Was down and out troubling to find someone without a ridiculous quote then I came across this shop, they took a look at it and let me know that it was fixable with that being said I ask for a quote which as indeed price range I was looking for so I came back the next day for the repair and I must say I was no let down… thanks guys I’ll definitely be back and I hope anyone reading this in the time of need will too

I went in today to get an estimate and Howard and his team got my car in right then. Was in and out within 2 hours, I didn’t want to replace any parts just do a quick fix and even then other shops still said it would take days for this! Also the cheapest place by far in and around this area, I got about 10 quotes for a fix without replacing parts and his was half of ALL of them. I highly recommend this place to anyone, he is very nice and honest, he took me back to show and explain to me that there was no severe damage on the inside. Seems like he genuinely wants to help people. I’ll be going back here if I have any other issues. And also he honors the 10% off if you mention Unilocal,saved me $ 50. Super quick and reasonable prices!

Three words to describe the mechanic who helped me: honest, flexible and reliable.
I came here based on Unilocal reviews, and I had a great experience! I am positive I saved over $ 150 by coming to this shop. Additionally, I came in last minute and they were still able to help.
I would highly recommend you check out this place. I personally do not know much about cars, and I am grateful to have found a shop I can trust. I plan on returning here for future repairs.

Beware. Get everything in writing and confirm. They said the entire car would be repainted if we paid extra and then when we picked up the recanted and the only painted the bumper and hood.
Also the car was promised to be completed in a few days and it’s been 2 weeks.

Five stars from the start. Five stars to finish. I was greeted by a nice young man named Liam months ago when I was looking to have some body work done. Liam listened to my request and offered expert advice. I left with a reasonable quote in hand. I came back this Monday 12÷14÷15 to have the work performed, and Liam even recognized me and remembered our conversation. As of today, my car is looking better than ever! Howard the owner is a really nice man, and his staff was such a pleasure to work with. I felt like family, and even though I hope I won’t be needing body work again anytime soon, it’s almost too bad because I want an excuse to hang with Howard and his excellent team. Do yourself a favor and just get your work done here, don’t bother with anyone else and their stuffy attitudes and sky high quotes!

Howard did a great job on my car and is a very honest guy. He even let me pick up my car on Sunday even though they were closed.

Simply great service and masterful technicians! Howard and his team assessed my Audi S5 rear ended bumper and replace and repaired within one week! No rework! Looks like new!

By far the best customer service in San Diego! My car was in an accident and needed quite a bit of work, and it was all coming out of pocket. We were hesitant if it was even worth it to fix, but for the price these guys gave it was more than worth it!
First off, the car had to be towed there. The shop had let me know that a tow truck was coming for FREE. It ended up running late and I had work to get to so the owner sent someone all the way from his shop (30+ min away) to come wait with my car to be picked up since I had to go to work! It was so awesome and helpful.
The car was brought in on a Wednesday, got the estimate on Thursday night, and had the car back on Tuesday around 3pm! I honestly don’t even know how they did this so fast. And to top it all off, when the car was finished I told the owner I would be there soon that I was going to take a cab. He told me not to and sent his son to pick me up, soooo nice and saved me about 40 dollars on a taxi ride! This place is awesome. and my car looks better than it ever has! We opted not to get it painted right now, we just wanted it to be able to run so that’s why it is different colors in the pictures. Do not want anyone to think these people didn’t finish their job, because they did awesome and did exactly what we asked for! It looks amazing and we are so happy with it! The service here is amazing! I came in to get the side of my bumper fixed on my Toyota corolla and the two gentlemen decided not to charge me. They’re very nice and professional. If anyone needs to get their bumper fixed I would definitely recommend this place. Now I know who to go to for future fixing!

I found out about Howard and San Diego Bumper & Collision Center through Brian at Henry’s (which is my top favorite mechanics in San Diego).
I took my VW Golf there to fix a bumper that had been damaged in an accident.
It was a Saturday and they were fairly busy but Howard and his son were immediate in acknowledging us and assessing our needs.
Howard laid out several options and prices depending how much I wanted to get done. I really appreciated this as someone who is on a budget and who needs to do things in stages economically.
WE hung out inside as the work was being done and even at one point Howard came and got me to go back into the shop with the mechanic to see the internal damage done to my bumper. I appreciated him allowing me to make informed decisions about what needed to be done about my car.
Hanging out inside was great. They have a small pup that was adorable and complimentary cold water for such a hot day.
I also got a fantastic car wash and detail ON SITE after the work was completed and I drove away super happy about how I had spent my Saturday!

