resolved. They came out to fix what they had to fix. End result, Looks good as new. Thank you for fixing our problem that we had and the extra to boot. Nothing like the feeling of repairs, in a good way.

Maintenance man was awesome!
Charged for professional painting of the entire apartment after move out. Told it was standard to do so AFTER we got the bill. Previously had been told repainting was handled by the maintenance man at no extra cost. There had been a few pinholes requiring small areas to be painted.
My apartment faced north towards the car dealerships. They tried to charge extra for a «view».I was able to get that waived after showing the supposed view to the leasing agent and she couldn’t explain the reasoning of a view of dead grass and unkempt overgrowth behind a car dealership being extraordinary.
The three bedroom apartment was a great layout. The construction clearly met the absolute bare minimum. I heard my upstairs neighbors TV and music consistently. The auto closing front door was beside my toddler’s room and slammed, shaking the room and apartment every time.
The living room layout was designed to force tenants to mount a flat panel TV above the fireplace. A cutout for the cable box, DVD, ps3, etc was provided but use of the fireplace caused the equipment to overheat and shut down automatically.
Use of electronic keys in all apartments was interesting but made it very easy to be locked out due to the auto locking feature on the garage door.
There is also no ability to keep the door locked and closed on the inside of the house. A child or smart dog can easily open the door since turning the handle unlocked the door just like at a hotel but without the extra latch at the top of the door to prevent the door from actually opening.
Though officially rottweilers, German Shepherds, doberman pinschers, pit bulls, and other «dangerous» dogs were listed as not being allowed, the staff didn’t care and there were multiple dogs of all breeds being walked throughout the community daily (I’m not listing this as a bad thing, I was really happy to see it).
Nice appliances and full size washer and dryer and garage provided for every apartment was great.

This apartment community is absolutely nothing short of spectacular! I lived here when I was still stationed in Miramar and even though I knew the drive to work was gonna be aggravating I STILL chose this place for tons of reasons.
— The staff is freakin AWESOME! From the manager Celene to her assistants, they are super friendly, professional, patient, helpful, and they actually care about their tenants and potential tenants! I appreciate everything they have done for me!
— The amenities are first class. Everything is clean, working properly, and always available when you need something.
— The location is great, if you like living close to a huge outlet mall, grocery store, movie theater, gas stations, tons of restaurants, and whatever else you can think of.
— The community is safe, quiet, pet friendly, and full of pleasant neighbors. I never once saw any issues that were crime related, nor have I ever felt unsafe while living there.
So you can easily see that this place definitely needs to be your next home. When I come back I’ve already told them I’ll be moving back in. RiverEdge really is the best choice in the area, and trust me, I checked all over before moving there. Make the wise choice!

We’ve lived here about 2 years now and it’s our favorite place we ever lived! The leasing office and maintenance staff is usually friendly and helpful and our house is comfortable and beautiful. We have a little driveway and garage so we never have to worry about parking like in other places in San Diego. The neighborhood is clean and safe. There are a lot of families with kids here and lots of people with dogs. The only complaint I’d have is the occasional noisy neighbor occurrence (there are some people who like to sit in their garages and blast music for some reason) and of course there are people who refuse to pick up after their dogs but those are things you almost always have to deal with in an apartment setting.

Fake Craigslist ads designed to get you to call and then bait and switch move. No, we don’t have that unit available, and Craigslist is a 3^rd party ad where anyone can post. BS leasing agents can post lies to get you to call and advertise 3 bedrooms for $ 2121 and when you call, those units are actually $ 2500+. The 2 bedrooms are 2100. Full of sh** people probably will dic* you around once you live there if they’re lying from the first introduction. SHADY

The apartments themselves are fantastic but this is a non smoking complex and also they don’t allow high levels of noise like parties and loud music. However people don’t care about rules so when they have their music blasting the other neighbors call «security» who really don’t take care of the problem. As I write this there is a very loud party going on and of course nobody has come to take care of it even though I know for a fact that many of my other neighbors have called with the exact same complaint. This happens way to often.

Great staff and great amenities. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The unit I lived in was spacious and upgraded. The only reason I’m moving is because I purchased a home. Great neighbors. Going to miss it, it felt like home.

I came here on a whim to check out these apartments because they offered amenities I was looking for. Chula Vista isn’t exactly the area I was looking to move to for commute reasons to and from work. My wife and I came to these apartments and were helped by Yesenia. She was very polite and very knowledgable about the properties process and offerings. We came looking for a two bedroom and ended up settling on a three bedroom still within our price range. Yesenia did everything she could to make sure we were happy with our choice and amenities inside the apartment. She was also very patient with us and answered all questions we had. I’m very excited about leasing in this community. Once we actually move and give the place a spin I will update my review. Overall I loved it and am very pleased.

Apartment is amazing, neighborhood is amazing (looks and amenities wise). Any issue that I had was addressed by Yesenia, who gave me a call and listened to any discrepancies and made sure they were taken care of! She really has made this move an ease and like I said the apartment is amazing and the pricing makes it even better. Very affordable and very comfortable! Yesenia is the best!

A great place to live staff was great to me took care of all my need expensive but worth it and you get a piece of mind quite family/​military type of place.

