This review is for G Beauty. I purchased two facials from Groupon and had my first facial with Gretchen on Saturday. Very personable and competent. My face glowed after my facial. At my age, I’m interested in the anti-​aging facials and I believe my monthly facials are helping me stay as young looking as possible (short of cosmetic surgery). I’m looking forward to my next facial with Gretchen! Highly recommended.

I cannot imagine a more wonderful setting or a more talented, creative, skilled group of hair stylists than those you’ll find at Studio 7. The owner, Roxane, has cut and colored my hair for over twenty years, um… closer to 30, which is amazing. I have very straight, short hair, the kind where a poor haircut/​color simply cannot be disguised. People (including other stylists) constantly approach me – locally and anywhere I travel – and compliment my hair cut and color, and asking where I have my hair done. Over the years I have probably referred dozens of people to Roxane, and many of them have become regular customers. Even though I wear my hair short, I get bored quickly and want to keep my look «fashion forward». It’s fun to switch out my cut and color frequently; in fact Roxane’s talents probably shine the most as a colorist. Her creativity and unwavering attention to detail allow me to just relax and turn her loose, knowing she’ll make me look great. For women in particular, a terrific haircut is a guaranteed confidence booster. I would also like to give a plug to the other stylists at Studio 7 as well. Roxane is the only one I’ve gone to, but as a regular client I get to see the results of the others, Kelly in particular, and am consistently impressed by their professionalism, talent and finesse. Another bonus; Studio 7 is conveniently situated in the midst of an eclectic group of local shops and boutiques on a charming block in West Mission Hills.

Jossette Michelle is amazing! She made time in her schedule to do my hair for my wedding only a few short days before the big day. She came on site for my trial and for the day of. She was so great. She also did my mom’s hair and made changes as my mom requested. She listened to what I wanted and made it perfect. Thanks so much for being part of our day!

Jossette Michelle rocked my hair! I had a terrible hair disaster at another salon and was super worried about letting ANYONE touch my hair again. But, After being recommended to Jossette by a friend and seeing how his hair is always impeccably styled by her, I made an appointment. My hair is not only gorgeous, but luxuriously soft even after it was so very fried.
I highly highly highly recommend Jossette. She takes her time, explains everything and above all listens to your desires and anxieties surrounding styling your hair.

I love Studio 7 in Mission Hills — its in a great location and what a wonderful hair salon.
I have to say that Michelle does a fantastic job at cutting hair (men or women) — she has cut my hair for years and I followed her to Studio 7 to continue getting great haircuts with her She has also cut both my girls hair and they loved getting their hair done by Michelle. Michelle listens to what the client wants and even recommends if a certain haircut isn’t appropriate for your type of hair. She also does an amazing job of coloring.
Michelle also does pedicure and manicures (including Shallacs).
Overall, Michelle is by far the best hairdresser I have ever had and does a great mani/​pedi!
I look forward to always seeing her! She’s the best!

I brought my son in to get his hair «styled» for the first time. It was super important that this cut was done right, as he had a particular «look» in mind, and hereally didn’t know what to expect in a salon. Thankfully, Roxane recommended Studio 7’s newest addition, Jossette Michelle. She was simply amazing as she took care to listen and delivered exactly what my son wanted. My only wish is to have tipped her better!

I just got my hair cut at studio 7 salon by the owner Roxane. I had really long hair and wanted a change. Something short so I could go swimming often at the gym and get in and out quickly. I am so pleased! I didn’t know that my hair could look this cute. I will go as far to say that it is the best haircut that I have ever received! That’s why I came straight home and wrote this review. Also, I would like to point out that as I looked around, I noticed that the other stylists there were putting out some really great haircuts and colors. I highly recommend this salon.

Hope Thompson rocks my world.
I missed my appointment with her… boo…my bad.
So I went somewhere else who thought they knew the cut she does for me.
Hope took the time to fix it and get it looking the way I love it.

The stairs getting up there are a bitch. So if you have any special needs with regards to stairs… sadly this won’t be your cup of tea. But, if you make it up the stairs and see Hope she will fix you a yummy cup of tea… iced or hot. I get mine iced and it’s delightful.

I have followed Cynthia all over town for the past 30 years. She’s been at Studio 7 Salon for quite a while now, and it’s a beautiful fit. The salon itself has old world charm, nestled in the business district of Mission Hills.
Cynthia has intuitive knowledge of hair, and has never given me a bad cut or color. In fact, everyone always raves about my hair. Even other stylists!
Although I live in Poway, I’d travel twice as far if needed!

A long awaited update, cheers to Studio 7 Salon for making my hair for my wedding look amazing! It was refreshing to have such a talented stylist like Kayla be the one to put my look together! Getting ready for a big event in a calming atmosphere before hand definitely helped kick any nerves!

Studio 7 is a cute little salon in mission hills, easy enough to find, cozy and inviting. Tea lights, rugs and cute sitting chairs are just a few of the cozy touches that Studio 7 has to offer. The salon is set up for three stylists, there is no esthetician, no massage therapist, no drama, just a group of extremely talented stylists.
I have been seeing Hope for over 3 years, I used to see her when she was at Savvy Hair Salon, but she has since relocated to Studio 7 and it seems to be a much better fit.
Hope is very talented and I am extremely picky about my hair. I won’t let anyone else touch it. The most amazing thing is that she can remember a cut that she did a few months earlier, even if you have gotten different haircuts since that one, and she can replicate it if you liked it the best.
I always feel as though I receive the best customer service, she really dedicates her time to my hair and my satisfaction. If there is anything I didn’t like, she wants to know so she can improve the cut for my liking.
Hope is also a color specialist. She has done color for me a few times and the thing that i like the most is that she is great at doing non-​traditional color. I have dark hair and don’t like the way that traditional highlights grow out in my hair so she colors underneath my hair and layers the middle with color just so it perfectly shows in my layers. I have also seen some of her highlight clients and they have beautiful non-​damaged hair with a fine weave.
And if i wasn’t already happy enough, Studio 7 has an amazing tea collection if you are waiting for your appointment, color to process, or just to sip while relaxing.

I couldn’t imagine a salon better fitted for my liking, Studio 7 salon just seems to have the complete package:) The location is great. it’s located in a nice quaint area off of Lewis St. with a beautiful view right outside the windows. The salon is adorable and has a peaceful/​homely environment. The women who work there are not only amazing hair stylists but also very down to earth, kind, and fun. They make your time in the salon more than enjoyable.
I went to Studio 7 to get the tree braid extensions from Hope. who gave me hope for my hair which was in bad condition. I’ve had long hair my entire life and about a year ago I got the fusion extensions because I wanted to let my natural hair grow and stop damaging it while I had the extensions in. But i didn’t know that the fusions were going to do the opposite effect to me. Two weeks after getting the fusions my hair was in one huge dread and was being ripped and pulled out of my head. I was left with so many bald spots and my hair didn’t even appear like mine. I was bald in my book. That is why I am so thankful for Hope and the tree braid extensions because its all natural and not damaging to your hair at all. I love it, I can still do everything the same with this hair as if it were truly my own hair. and it feels and looks just like it is my own. Another plus to this hair is that you can get it wavy or straight. I chose wavy because that’s how my hair naturally is, so when i get out of the shower I have a gorgeous natural beachy looking wave, or I can blow dry it straight if I want something different. My friends can’t believe how great it looks and what a wonderful method of extensions it is and i honestly couldn’t be happier with the outcome:)
