We specialize in Boudoir, Intimate, Sexy, Glamour, Lingerie, and Pregnancy Photography for Women. We are a private boutique studio, owned and operated by Women.

The Photo Session consists of a two hour shoot that includes a change of three different outfits. Meg uses subtle lighting within a relaxed and very private atmosphere with a lot of variety in posing. Three different backgrounds can be used to convey the emotion and mood perfect for each outfit. During the pre-​photo session consultation we can discuss exactly what you are looking for and just what type of mood you would like to set. The possibilities are endless with options such as Pin-​up art, glamour, or artistic nudes.

Established in 2005.

With a graduate degree from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, Meg has been creating beautiful images of women for the last seven years in the southern california area. I had my first boudoir photo shoot with Meg today and I am happy to say that the experience was so enjoyable. I was a little nervous, but Meg made me feel like I was at home with a girlfriend. Her studio is perfect! The ambience is private and clean. She lets you use her beautiful jewelry! Meg was great at directing me. I am so excited to see my pics! Every woman should go see Meg :-)

Met this wonderful woman through Groupon and my gosh I’m sure glad I did! Had some fabulous pictures taken for my boyfriend who’s a marine deployed overseas and he absolutely loved them. Was literally speechless. Had my make up done and had her accessorize and help pose me and she’s just beyond amazing. So professional and so sweet throughout the entire process! Worth every penny! Invest in a good photographer, you won’t be disappointed!

There is absolutely nothing negative to say about the experience I have with valentine studios and Meg.
I bought a groupon on a whim and figured my boyfriend would love it (plus… I could have the photos in the future for when I’m old to remember that i look good)! If you couldn’t guess yet, yes I am talking about her boudoir photo sessions. Now… I was not comfortable and extremely shy about the whole experience at first. It took a lot of courage and fabulous encouragement from my friends to just do it and call.
From the moment I called, Meg brought a lot of comfort to me and reassurance that she has been doing this for a long time. She worked with my crazy schedule and we finally got something in the books.
She has you bring in a few of your own outfits and do your own hair. I preferred it that way because everyones hair is different. She did a great job on my make up and yes… thank you for the fake lash suggestion!!! They were fabulous!!! She helped me to coordinate which outfits to use and were best (I would bring extra in case you can’t decide).
Just talking to her about life, her experience, and how she got to where she is today… Made it comforting and more fun!!! Overall she is a wonderful individual and I find her entrepreneurship inspiring! :)
During the photo shoot I laughed and told jokes much of the time, that is my nervous tick. She made it fun along the way and told me exactly how to pose and staged it perfectly. She would show me the photos while shooting to show me… «Girl you look good!»
After I saw the photos… I was just in awe… The lighting, make up, and how I looked… Stunning!!! I believe EVERY woman should do this once in their life while they still can!!! I bought the USB of all of the photos because they were too good to decide on 3. So now… My man has a gift in piece meals for the next year ;)
Overall, Meg is fabulous and I KNOW she will continue to excel in her photography! The photos are worth every penny and the experience will absolutely make you feel good and confident about your appearance.

I had so much fun doing this shoot! Meg is a very cool person, talented and a wiz with a makeup brush. I felt super sexy, yet comfortable and relaxed, borrowing one of her boostiers, jewelry, and shoes to enhance my lingerie. She is fun to chat with, and gave me great poses and pointers to get some amazing photos. She had three different «sets,» which makes for a nice variety. There were so many good ones, we had trouble narrowing them down!
We just had a baby daughter 6 months prior to the shoot, and I wanted to revive the romance, since our focus had been so much on baby. I chose 5 to give to my husband for Valentine’s Day, and I leaked them slowly at dinner in a nice restaurant, and he ended up smooching me a loooong I-don’t-care-who’s-watching smooch, so I guess he liked them! I saved the best one for when we got home, and it had the desired result as well. ;-)

