San Diego Fence Installations

San Diego fence installation did a great job on our fence & gates. The recent storm caused some major damage and we were in desperate need. After getting our neighbors to agree on the quote, the work was scheduled for 4 days later. Total installation time was also 4 days. The crew was very pleasant to have around and we’re constantly updating us on the status.
We have recommended them to numerous friends who have commented on how great our new fence looks.

This company did a great job on our new fence. Our neighbors and I couldn’t decide between wood fence or vinyl fence and they did a great job mediating between both of us to get the work done.
We decided on wood and 4 days later all work was completed. We now have a great looking fence that both sides can agree on. If you’re looking for new fences & gates I really suggest you give them a call! Thanks for the great job guys!!!

My neighbor and I were splitting the cost of a fence & gates along our property line. After he contacted a few companies I also did some research. After reading some of the reviews on good old Unilocal I decided to call SD fence along with 2 others. All of the quotes I received were pretty similar in price. The only difference was this company was able to start within 3 days of accepting the job. That was huge for us because some of the other fence companies were scheduling 1 – 3 weeks out! Talked it over with my neighbor and we agreed to hire these guys. The work turned out great, they replaced 80′ of fence & 2 gates in a total of 3 days. On the last day they waited an additional half hour after they finished for us to come home and do a final walk through. Very glad we chose this company.

This company is a joke. They give estimates over the phone without an onsite visit based on google map data. After the initial estimate they never responded despite my repeated attempts to schedule the work. Thanks for wasting my time SAN DIEGO FENCE INSTALLATIONS. You’re customer service is pathetic.

Highly recommend this company if you’re looking to replace your fence & gates. The estimate process was quick and easy. I received an estimate same day after about 15 minutes of discussing my project on the phone with the estimator. We went with a horizontal wood fence for a modern look. The installation came out great. Took about 4 days from start to finish and everyone compliments how great our new fence looks. Would definitely use them again!

Got a new fence & gates after the recent storms damaged a large section of our side fence. Went with a wood fence that was beautifully stained. The estimate was done same day and once we agreed to term they were at our property 3 days later. Quick service and excellent work. Great job on our new fence! We would love to do vinyl fence but since this home will be a rental in a few years we decided to go traditional wood fence & gates. They did 88 feet and the entire job took 3 days from start to finish.
The crew always cleaned up and checked in with us before heading home for the day. At the final walk through there were a few minor details that they over looked but they happily finished them as soon as we spotted them. Thank you SD fence installation!

The recent weather knocked over a portion of our fence. Called a few companies and this one was the quickest to respond. Our insurance was covering all the damage so I wasn’t really looking for the cheapest quote. Either way they came in pretty close to the 2 other companies that came out.
The whole job took 3 days from start to finish. We decided to upgrade last minute to metal posts to avoid having this problem in the future. All the material was already delivered but they gladly exchanged it at our request.
If you’re looking for fences & gates I suggest you give them a call first!

This company is terrible. I am in the middle of a project with them and CANNOT get Jaime, the supervisor” to call me back. It has been 3 weeks and no response to calls or text messages. I am now considering filing a claim in small claims court because they have not completed the work but I have already paid for parts of it. Unbelievable.

I can’t comment on the actual work this company does, but here is why they get 1 star:
–I waited about a week for someone call me back to get an estimate.
— I get an appointment for someone to come out for the estimate, wait at my house during the 3 hour time frame and NO ONE showed up.
–I called the number of the gentleman I spoke to and his voicemail is full.
–no one ever called me to reschedule or apologize for waisting my time.

Great work on my vinyl fence. Loved that they provided a quote over the phone, most companies want to send someone out and when u actually schedule them they show up late or not at all!
As far as the work, they knocked down my wood fence and set the posts in one day, the second day they installed the fence & gates, 3^rd day (half day) was touch ups and cleanup. These guys are very easy to work with.
I’ve referred them to my aunt who needs a new iron fence for her back yard… I will update when that is completed.

These guys did a great job on our custom wrought iron fence. The design process was so easy, they literally can build anything from scratch so we decided to get a little creative. After they sent us a drawing of what the fence would look like, it took about 15 days to fabricate and paint and they installed everything in 1 day.
So glad we chose this fence company, they’re very easy to work with and comparable in price to the others we contacted. We are removing the wood fence and vinyl fence in our back yard and are going to go with iron fence there too. Can’t wait to see the results!

