Top spot. I use this every week. Great guys, excellent service, ¹⁰⁄₁₀ every time. They bought new vacuums recently more powerful than a Bugatti Veyron!!!

Been here for almost 3 years. Very reasonable for car wash. Friendly staffs and brand new equipments for interior cleaning. I’ll keep coming.

Honestly, just go for the $ 6 (red) car wash. Boyfriend & I upgraded to white ($ 8) and blue ($ 10) on separate occasions and saw absolutely no difference.
If you’re looking for 100% hand wash this isn’t the place to go. Here you will drive your car through the machine. The bristles of the car wash is quite loud (from sitting inside) and feels harsh for the car’s paint (some minor scratches have been visible to our car). If you have a newer car, I wouldn’t recommend this place but for $ 6 bucks and free self-​service vacuuming — I can’t really complain much.

What a MISTAKE!
Not only did it take 5 hours but they left nasty dirty water soaked through out my vehicle, it took over a week to dry and caused a foul odor as well as mold.
I called the next day after the service to complain, I spoke to John, who says he’s the owner about how soaked everything was and how incomplete the job was. He would not even listen to me, he admitted they were short handed the day I was there because nobody had showed up but would not do anything to make things right, he actually started screaming at me.

This place is solid. It is pretty comparable in price to some car washes around here but the level of service sets them apart from the rest. They really make sure they do a thorough job and even when they are busy they are pretty fast. You also get a discount if you pump gas when you get your car washed but I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t need any gas, the gas comes out to about the same as other gas stations near by even with the discount.

Great job cleaning my car! They missed a couple spots vacuuming the inside but overall I’m very pleased. The headlight restoration was amazing!

Got the full detailing. These people are amazing. I spilled oatmeal all over my car and carpets. Waited two days before I went to get my car washed. They were able to get EVERYTHING out even the bits that were completely stuck in between the seats and floor. Would def come back!

I really can’t complain about a easy, convenient and super cheap car wash ($ 6). Plus, I’m able to help out with the drought situation and get my car washed consistently with recycled water. And I don’t even have to lift a finger! Pull up to the payment stand and choose your wash type. There are 3 options: Red ($ 6), White ($ 8), or Blue ($ 10). Once you’ve picked your option, drive out to the back area and follow the worker’s instructions for lining up your front left wheel with the conveyor belt. Make sure to put your car in neutral when you’ve driven onto the belt completely then sit back and enjoy the ride! FREE vacuums await you at the end!
TIPS: (1) The $ 6 wash is all you need as the other options really aren’t worth it. I can vouch for this because one time the cashier gave me a FREE upgrade to the Blue wash just to see if I’d like it. No difference in the end. (2) Bring cash so you can tip the guys who dry your car after your wash. (3) On that vein, also bring some micro-​fiber towels of your own since said guys never dry your car very well.

This car wash has two services 1. People wash and clean your car inside and out 2. Drive through car wash.
Being a poor student and a need for a quick car wash, I chose the $ 6 drive thru car wash. It was exactly what my car needed, and my car turned from grey to white again ! I would come again for the amount of money and time I saved from the super fast drive thru car wash. Yay !!!

Great and speedy service. Maybe I just went at a good time, but then again there is probably a reason this car wash has 4 stars – most car washes are bashed on, on Unilocal.
I initially wanted the $ 30 package but the guy talked me into the $ 40 hand-​washed package (my poor Honda Civic could use some pampering). All the other car wash packages seemed reasonably priced. I was really satisfied with their service and couldn’t not tip the dude a fiver. They even found some sunglasses in my car which I thought were lost forever.
They have a nice air-​conditioned waiting room which has some TV’s and massage chairs (must put money in the chairs though).
I highly recommend this car wash for a quality job.

Best bang for your buck wash in SD. The guys do a great job with the hand dry. Great customer service.

Never in my life have I been so frustrated at the quality of a place until now. I’m usually pretty forgiving when it comes to the service and overall satisfaction of places but after going to Stars & Stripes today to get my car washed, I don’t ever see my come back again.
First off, I’ve been to this place several times with satisfactory results. The prices are low depending on what you get but typically nothing too out of the ordinary. What makes this instance so frustration is their car wash itself added 20+ scratches to my car. Furthermore, these scratches weren’t centralize in one location or anything, they ranged from my back by the license plate to the right tires and to the driver’s door.
If that wasn’t frustrating enough, after I exit their car wash machine and go to area where workers hand dry you car, one of them opens my door and moves my stuff in my car. OKAY, I understand that they open your car to dry off the crevices of your door but I’m not fond of people moving my stuff especially if they don’t even ask. Not only do they not ask but they even proceed to slam my door afterwards. My car isn’t some semi truck, it’s a freakin SUV.
Last but not least, as I proceed to drive away after nearly exploding at their service, one of their «managers» walks in front of my car as I’m driving off. LIKE WHAT?! Are you kidding me? Like I’m moving, how does it make sense to walk in front of a moving car?
Let it be known that although I had satisfactory experiences here before I will NEVER come back to this establishment.

This is actually my go to car wash if I’m in the area. In and out. My car is nice and clean. They even wipe it down when I’m done and I’m on my way.
Free vacuum too!

First impressions right?
First time here, decided to give it a shot since it’s close to work in La Jolla. Paid $ 20 for the «VIP #1» wash, got done with vacuum and car was in line for the exterior wash. Then the machine breaks down!!! What!??
So time passes giving them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they can fix it?
So they don’t, and start washing cars outside with hose and a brush. NOPE, I’m out. California drought much?!!
So I demand a refund and they try to make me stay and I straight up say I don’t like what they’re doing.
Drive off with a mediocre vacuumed car and $ 20 back to my debit card and receipt proof.
NOT COMING BACK. Maintenance people, maintenance.

I got the $ 20 wash. And I can honestly say, I liked my $ 5 carwash at Shell better. The vacuuming and interior wipedown is pretty brief. My car was cleaned inside and out within 20mins. There’s no way they did a quality job. The next day I noticed white watermark stains.
Not coming back. Better off at Shell (only downside would be vacuuming your car yourself).

long story short: car was filthy, came here for a quick $ 6 wash. Got half-@$$ scrubbing before entering the machine and half-​a$$ wipe down by a dude who after putting a fresh palm print on my window opened my car door and wanted tips. really?
but for 6 dollars, what do i expect

Whoohooo and as good as it gets for the price is right! Anything under $ 10 you can do a quick run through for a wash with you in it and vacuum yourself for free, but that won’t get you a wipe down inside and out, and vacuuming. So spend that extra $ 10. They are still remodeling the building the last time was there. There was no waiting area or anything to shade you from the sun.

Been going here for over 2 years. Initially they were the best. They’ve been steadily declining and now hit rock bottom. Spent over a hour just kept rubbing the same spots. Specifically told them to take care of the soft top as they always do, and totally skipped it. Skipped major sections of my jeep with zero attention to anything and I have cotton embedded under the wax. I’m never coming back.
This place is only good for drive through washing and vacuuming your car by yourself.