After having my photoshoot done by Meg a few weeks ago, I can concur with all the other reviews. Meg is absolutely amazing! She’s professional, personable, and knows what she’s doing from A to Z.
Every woman should feel sexy about themselves and Meg does a wonderful job of capturing this. When my photoshoot was booked, I was definitely nervous. I wasn’t sure how I was going to pull off the sexy look. When I first arrived in studio I was amazed to find out that it was a one woman show. Meg does everything from make-​up, styling (wardrobe changes), photography, and touch-​ups. Before anything is started, she’ll work with you on your outfits. Bring anything that you want to use in the photo shoot, but she also has other goodies you can use such as corsets, thigh highs, jewelry, heels, and other fun things. After selecting my outfits, Meg started on my make-​up. Meg did my make-​up in a very classy-​sexy manner where after it was done, I was already beginning to embrace the «sexy». Throughout the photoshoot Meg made me feel extremely comfortable and coached me through all the poses. I personally have imperfections, but Meg never made me feel ashamed or embarrassed. I’m amazed at what Meg can do with a camera. She knows what looks good and what doesn’t and will coach you accordingly to make sure you get the best possible look. Our photo shoot went over the expected time frame, but at no point did she rush me. At different points she would show me some of the pictures on camera and I was amazed at how the raw photos looked. I can’t wait to see the finished product!
If you’re looking to do a boudoir photo shoot, Valentine Studios is the way to go. I’ve been recommending them to every woman I know!

Meg is amazing! She is so sweet and professional and knows exactly how to get a woman to loosen up and unleash her sassy side. My husband had been asking me to do boudoir photos for him for a while and it is not really in my personality to do sexy pictures — but the experience was awesome. The photos are amazing and just the right combination of sexy, classy and fun. I have given Meg’s card to every woman I know because any woman can get a confidence boost seeing themselves like a Victoria’s Secret model for the day. I was beyond nervous to do my boudoir photo shoot for my boyfriend’s valentine’s day gift but the second I walked into the studio Meg made me feel at ease and soooo comfortable. The studio is all yours during your shoot so it is very private and you feel right at home. I have never been good at making «sexy faces» or «acting sexy» for that matter but she made me feel like a pro! Her advice on everything was so perfect that it took all the thinking and second guessing out of it. Meg showed me a couple of pictures just right off the camera and my thought was «holy crap that’s me?!» Plus, my makeup looked so good I couldn’t waste it so I had my boyfriend take me out to dinner that night haha. I walked out of my session thinking all women should do this, not just for their husbands or boyfriends but for themselves cause it felt so empowering. I can’t wait to see my final pictures.

My girlfriend recently took boudoir pictures with Meg as a surprise for our anniversary. The pictures came out AMAZING. I’ve never seen this side of my girlfriend and I am so thankful for Meg for capturing this side of her. When I went to the viewing of the pictures, not only was I impressed with Meg’s talent but was also impressed with her professionalism and sense of humor. My girlfriend goes on and on about how Meg made her feel very comfortable, even to do topless shots, which I am also thankful to Meg for. I booked a boudoir photo shoot with Valentine Studios as a gift for my husband for our anniversary. I felt a little reserved going into it but Meg makes you feel SO comfortable right from the moment you walk in the door. She did an amazing job on my makeup and she made me feel sexy yet completely comfortable during the photo shoot. Best of all, the pictures were absolutely incredible — not only is she super friendly but she is an amazing photographer! It’s hard to describe accurately just how much I ADORE Meg and her talents… I have just gotten my 2nd set of photos from her and I want to share them with the entire planet but they are *ahem* a wee bit too racy to post here on Unilocal!
Or Facebook. Or anywhere public. Hehe… I’m not shy and some are downright artistic and magazine spread worthy dang it!!! It actually kills me how few people I can share these amazing photos with!
I keep marveling at how wonderful they turned out, and it made me re-​live the experience all over again! I am from Cerritos and the drive to San Diego was well worth it! I got my hair done earlier that day and she does all your makeup and looks over what you have brought and mixed it up with all her fun accessories and shoes and cute outfits (I was in love with the wings. could barely stand to take them off!)
All I can say is… every woman needs to do this at least once in their life. I felt like a rock star, a victoria secret angel, goddess, temptress, naughty minx, innocent maiden, and everything else in between! After my photo shoot I walked out of there all giddy and my euphoric state lasted pretty much all dang day… and I am eager to do a 3rd set!
I did a set at 32, and now at 34… and my goal is to do my final one at 36!
WORTH EVERY PENNY. Amazing experience. Can’t rave enough about her and her work!
One thing to note… I took these not for my hubby but for myself. I can’t wait until I’m 80 and look back and see that I was a hot tamale!!!
I have showed my photos to all my girlfriends and each one pretty much have plans to go make the trek down to San Diego to take pics with Meg too!
What’s wonderful about this whole thing is that the focus isn’t about your flaws at all, it’s pretty much a celebration of YOU! There is beauty in every woman, all shapes and sizes, and Meg is excellent at highlighting your best assets and making sure to minimize any imperfections (imaginary and real) and for that I am most grateful~

