Not impressed. Initially I booked this when I was booking my flights for a vacation in San Diego. Unfortunately I did not realize that I actually had to physically print out the voucher and could not just use the copy on my phone, causing us to pay twice for the first shuttle from the airport to our hotel. It was my bad so it was not a big deal but I do wish they had been a little more motivated to help me and let me print the voucher off their printer. The driver ended up not being friendly at all. We were the only ones in the van and we sat in silence the whole way to our hotel. Fast forward to the end of our vacation when we were leaving. I decided to use the service again to transport us from the hotel to the airport. They arrived on time but again the driver was very unfriendly and seemed aggravated that he had to wait for us to get in the van. He drove incredibly recklessly in rush hour traffic, swerving in and out of lanes and was honking at other drivers several times. Needless to say between both experiences I will not be using them again.

Heading for the airport after a wonderful week in San Diego. They called to say they would be 10 minutes late… but assured us that there would be NO stops before the airport. No problem, we said… we had planned for this sort of thing. Then got an auto-​message that it would be yet another 15 minutes. We called and the dispatch said not to worry… they were almost there. Just as we were going to cancel (after another 10 minutes) they got there… and guess what??? He had to drop someone off who was «on the way.»
We may be tourists, but we do have maps on our phones. The drop off was in the opposite direction… he drove 10 minutes to the drop off, and 10 minutes back to our starting point.
So… KNOWING that he was late… KNOWING that he was more late… he decided to break his promise and make us VERY late. Not ok.
On top of this, my husband’s seatbelt did not work. The driver did not seem at all surprised when we had to stop the car so he could get out and go to the back of the van to find a seatbelt that worked.
This is why alternative transportation modes are catching on. Just take Über/​Lyft or even a taxi– and know exactly when they are arriving. This was a nightmare… but we DID make our flight… so happy for that!

The shuttle service was great. I will definitely go with them next time. All my worries of finding a friend for drop off and pick up from airport are gone, thanks to super shuttle!

From our driver badgering me to get going 10 minutes before my scheduled pick up time when I was still waiting on someone. To the awful awful awful driving, first and last time I’ll use super shuttle.

I was very apprehensive about using a shuttle to and from the airport. I made my reservations on Shuttlefare with no problem.
My experience to/​from the airport was a pleasant surprise. Prompt, courteous, and efficient. I like that!!! Would take them again.

The drivers were on time, drove safely, and were friendly. The price was the best. I highly recommend it.

My flight arrived at SAN airport around 11pm, and I had pre-​paid for SuperShuttle service. I was very pleased with the online check in process, and happy that an employee was readily available at the shuttle stop at the terminal. The driver arrived quickly and delivered all passengers safely to our destinations. Definitely recommend for downtown locations. Quick, effortless, affordable!

What an inconsiderate system they run.
15 minutes after my scheduled pick-​up window ended I got a call to let me know when my shuttle would be here. The time stated was the time on my watch just then. So I asked, do you mean now? Well, she replied, between now and 15 minutes from now. Another 25 minutes went by before I got an automated call telling me my driver would arrive in 5 minutes — and get this — out of courtesy to other passengers would I please be sure to be ready? What the heck do they think I have been doing for the last hour?
How about out of courtesy to your passengers, YOU treat US better? You wasted nearly an hour of my time. I would much rather have taken the city bus.
This experience followed an equally ineffective experience trying to use their automated phone system last night where I responded by pressing the numbered options they gave me only to be told ‘I’m sorry, that is not a valid option’.
How many years have you guys been in this business?
The only reason for 2 stars rather than only 1 is that the driver was ok… Once he arrived.

Super Shuttle picked us up for an international flight at 3:30 a.m. The driver was prompt and helped us with our luggage. I love the text messages updating us on his arrival. When we returned to San Diego we had our shuttle pre-​arranged and the driver was waiting for us. We had two another passenger in the van with us and it was nice to hold friendly conversation with other travelers. We were all delivered to our destination in a timely fashion and the driver was very professional. We have always driven to the airport and paid for LT parking, it is expensive and a hassle. The Super Shuttle is the way to go and we will always use them in the future, they are EXTREMELY affordable, great customer service and dependable.

Oh, supershuttle. Your early morning drivers to the airport are awesome. They’re prompt, courteous, and helpful. Their driving doesn’t make me sick. They get me to the airport on time or even earlier than expected. Your afternoon drivers from the airport, on the other hand, could do a lot better.
Why, Mr. Afternoon Driver, would you leave the windows open when it’s hotter than Texas outside? Why, Mr. Afternoon Driver, would you not listen to someone when they’re giving you directions to their own house? Why, Mr. Afternoon Driver, would you not have a working printer to print out receipts? Why, Mr. Afternoon Driver, does your driving make me sick? Don’t tell me it’s because it’s a van. I know what it’s like to be in a rough and tumble jeep. It doesn’t make me dizzy like your driving does.
4 stars for the awesome morning driver and –2 stars for Mr. Afternoon Driver. If you’re looking for a ride back home from the airport, just pay the extra airport pickup fee and take an über. I know I will.