My husband and I needed a fence installed on our back patio for our children’s safety. I inquired for fencing contractors on Unilocal and with their ratings and reviews as they are I contacted them to quote our project. I spoke to Steven, their sales rep, to schedule a site visit.
Jaime came out and met with my husband. We had a quote from Steven within 24 hours. Steven called my phone almost everyday for a week inquiring whether or not we wanted to proceed, I had to let Steven know that my husband would be handling the final since our second child was due any day. Steven respected that and was responsive when my husband contacted him to discuss the specifics of our project.
Steven sent Jaime out to do another measure where they required a 50% deposit for the job to get started. My husband was told by Steven the fencing would be done and installed within the next week. Jaime took our $ 1500.00 check after his final measure and it was deposited within a day or two of them receiving it.
Steven spoke to my husband and said he would schedule installation of our fence for Thursday or Friday and that he would call to schedule on the Tuesday before. Tuesday came and my husband never heard from him.
My husband called him three times on Wednesday before the installation was supposed to take place and never heard from him. I then decided to get involved again and called Steven on Thursday, at which he answered. He told me he was still waiting to hear from paint and should have an answer by mid-day…this is what he told my husband the last time they spoke. I said ok and ask that we touch base around 1pm. At 1pm I had a voicemail from Steven asking me to call him, but never stating the status of our fencing. I returned his call as soon as I received the voicemail and once again we never heard back. Steven’s customer follow-​up in the beginning was good. Once he was awarded the job and had money in the bank we haven’t had a channel of communication from him.
I am a very dissatisfied customer, with no fence, $ 1500.00 out of the bank and more time required to recoup the damages caused. Lastly, I have found no record of their contractors license or a business license, and it looks as though they have a couple businesses running under one address with no licenses to speak of.
TO UPDATE THIS POST, We did hear back from Ceara and Jaime with SD Fence Installations. Steven was removed from the company and Jaime explained how he was working to reconcile our situation.
Jaime scheduled the installers to come out the next day. They had some trouble getting their crew together and starting on time, and told my husband the job would take 2 hours… when in fact they took two days but at least they were there working. There were some minor issues with the install. The two main issues were the crew left scrap metal, some screws and cardboard from painting in the yard and we have a toddler wandering around and the gates opened the wrong way. A crew was at our house to fix these issues the same day we told them. Fast and courteous service!
The initial series of events for this project was unfortunate. I believe Ceara and Jaime did their best with what they had to work with to make sure we were satisfied customers at the end of the job to include a discount for the inconvenience, confusion, and poor initial service. SD Fence Installations did correct their mistakes and we have a fence we are happy with.

Our home needed a new fence installation and we couldn’t decide between a wood fence, vinyl fence, or iron fence. This company blew us away during the bid process. They explained every option, every color and the price difference between all of them. After a few days of deciding we opted to go with a vinyl fence!
Job took them 4 days to custom make the material and 2 days to install everything. The crew was really pleasant to have working on our property. They were always happy and always checking with us to make sure the job was going well. Very satisfied with the results. If you need fences & gates I highly recommend this fence company.

Having a horizontal wood fence just gives our property a beautiful modern look. Very happy with the results. This company is very knowledgeable… they took the time to explain different wood selections, different patterns, and different stain options. Our fence was a little on the pricier side due to the materials we selected but seeing the fences & gates completed made every dollar worth it!
I will be recommending them to a lot of my friends and family! (: great work!!!

We are very happy with the way San Diego fence installations handled our vinyl fence job. This fence company is very easy to deal with, we have had nightmares with contractors in the past and they were the complete opposite. The entire job took about a week, 4 days for the material get custom built and 2 days for the installation. The crew was very nice and respectful during the entire process. If you are looking to get new fences & gates I would highly recommend these guys.

Our horizontal fence looks great! Hired these guys because they’ve already done 2 fences & gates on my street this year. Their work is excellent, and I got to see the samples first hand. They did come in about $ 2 more per foot than another bid I had but they were a lot easier to reach than the other 2 companies that bid. They returned calls sometimes within minutes and I got about 2 follow up emails asking if they could help with anything else during the bid process. The speed and communication is what sold us…
Once the work was completed we hired them to stain the fence and it was just as easy, they dropped off samples, I called and gave the office manager my selection, and 2 days later they were at my property working.
Couldn’t be happier, and we have already recommended this fence company to our parents in North County.

I hired San Diego fence installation because they have done a few fences & gates around my neighborhood. Once I got their contact information from a neighbor, they came out next day to do an estimate. They were reasonably priced and were able to start my fence 2 days after I accepted. the estimator is very knowledgeable. He suggested I use steel posts because it was a high water area. The other fence company didn’t even bother looking at the soil. He showed the difference in cost without trying to up sell me, he was offering an educated solution. Very happy with the work, would happily recommend them to anyone in need of fencing :)

My friend recommended this company since they have done fences & gates for them in the past. I was very pleased with the work they did at our home. The fence installation took 3 days from start to finish.

I spotted this company doing a few fences & gates around my neighborhood. All the fence installations looked great so I grabbed their information for when we were ready to replace ours.
Fast forward 9 months and I was finally ready for a new fence! I called a few other fence contractors along with SD fence to get a better idea of our options. This company wasn’t the cheapest bid we received but it also wasn’t outrageous like a few of the others we got. What allowed them to win the job was the fact that we have seen their work first hand throughout our neighborhood and the fact that they were able to get started sooner than most of the other companies.
We are very pleased with their work! They were able to capture exactly what we were looking for and they finished ahead of schedule.