Megan is awesome! Loved her style and all the pictures. 1st time taking pictures in lingerie. Megan is wonderful she makes you feel pretty, sexy & confident while posing for the camera. It’s really private is just you and her, unless you want to bring someone with you then it’s up to you. Picking the perfect pictures for my husband was a piece of cake, since Megan know exactly what men love to see. Showed my pictures to my girlfriends & the all want to come to Megan, for their sexy pictures. Pricing wise is worth it. I am definitely coming back. Megan rocks!!!

I’m pregnant and have been feeling like a beached whale; but at the same token, I really wanted some professional photos to memorialize my pregnancy. I’m SOoooo happy that I chose Valentine Studios for this service! Meg’s personality immediately put me at ease, which is an amazing skill considering how vulnerable a person could otherwise feel when baring your body in full light with a camera in front of you. That said, I was really surprised at how quickly and easily we breezed through hundreds of camera clicks… and later, I was even more surprised at how many GREAT photos I had to choose from… especially since I don’t usually think that I look good in photos. I’m so grateful to Meg for helping me have such a great experience, and fantastic photos to last a lifetime!

Did a photoshoot a couple years back for my 26th birthday at Meg’s old studio in Pasadena, and let me tell you — it was worth every penny! She is an AMAZING photographer who will help bring out your inner sexiness, leaving you feeling beautiful and confident in your own skin.
Like a true professional, she understands your wants and concerns and will work with you every step of the way to ensure that only the most fabulous pictures will come out!
Will definitely make the long drive down to San Diego to do another one soon. And you should, too — trust me, you won’t regret it!

I first hired Valentine Studios to do my business headshots. I just liked Megs demeanor and even though she was networking her sexy photography sessions I asked her if she could do my professionals ones. She did an amazing job, I don’t find myself to be comfortable around the camera or all that photogenic. She somehow made me feel stronger and more confident. She even coached me a little on my wardrobe choices. Once the shoot was over and I had had to choose my shots I was shocked! I liked so many of them. Once I chose my favorites she spent some time doing minor touch-​ups to make them look even more fabulous. Wow, is that me? It does look like me, just on my very best day!
After the positive experience with that photoshoot I did a very odd thing for me. I scheduled a sexy photoshoot (can’t spell what it is really called). I felt so comfortable and at ease. It was amazing! It actually really helped my confidence and was almost a breakthrough moment for me with all my «insecurities». Again, feeling confident, beautiful, and strong. When I went back to go look at the photos I couldn’t believe my eyes. I couldn’t decide on just a few, I needed them all. I ended up purchasing the entire amount on CD. Whenever I need a little self confidence pick me up I now have these to go look at. Thank you Meg, you helped change how I feel about myself. You do an AMAZING job. I never thought I would do photos like this. I would recommend this to any woman. Embrace your beauty whether you realize you have it or not, Meg see’s it and will show you how to see it too.