I can’t believe I never thought to use shuttle service before. The website was super easy to use (even on my phone), the driver was on time and safe, and he took me straight to my airline. All for about the same price I planned to pay for a taxi. Just the fact that all this happened at 3:45 am was phenomenal. I will use them every time I’m flying just to save my wife the trouble of dealing with the airport.

No more waiting in a check point with everyone. Now a much needed Cross Border Xpress for only airline customers and their own check point.
Why drive an worry about parking… Super Shuttle has up to 9 passenger and vans with plenty of room for luggage. They can drop you off and pick you up on U.S. side just in front of Cross Border Xpress.

The shuttle was included as part of a conference registration. We were in a pretty remote area, so the fee was high but within the parameters of reason.
The driver was personable, helpful, and chatty.
The van was a bit older and had that «old» smell and some rips in the seats, but was reasonably clean.
Service was timely. He was actually early, but sent a text message that he was there. I found this to be a great extra. I was inside a giant casino, so the text message was awesome.
The driver called me by name when I came outside, introduced himself, and confirmed my destination. He was a safe driver who took us to the airport, right to our respective gates. He helped us load and unload our bags and was very gracious.

They were polite and prompt, but if you want more than 3 stars you’re going to have to go out of your way to exceed the average.
A customer asks about discounts, don’t just tell them that the only way is to prepurchsse a round trip… offer to sell them the round trip right then for the discounted price.
I don’t have to use you as my return transportation to the airport at the end of the week. Show me you want my business!

I reserved a shuttle for 5:55 am. When the shuttle did not show up by 6:20, I called customer service and was told that the shuttle had arrived, called three times and left. My husband and I had been waiting outside since 5:50 and my phone did not show any missed calls so I am not sure what happened. I asked if the shuttle could come back and was told no because we were a «no show».
I was very distraught as my flight was leaving at 8:05. We were forced to call a cab and did not arrive at the airport until 7:20 which barely left enough time to catch the flight.
On top of all this I was given a hard time and had to be on the phone for an hour with their customer service reps who refused to refund my card and offered a voucher for a service that I will not be using again.
Do not use Cloud 9 shuttle!!!

I took SuperShuttle to the airport the day before Thanksgiving and was scheduled for the 5:45am pick up.
The driver was very nice and arrived on time. She even arrived a few minutes early and was looking for my house with a flashlight because it was still dark out.
She was a safe driver and got me to the airport on time!

I booked Super Shuttle online on the morning of my flight out of San Diego. The booking went smoothly and got a confirmation number. I was scheduled to be picked up between 4:05 pm and 4:20 pm from Hotel Del Coronado. I left my husband’s hotel room at 4 and when I got to the pick up area, my shuttle was already there waiting for me! Nice that I didn’t have to wait. He loaded my luggage and waited until I got some change for a $ 20. The ride went smoothly and 15 minutes later I was at the airport. I was the only pick up.
The value is great. $ 16 for a ride. Had my husband been with me, we would have taken a cab ride, but since I was flying back home on my own a day earlier than him, it was half price to take the shuttle to the airport. I would definitely take Super Shuttle again to and from the airport.

I live close to the airport so have always cabbed it, for around $ 16 after tip.
Never again will I have to deal with creepy or inappropriate cabbies!
SuperShuttle is a way better option if you live downtown. Only $ 8 one way when I get picked up and dropped off at one of the downtown hotels. If I had requested a ride directly from my residence it would have been $ 12 even though I’m across the street from the hotel.
This week I did a roundtrip booking online and got 10% off (go to SuperShuttle’s page on Unilocal on your phone for the coupon code or Google it) and was able to add in my tip so everything was prepaid.
I also recently took it one way from the airport with no reservation and it was quick, easy and cheap.
The shuttle drivers were incredibly friendly on all three rides to/​from the airport. There was a snafu last week when the driver arrived a few minutes ahead of the 15-​minute pickup window (if you request a 5:30AM ride, you have to be ready to go and waiting at 5:15AM), and left without me. I called SuperShuttle and they said he would come back to get me and he did in about 10 minutes. The driver apologized a lot, telling me that the other rider had been yelling at him about being late for her flight, so he took her immediately to the airport rather than waiting the three minutes it took me to go downstairs.
Going from airport to home, I had a reservation and it didn’t matter that my luggage arriving in baggage claim made me late. You just show up at the shuttle kiosk and they look up your reservation and assign you to a numbered vehicle. They then text you updates on your cell phone, which is very helpful.
Usually shared ride shuttles take a long time because there are many drop offs/​pick ups but because I live downtown, it was almost quicker than a cab. I did, however, have to wait probably 15 – 20 minutes for the shuttle for my airport-​to-​home reservation.