I’ve been living here for a year and a half. The only reason why I stuck it out was because I was waiting on my house to finish being built. The apartments are very nice in looks but that’s it. When it comes to complaints these people are worthless on helping you. This is a smoke free environment but yet our neighbors upstairs constantly smoke and we can smell it into our apartment. We complain about the constant dog barking due to the size of the dog (a great dane) and they do nothing about it. These people are rude and constantly slam the front door and have no care for others. They have lied about their lease since day one that they had no pets and how many people live in there. 5 adults, 3 kids, a baby a horse of a dog and a small little dog for a 3 bedroom apartment. With all these complaints the front office has done nothing but say we are working on it with legal. I have talked to Celine the manager twice and nothing happens. The only person who has ever helped us was Yesenia. She goes above and beyond to try to talk the neighbors when we complain but there is only so much that she can do. If you do rent here recommend upstairs so you don’t have to deal with the paper thin floors and walls and rude upstairs neighbors. Parking here is horrible. Not enough parking for visitors and people consta
ntly park in fire zones, your paid spot, or in areas not suppose to be used as a spot. Again pretty complex but no repercussions for people who destroy the complex and people who are good tenants have to suffer. Sorry $ 2,600 is too much to pay and deal with all this when I can live somewhere else.

Overall this place is really nice. We have a 3br, 2ba unit which are about to leave since we are moving out of state. The management have always been really helpful and friendly. Maintenance has always been timely. The gym, pool and bbq facilities were nice and clean when we did use them. I recommend living here to anyone interested.

This place is a piece of shit. First of all you pay up the fucking ass to live on the side of the freeway, and there is NO INSULATION. It’s either extremely cold or hot and of course that’s when you turn on the fireplace or the AC so you pay MORE. My boyfriend and I lived there for 9 months and the maintenance guys would walk in without asking and leave paperwork. One time one of the guys walked in while I was naked and just got out of the shower. I got so scared and got dressed and asked him what he wanted. When he left I cried so hard because of how scared I was and how pissed off I was. We left here after 9 months. No mess no hole or stains and today just out of curiosity we go onto our account and see that they are CHARGING US OVER $ 800 because they had to replace ONE BEDROOM OF Carpet. I didn’t know 2sq ft of carpet was $ 800. And I wonder why we opted to pay $ 100 to have someone clean the carpet. It’s so pathetic and then didn’t even send out a notice, just assumed we’d go onto the site. I will sue them if any issues. The girls in the front has always been snobby bitches to me and think they’re some type of realtors, honey, you ain’t shit! So pissed I would NEVER live back here or recommend to anyone. We have tons of military friends and we ALWAYS tell them what a shitty place this is.

It’s a really nice place and the Staff is great. However, there is never parking available for guests. They started a new construction right next to the apartments and it’s noisy all day, they broke the water pipes twice this week and they will shut off water for four hours again, it’s getting really annoying.

Since my last post here the community manager called me and told me they read my review and will fix it. The management here do care about there residents they’ll go above and beyond to make sure the community is happy and feel like it’s their home to come to at the end of the day. I would like to thank you to all the staff who’s worked so hard to make this community awesome you guys keep it up your hard work isn’t going on notice. Thank you

So much for office hours huh? Been calling for an hour now. Guess these aren’t right for me.

Ok, I’ve had my fair dealings with Celine, and I can honestly say she is lazy! At first I thought it was just me, but after reading these reviews and speaking with other neighbors today, it is her! Initially, I thought there may have been a language barrier because she would just nod her head as I addressed concerns and was completely incapable of providing justifiable feedback. She apparently has a script that only contains the words «I’ll look into it» with no actual follow through. For the longest I was under the distinct impression Sam was the supervisor because he frequently interacted with the community even if he just waved at all of the passing cars. It’s a shame because it’s a beautiful family oriented property!

This place is now being run by a bunch of incompetent morons that don’t understand what customer service. Selena is a joke for a «supervisor». Bring Sampson back, make him supervisor! I agree with everyone else, this property is definitely getting a cut for each tow from network parking solutions. Don’t even consider this neighborhood if you own a car or enjoy being treated like a human being.

NO PARKING AVAILABLE FOR RESIDENTS! beware, they will tow your car for any reason. most of the parking they have available for your «guest» are available for an additional $ 50 a month. I’m assuming management gets some sort of referral fee for towing cars if you don’t pay the additional fee.
I’ve been a resident at riveredge for one year. I love my place, it’s beautiful. the community is nice and quite, actually not far from the freeway. The reason why I selected this place at the time was because of the customer service Vanessa and Samson provided. they were amazing, nice and ALWAYS found a way to provide results!
Currently now, the management office really needs some training on customer service.
ladies in the office work so hard at NOT working. They never pick up the office phone. I called exactly at 9am til 939 am. melody picked up the phone saying the phone never rang, and the calls were going to the answering service. oh, okay? (funny thing is, I saw her running late. I was sitting in the leasing parking waiting.)
The hardest thing the ladies do all day is pick up their meal for lunch. The manager, Selene is the primary one that’s lazy, rude and doesn’t know how to approach people in a respectful way. She’s so busy at doing nothing. it’s so frustrating! I’ve also sent referrals for people to become a resident. they politely declined after meeting some of the ladies at the office (mentioning the same issues I have with their customer service) The part thats a killer is the rent is expensive, that’s not a problem. I understand. It’s the service they provide that comes along with paying the rent. Not to mention they ALWAYS have a excuse of why they CANT do anything.

This place is a joke. I parked at my friends paid spot whom he pays an extra 50 for.
I stayed the night to find out my car to had been tow. We called around for the run around. Network Parking Solution directed us to AMB TOWING whom play the I don’t know game and told us that it is 360 dollars for the tow. That is simply ridiculous price. There are no signs in the lot. I believe my vehicle got unlawfully tow

If I can give Zero stars I will. The apartment manager needs serious customer service skills. I have been a tenant for almost two years and the way she was talking down to me instead of resolving my issue was unacceptable.
Samson who works in the leasing office is great but he was busy.
I’m trying to resolve this issue by calling the supervisor in their corporate office so we will see how this will end!!!
Bottom line — do not accept being treated like crap when you pay almost $ 2k a month in rent. After all. No tenants no job for leasing people.