What an Amazing place! Had a huge ding on my bumper and part of the frame was pushed out. I wasn’t sure if it would be fixable or not. I stopped by so that Howard (he’s the best) could check it out and see if it was fixable. He said sure and gave me an estimate. He is very thorough and explained what he would be able to do and how much he would charge. The price he gave me was extremely reasonable and the job they did was Amazing! I was left speechless. The ding was completely pushed back and the frame was pushed back too! I could not believe it! Other places would charge a WHOLE LOT more for the type of work I needed. And they did an Amazing job at an incredibly reasonable price! I am definitely recommending this center for your auto body needs!
side note: They have great car wash services as well. Both interior and exterior services offered. And they have great prices for those too!

There is no word to describe how awesome this place is. Service is top notch at an unbeatable price. Easily the best autobody shop around downtown San Diego. I just got a small scruff on my bmw and Howard let me know the options and took time on my piece like its his. He even threw it a hand wax for free at the end to make mine look clean and fresh. This place deserves 5000 stars. Definitely recommend my friends and family

I could not be happier with not only the results but the service that was provided at this establishment. From the moment I stepped foot in the door I was greeted with the warmest of services by the owner as well as all the employees. The owner, Howard, was honest and straightforward when it came to the repair that was needed for my rear bumper. He worked with me on the price and brought it down a great deal, which showed me that he was just about providing excellent customer service and wasn’t trying to swindle me. My car came out beautifully and it looks brand new! I would definitely bring my car back to Howard and his team!

I found San Diego Bumper & Collision Center through Unilocal and am glad that I did! I had a huge dent in the back of my car (trunk area) and was so upset that I needed to get it fixed. I just moved to SD and was trying to save up money and then of course, the dent happened.
This was the first place I went to to get an estimate on my car. I went to 6 other auto body shops after so I could see which place offered the best deal for me and my car… let me just say… Howard definitely gave the best deal! Car troubles and fixes are super expensive in general but I still saved A LOT of money getting my car fixed here… one of the body shops wanted to charge me 5x more than what I paid here… seriously?! oh heck no!
Howard and his team really seemed to care about my situation and my car. He said that my car needed a lot more work than initially planned but he still charged me the same amount he offered. They even offered me a loaner car during the time my car was getting fixed. I picked up my car two days later and it looked great! I don’t know much about cars but I am happy with the result. They even gave my poor car a much needed wash. I asked about a few marks on my car (made from before) and Howard’s son, Lee (I think that’s how it’s spelled) was so helpful and patient! Him and the other workers there helped me take those marks right off! I would recommend this place to anyone who is in the unfortunate situation of needing their car repaired/​fixed up.
I did not feel like all they wanted was my money, they actually care about their shop, the customers, and the quality of work they provide. Thank you to Howard, Lee, Michael, and the team! I am so glad I came to you guys to get my car fixed!

Thanks for helping my car after my first accident. Howard works hard to make the customer happy. My car was fixed really quick despite all the customers. I would definitely recommend getting bodywork done here!

They do good work and are very friendly. I am usually Leary of going to places that do auto repair and painting as I’ve been jipped before, but their prices are very reasonable and I didn’t feel like they were taking me to the cleaners. They even allowed me to charge my iPhone while I waited. Same day service in some cases. :)

When I first pulled up, all I was thinking was «This Asian guy is wearing a cowboy hat and is speaking to me in a very loud voice.»
Howard and his team have been nothing short of helpful to me since I brought my car in a few weeks ago. After my car got vandalized, I quickly Unilocal’d the closest body shop and brought my car in. They checked my car thoroughly and gave me an estimate.
With everything that happened with my car, I’m just thankful to have chosen this shop. Howard was kind enough to offer me a ride home after leaving my car there and even gave me a loaner car to use for a day while I was still waiting to pick up my car.
My car was repaired efficiently and quickly. They even cleaned up a scratch on my car that wasn’t part of my damages free of charge. My experience here has made me a life-​time customer.

Howard and his team at San Diego Bumper & Collision Center are the BEST in town. I’m either a lousy driver or lousy on luck, but I’ve had to take 3 cars to him in the last 18 months (2014 & 2015) — a new Toyota Prius, a new Nissan and a new GMC SUV (yes, maybe I shouldn’t buy new cars anymore! haha). He’s the most caring and compassionate entrepreneur I’ve ever met, really taking the time to not only explain the damage, but show me. He and his team are incredibly efficient, thorough, and fair! I never feel taken advantage of being a woman with limited knowledge about cars and body work; I always leave his shop more empowered with knowledge, and a clear understanding of the steps we’re going to take. Customer service is not only a saying at SDB&CC, it’s part of their blood line. They do good business, period! I’ll continue to go here and recommend their shop to everyone I know!
