Top Care Auto Center

I came across this place online and notice that they have very good rates on their alignment so I decided to drive a little further to Top car auto for an alignment. When I arrived I was told that my car would be ready in an hour. The staff seemed nice and I felt that was good turn around time so I left my car for an alignment. This was my second time coming to this shop and for the second time they pulled the bait and switch on me.
BEWARE because they claim that they align you car, then they tell you what is wrong with your vehicle so that they can charge you double the price or more that what you would pay at another auto shop. I have worked at auto mechanic shop and an honest mechanic will tell you want is wrong with your vehicle before he begins working on it on.
Aside from charging ridiculously high price on their service they over price the parts that they install on the vehicles, When I called other auto parts store I notice that they double and sometime even triple the price on the part that they use, so that they can charge even more. I feel that the Top care auto is very dishonest in how they run and get their business.
Beware of this auto shop.

Best place to get your car worked on! They do it all for a great price and the service is outstanding! I have been coming here for years and my entire family gets their cars worked on and serviced here. Gabriel and Jr. are stand up honest guys who do a fantastic job every time.

Very disappointed in their service. I found them through Tirerack to install my new tires that I bought on Tirerack. Prices were good and they are close to my office.
1^st issue: I called them on Thursday when Tirerack said that it was scheduled for delivery. They said that they will call me when it arrives. No call on Thursday. I figured maybe delivery was
late so I called on Friday and they said it was there. I didn’t bother to ask why they didn’t call me back and just figured I’d schedule install. They said they can do it Monday morning. Great.
I come by and drop off the car. They are very lackadaisical there and whoever took my car in barely took interest in me and I didn’t know if I was talking to the janitor or the mechanic. He told me to fill out a form and took my keys. Ok… He told me to come back in 90 minutes. Ok. So I wandered off to the local shops and walked about for a bit. I asked for the 4 tire install, balance, and 2 wheel alignment. All for about $ 95 with tax.
THE PROBLEM STARTS HERE. I pick up the car and drive it home. It feels nice on the new tires but oddly the car seems to feel like there is a heavy wind blowing on it and the car will move laterally when driving at highway speeds. It almost felt unsafe to drive. I called them later in the week to complain and say that it feels funny. They told me to bring it back in. I did and he doesn’t even look at the car before he says it’s the tires’s fault and they can’t do anything about it. They told me to call Tirerack or Honda and see if they know how to fix it. I asked him if he could rotate the back tires to the front to see if it was a bad tire that was causing it.
The car was fine before the tire change so I wasn’t 100% sure what was causing it. So I got researching it on the internet. I didn’t think it was a suspension thing since the car was a 2012 and fairly new. The only possible thing it could have been was the alignment that these idiots did. So I Googled ways to do alignments at home and found some good videos that show you how to do it with a taut string.
Looking at how they did the alignment, it was obvious to me now that I was looking for it. They totally made it toe out with both front tires pointing outward by a few degrees. It was visible to the naked eye, and when measured with a string that was perpendicular with the rear wheels (which are on an axle and straight), it was obvious to see how off they were. I adjusted the arm that controls the side to side rotation of the front wheels and I could feel the difference already! I felt that it was now much safer to drive it and I will be taking the car to someone else that I trust to align it correctly.
DO NOT TRUST THESE IDIOTS WITH YOUR CAR. THEY ARE CARELESS AND EVEN WHEN I BROUGHT THE CAR BACK FOR THEM TO LOOK AT IT AND DIAGNOSE IT, THEY DID NOT EVEN BOTHER TO LOOK AT THE CAR BEFORE THEY RENOUNCED ALL RESPONSIBILITY JUST SO THEY DIDN’T HAVE TO DO THE WORK. THERE ARE BETTER CAR CARE COMPANIES OUT THERE, DO NOT TRUST YOUR CAR TO THESE GUYS.
11−25−14 update:
I found Clarence Brown Alignment nearby and will be taking it to them today to see if these guys can do a better job.

These guys are legit. Just needed an alignment but explained that there was a slight problem with the truck being to low in the front. They levelled it out gave the alignment and its only costing me $ 90. Yea if you need work done check these guys out.

Inexperienced and they assume you know nothing. Car had camber and caster adjustable but he tried telling me I needed to buy a camber kit. Not coming here again.

Gabriele gave me great service (drove me to a restaurant so I could comfortably wait), and the best price in town. Thanks Top Care Auto!

They aligned my ’71 Ghia for half what everyone else wanted, and they did a great job! I definitely recommend them!

I had Tire Rack tires shipped to and installed by Top Care. First, of all, you do need to make them honor the quoted price from Tire Rack. I do suspect they intentionally quote/​advertise lower than thy bill you when time comes to pay. That being said, I had them quote the price prior to installation and when confronted with the Tire Rack price, adjusted the bill. They called to notify that my tires had arrived, and provided courtesy calls to confirm of my car had TPMS, as well as another to notify the job was complete. I was rung up by the shop head Gabriel who was congenial and seemed to know his way around cars when we started talking shop. The wheels and tires were installed well, with the old set carefully stowed in the back of my hatchback. Wheels were wiped clean of that goop they use to make installation easier an tires were coated in tire black. Even looked like my red brake calipers were wiped down. Four stars because they seem to be an earnest, small business; 1 star off for their pricing.
FYI– the price for installation they first gave was not unacceptable, but noticeably more than advertised.

