Z-tech Loop

Came in on Sunday (day before lunar new years). Store was open so I walked in. Wasn’t greeted at all and instead, the guy behind the counter just kinda stared at me. Asked if I could get my phone fixed but the owner wasn’t in because of New Years. Reasonable so I asked if i could come back in on Tuesday and made an appointment for Tuesday (day after New Years).
Fast forward, Tuesday came, drove all the way to convoy to get my phone fixed. Instead, the entire store was closed when they should’ve been opened. There were no signs whatsoever explaining why the store was closed on an ordinary Tuesday. What a waste of time, gas, and so much for the promised appointment. Could’ve just gotten my phone fixed elsewhere during that time.

So my son dropped my phone this morning completely cracked the screen on my iPhone 5s. I found Z-​tech Loop — front Convoy St as I live near by, I dropped in to see about fixing my phone and how long it would take! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was told my phone would be ready within 2 hours I actually came back earlier than the time and it was ready! Couldn’t be happier and learned my lesson about my son getting his hands on my phone again. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I brought my Samsung Galaxy Nexus here two times and both times, they tried hard to provide great customer service.
The first time around, the screen had cracked and they were very upfront about the expense and time required because they had to order a used Galaxy Nexus and swap parts between my phone and the used phone. It was a bit pricey but completely understandable. The repair has held up great even after 3 months.
The second time, I visited because the volume switch didn’t seem to respond consistently. Unfortunately, when they tried using the switch, it worked for them so they merely superglued a little metal to the rocker switch. In hindsight, the real problem was that the «volume flex cable» (aka the metal bits that the switch touches) was beginning to fail. The problem continued to get worse until the up button became completely non-​functional about 4 months later.
I don’t blame them for not catching the problem back then; it would’ve required a lot of button pushing to spot it.

Called the main line to ask for information. Employee could not understand what I was saying and asked if I was speaking Chinese. I speak clear English… ASSHOLE

I always get my iPhone gadgets and repairs fixed here because they offer the best price and the technique that they use to fix is different from most places.

The Z-​tech loop is a clean and nice store. They can fix and repair phones, computers and other electronics. There also has a lot of phone case there, and I got a very cute Hello Kitty bling bling iPhone 5 case there. It makes me like a shine star when I hang out with my friends, and the price is very good!!! One more thing is that Z-​tech loop really save customers’ time and money for repair and other stuffs! I love there!

I absolutely loved this place. It was a nice clean environment, and they don’t mind if you sit there and watch them.
I had Brian fix the screen on my Galaxy SIII, while Phillip answered my questions. It was definitely awesome watching the screen get taken off, and they were very careful and took their time not to break the LED.
Definitely worth the 80 dollars – considering the resale of the phone is around 120. Woo!

Drop and broke my blackberry, with budget in mind, Tim helped me out via Facebook message, got me an iPone, set it up on a timely manner so my business can continue to run. It’s very important to me to use message because I am always on the run and training dogs. I prefer to use message communication, and Z-​tech Loop did it! Thanks so much!

Great place to have your phone repaired. My Galaxy S4’s lock button was jammed. One of the technicians repaired it within a few minutes!

Z-​tech Loop is the place to go to repair your broken screen! They are extremely fast and very reasonably priced. Phillip was immensely helpful and informative.
They also offer very ornate phone cases that you won’t be able to find anywhere else!
As a bonus, they are open until 10:00 on most days which is super convenient.

Do not bring your Droid phones here! They have little experience replacing Android phone parts and really rely on one guy to do it and apparently he’s not that good at it.
Visited them to have my cracked screen (vacation accident) replaced for my HTC Droid DNA. The installation seemed to be pretty good at first but every few days the screen would pop up and away from the phone housing. And each and every time I’d go in, they’d work to glue the screen back down no charge to me (this gets them the one star). I went in for the 6^th or 7^th time (I guess shame on me at this point) because once again the screen had popped up off the phone. But in addition to that, the screen was cracked once more. I swear I didn’t mishandle the phone and hadn’t treated it any differently than I had usually done. I simply had noticed that some glue residue was blocking the front facing camera and when I pressed gently in the area to see if it was just a smudge on the exterior of the glass it cracked as if I had just touched thin ice. They weren’t as accomodating this last visit:
After slowly examining the phone the service rep looked up at me and tells me that they can’t return the part because it’s cracked. Ok. I get that. So could they just replace it and give me my phone… you know, the version that stays glued together as one piece. No. Of course not. The best they offered was to charge me for the replacement part and no labor charge. Oh and by the way, this is the first time they’ve worked on a Droid DNA… At this point not breaking news. Can I get a refund? A screen that constantly pops off the phone isn’t a properly installed nor a properly working screen. Of course not. Reply: «Sorry, we cannot do any more for you»
At this point he puts my phone down beside him (across the table from me) and starts working on another customer’s phone. I stupidly wait thinking it was a momentary diversion. «Ahem, Excuse me… Are you looking up anything else that can help me?» I say. The rep seems to notice me again «Oh no sorry we can not do any more for you.» «Can I have my phone back?» I have to ask. It’s broken but you can’t keep it and I don’t trust you’d fix it properly even if you offered at this point.
Ok, now I’m late getting back to work. This was the biggest pain in the butt and I spent $ 150 + tax to get back to a broken screen. Actually the first broken screen worked better than this one. Awful. Anyway. Avoid this place. Especially if you don’t speak chinese or vietnamese. The store is run by chinese/​vietnamese guys and they start doing that conveniently for them let’s talk in a diffent language about this guy who wants a refund.
Advice to the business: Take better care of your customer and teach your representatives some proper manners when resolving issues. This was an installation issue after the 2^nd time I had to bring this in for «re-​gluing». You should have ordered a replacement then at no cost to the customer and maybe paid for a training video to repair this kind of phone. One good deed goes a long way my friends.
For anyone who read this review, you’ll notice I haven’t reviewed anything else. That’s how bamboozled I feel at this point. I had to go and create a Unilocal review. Terrible isn’t it.

Impeccable service and prompt replacement of my Samsung Galaxy III’s screen brought a smile to my face. Z-​tech also has a wide variety of cases for most phones at an affordable price.
The technicians were upfront and honest regarding the risks involved with glass replacement for the Galaxy III and the potential for needing to replace the LCD portion of the screen which would have increased the cost of the repair significantly. Their price points are still affordable and the service provided was much appreciated by your truly.

Awesome! They repaired my shattered iPhone 5 screen in about 20 minutes. They we very nice, helpful, stood by their work, and it was only $ 140. I would absolutely recommend this place!
The only thing I was bummed about was that all the technicians were at a meeting until 2:30 pm so I had to wait until then. Luckily, I had the afternoon free and they were very apologetic about it. Just call ahead…
Tip: Pay with cash, otherwise they charge a little more.

Broke my Samsung S3 and needed a replacement and found these guys off Unilocal after reading the reviews. The staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating, provided quick repair services and was in and out in no time.

Z-​tech loop is a store located in the corner of the plaza with Chopstix, it’s kind of hidden but I stopped by after dinner just for fun.
Surprisingly they have a LOT of cute I phone cases (and other phone cases), it’s cuter than the ones I’ve seen in LA, some have too much bling/​little diamonds for me, but they also have a some simple ones.
They have ipad cases, iphone screen cover etc.
They also fix broken iphones/​electronics for a reasonable price.
They even sell BRAND new iphones/​ipads etc etc
Will definitely come back if I’m looking for a new iphone case/​phone/​ipads
