We specialize in repair and installation of most major home appliances including Refrigerators, Washers, Dryers, Ovens and Dishwashers. We charge only $ 25 for diagnosing the problem with your machine. If you choose for us to perform the repair, the cost of the diagnosis will go towards the repair. Schedule a repair now!

Established in 1994.

This business was started by my father in 1994. I took over management in 2013 and have been working along with him since.

Manager

Ryan is head of customer service and management, as well as the owner. He makes sure that all repairs go smoothly and takes time to listen to our client’s needs and requests. Easy going, very friendly, and honest. Great all around guy and he really knows his stuff!

These guys are great!
They came over promptly as scheduled and were friendly and courteous from the moment they walked into the house. What I really appreciated was the fact that there was an issue with my oven/​microwave unit relating to them having adequate access due to the original install of the unit (the unit still works just a minor hinge/​spring needs to be replaced). They were honest and upfront and said they could not safely remove the unit for the repair and did not want to damage the surrounding cabinet areas.
After spending about an hour trying to figure it out we collectively decided to just defer the repair to sometime in the future after I had a kitchen contractor over to deal with my cabinets/​electrical access issues. I went to pay them for their service call and they refused to take my money! Instead they apologized for not being able to make the repair that day. I am not aware of many companies that refuse to take money from a customer.
Thank you both for coming over and trying to help. Job well done in my book!

Great service! I bought a washer/​dryer from them at a great price back in May but just had it hooked up due to needing new electrical. I called them this afternoon to see if they could help me get it situated and they happily came out just a few hours later (when they said they would) to help me set it up! Ryan and Mohammad are very efficient and professional!

My refrigerator was leaking water from the bottom of the door so I searched and found vortex appliance. I called them and they were able to come to my house on the same day. Ryan quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me a very reasonable quote for the repair. He had fixed the cause of the leak within an hour and my fridge was as good as new. They are fast, knowledgeable and honest and I would recommend them to anyone.

I visited this shop after my dryer broke and am very pleased with how things turned out. Ryan, one of the owners, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He explained to me that it would be more cost effective for me to buy a new dryer then repair my battered up old one. I was hesitant at first because I wasn’t experienced with installation but Ryan explained that they deliver the dryer to your house and install it for you. The next day they came at 6 PM sharp, which was also a strong display of professionalism because I personally hate it when people show up late. I had set an hour aside for the installation but 15 minutes later Ryan was already done and getting ready to leave. Overall, it was a very stress free and pleasant experience, and I will be returning to Vortex for all my appliance needs.