I first found these guys through Tire Rack. My truck would not take an alignment, so a simple tire installation turned into new bilsteins and tire rod ends. They then leveled my truck, taking the time to work on it as if it were their own. That was two years ago. I went back recently for more front end work, this time pitman, idler arm and bracket and another alignment. They have the latest equipment, do great work, take the the to explain and show you what is going on. This is doing business locally, no corporate bs, wait behind this line, talk to a service writer, cannot talk to the mechanic; f-​that. I want to be involved. I now have moog components, truck drives like its on rails and all for a great price.

I’ll have to change my rating to 1 star. They didn’t take care of my car. My car has side skirts. It was damage when the car backed out of the hydraulic rack. They should have use boards. I took pictures of my car when it was up on the rack and it clearly shows no damages. I didn’t discover the damage till I went home to wash my car. Also they left it pretty dirty, greased up my car mats and scratch up my the door sill with their shoes. I went to talk to Gabriel and he said he didn’t do it. They were not going to repair it. So I decided not to pursue it, cause I like those guys. So be warn. You’ll get what you pay for, I recommend a cleaner, better shop like Greenlight auto repair. Thanks for reading this

Similar to another reviewer on here, I was referred to this shop as a
customer. I was told by Tirerack they would call me to schedule an appointment, but that never happened. When I showed up they did a fairly quick install, though I found it odd they needed the tool from my trunk to get the caps off the lugs on my car (wouldn’t you think an auto mechanic might have the $ 5 tool laying around?). The real kicker came when it was time to check out. They immediately tried to charge me $ 30 more than I had been quoted online. After a brief argument they agreed to charge me the original price, but the damage was done at that point. So as I drive away I realize my key to the lug caps was never returned and I had to return to get it (super annoyed at this point). Finally when I get home I check the pressure in my tires and they were all almost 20 PSI off. I can’t decide if they intentionally do that to wear your tires our faster, or if it was just plain shoddy workmanship. Either way this place is a disaster.

There work is quality, personality and kindness is all in there name. Top Care. This family run Auto Center is the way to go. Its Good work done Right and done pretty damn fast too. The prices are not bad either. Especially when you consider some of the prices for repair these days and with gas. Yikes! If you want quality work done right fast and people who know what they are doing Top Care Auto Center is the only way to go.

Called and spoke to the owner about installing custom parts for my Mustang GT, owner said no problem come on down. it was a caster camber kit which helps you align a vehicle thats been lowered. work was done quickly and i was out the door, wait not so fast, had severe clunking as i drove, i came back an they gave me every excuse on why it was my parts. Well if he would have looked at the instructions then he would have figured it out, i had to really dig to get them to even commit to trying to fix it later. He offered for me to make a bushing myself and come back monday and he would try to fix it. Screw it lesson learned i took it to a REAL suspension shop and they found that the bolts were stripped and the spacers were installed incorrectly. Part was ruined so 420 bucks down the crapper, and i had to pay for it all over again. Lesson learned you get what you pay for. Nice guys but it did not work for me and i dont wanna argue about anyone assuming responsibility.

Top Care has been repairing and servicing my families vehicles since they opened a few years ago. They always do a good job for a reasonable price. They dont try to upsell anything. I have recommended Top Care to many friends and co-​workers, all of which were happy with there service.

The truth about this place is somewhere between the two posted here at the time of my review.
Had my
tires shipped here since they are a recommended installer. I had first called the place and asked about alignment prices: I remember the prices because I was shocked by how good they were: «$ 39 for 4 wheel, and $ 29 for 2.» Not knowing which I needed… didn’t matter that is a great price.
Price was great for install and such as well on tirerack.com’s price guarantee for this shop (the price the shop says they charge).
I visited the shop and found the family run business to be as pleasant in person as on the phone. All i can say is I had a nice feeling about the place and the people. They are easy to deal with and quick.
I struggled with giving the 2 or 3 stars, and in reality if it weren’t for what happened when it came time to pay I’d have given them 5 stars.
At checkout the prices didn’t seem close to the
price and they knew that was how I got there. I inquired to a puzzled staff. Then I showed them the verification email on my PC from
. They adjusted the price. The alignment came to $ 49. I told the young woman about our conversation (the conversation I had with her on the phone actually). She defended saying the $ 39 price was for trucks. But that was not what she told me. She never mentioned $ 49.
So is this a mistake? Or does this shop intentionally low ball? I’m concerned because they didn’t seem concerned about the
price, they quickly and quietly changed it. I’d be willing to be though, that they didn’t notifiy tirerack that the prices are wrong on their website and that most customers have the same experience. I’m also suspicious that they know quoting the alignment the way they do gets more people in the door. After all…$ 49 is still a good price, who’s gonna complain? But in reality, I’d like to be treated honestly and get a fair quote that is the same when I go to pay unless there is different work performed.

This is my regular mechanic. I randomly stumbled upon this place after getting a smog next door, 4 years ago I refer all my friends to Top Care for good reason. They are knowledgable, honest and do great work.
Just the other week I took my girlfriends car there after she got the run around fromthe Toyota dealership. They told her that the a/​c was assembled wrong and breaks were bad. The quote was over 1k. Top Care added freeon to the ac and rersurfaced the rotors. All done for under 200 and the car works perfect.

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE service. I mistakenly had this place change my tires last year and they broke my tire pressure monitoring system… they at least fixed that and I thought then my worries were over with this place. I would have given them 3 stars then. But I just went to change my brakes and went to loosen the lug nuts, when I found quite the problem. This shop had tightened my lug nuts to BEYOND specs. When I went to loosen the wheel lock lug, they top thread SNAPPED… would NOT have happened had this place not tightened my lug nuts so much.
Stay WELL away from this place!
