Affordable Pet Grooming

Not from around here but I am visiting and my coco had to get cleaned up. I found this spot and it’s amazing. Friendly staff and they did a wonderful job. Thank you for making this a great experience m!

Not the fanciest or greatest pet groomers but I love coming here bc they give me what I want. They never complain that my dogs hair is too matted and say they have to shave her like other places. And the price is always good! For everything they do their prices are very reasonable. Love this place

Don’t go to this place, I took my bfs dog there to get groomed and when I picked her up and took her home she was peeing pink
I thought maybe it’s just something she ate before so I took her again and same thing happened
I know she can be a little hyper and maybe they gave her something to calm her but they should not do that especially without consent
Never go there, the. We took her to another place nearby and they told us it’s not the first time they’ve heard that

Good and bad experience!
Good:
Brought Chloe here for her first grooming after going for 4yrs to her last groom place in LA wich I loved! Here they did an amazing job and left my sweet grl looking like a million bucks (even with a bow) adorable! I was pleasantly pleased knowing I had found the perfect new place for her!
Bad:
Today, my husband took her back again and told them do a fluffy look on her (meaning not cut to much). They told him they needed to cut all her hair bc she had to many knots on her, so I was like «ok» hoping it would grow fast. A few hrs ltr they called my husband to go and pick her up bc she had bitten someone and that they wouldn’t groom her anymore. When my husband got there my poor sweet grl who has never in her life (almost 5yrs old now) had pooped all over herself and was scared to death :’(I’m sooo upset about this and won’t be going to this place any more! Nobody knows ur pets more than we (owners) do and I’m sure they did something really bad to her to upset her that much! Unbelievable!

Actually quite dissatisfied with Affordable Pet Groomer’s service quality. The staff isn’t very friendly when I come to think about it, and while inside, the strong odor of smoke/​cigarettes is literally the first impression you get. I will say my pet did look nice and groomed, the staff’s attitude really says a lot about the kind of treatment my dog gets when I’m not around. I stopped going here for a reason, and I’ve been happier with my new pet grooming service since.

I’ve only been here a few times and it was only getting worse and worse.
Today was my dog’s last visit because they cut him.
First of all, the place has a smell of smoke — so if your dog has allergies, probably not a good idea to come. They tend to cut the dogs hair really short because it’s the «summer cut». A summer cut doesn’t mean to shave all their hair. They also do sloppy work — the hair cut would be uneven.
I would always hesitate to take my dog here because the quality was always border line acceptable. Now I know that affordable grooming doesn’t not mean good service. I could have dealt with some choppy hair cut but I should have stopped taking him when I saw how close they were getting to skin. If you’re curious, I paid$ 45 for his haircut (I took him in already bathe).
But today they cut my dog and he does not deserve that. I called and told them how unprofessional it was to cut my dog and they said to take him but I didn’t, they did enough harm to my dog.

i just brought my shih tzuh for grooming. i asked the lady in the reception area how much is their grooming package. she said it’s 35 $ including everything. she told me it would take a few hours and i could leave my dog and she would me a call when he’s done. after almost 4 hrs she called and told my dog was ready. i was so excited to pick him up. i was happy to see him with his new haircut and bandana around his neck. but when i got him i saw his body was still dirty and still smell the same as i brought him in??? they didn’t bathe him.

Not bad

I took my dog Pancake to get groomed here, she has very nappy long hair. When i went to pick her up she was practically bald. I would have preferred if they had left her hair longer and just trimmed it like other places. But i suppose that was my mistake for not telling the girl before hand. She looks cute though.

I just brought my dog in for a hair cut here and they did a very nice job, I will continue to come back here for doggy salon day. My pup was well groomed and smelling fresh. Thank you APG Ill be back soon!

This is honestly the WORST dog grooming place ever. 1^st of all Customer service sucks. Rude people. Anyways what really got me upset was I took my dog to obviously get a wash and cut. When I arrived first thing I noticed were the other poor dogs locked up in small tight cages, shaking waiting for their owners and it smelled really bad. But regardless I told them what I wanted for my dog. I left. FIVE hours later I still hadn’t received a call that my dog was ready, so I called them and the worker rudely answered me that my dog was being aggressive & that they couldn’t do anything on her. I mean come on! My dog is no where near aggressive & they couldn’t call me to tell me they couldn’t work on my dog?! I had to call?! Ridiculous! When I picked her up she smelled worse then when I bought her in & her paws were wet. She was on the bottom cage where the water flows from the workers working. This place is a joke! Right after I left I Unilocal another groomer place and they took her in with so much love & my dog was so happy and playful with them, nowhere near aggressive like this place claimed. A BIG difference from this dump.

Just took my dog here for a much needed haircut and Im so glad I did. Not only are their prices really affordable but the owner is friendly and makes you feel comfortable to leave your pet with them. My dachshund came out looking greater than ever. Would highly recommend. Give them a try.

I took in my dog, who’s hair was completely matted and tangled. Not only did this place give me an affordable price for shaving & washing, but my dog looked so clean & well groomed that I barely even noticed him. I will definitely be coming back for monthly grooming. They were amazing!

Been her before with my others dogs which are now in doggie heaven. So it has been a while since I been here my daughter took our dog and well just just say it’s time to find another groomer. Our poor doggie cut is all choppy and uneven edges and it looks like his nails were just filed and not trimmed and he is a small dog and it cost $ 40. Customer service was fair.
Change is good time for a new place.

I used to be a loyal costumer and would always bring all 3 of my dogs here for as long as I could remember. Last week I had asked my mother to take my spaniel (since I couldn’t because I was at work). The times above on Unilocal (and at the door) say closing is at 5pm. one of the guys called my mom around 3pm and yelled at her to pick up the dog. He did not need to yell at my mother! That was very unnecessary since they still had TWO hours left before closing. I had picked up my dog at 4pm not knowing what had happened and got a call from my roommate saying that she had also gone to pick up my dog as well because of this incident. Money wise this place is good on price but I’d rather pay more money than have this rude customer service. Unilocal says there are plenty of other groomers around San Fernando so I’ll just check those out.

I never take my dog anywhere else, I am definitely a loyal customer! They really do live up to their name, always affordable and easy to work with.
My pup Beck’s poodle/​cocker spaniel coat has always been anything but manageable and yet every time we get him back he looks amazing, brushed and washed to the nines. The groomers who work there have always super to us as well, great customer service every time I bring him in, no matter how stinky he is :]

We brought our husky in for a bath and brush because he sheds like crazy. We got super friendly service and some advice on how to manage his furry coat. He was happy and super clean when we picked him up. We will be back.

We are very happy with the service here. Our little Lucky is never happy about going to the groomers, and is angry for a couple of days afterward. Since we’ve been home, she has been running around and playing nonstop.
Great, fast service. And you can’t beat the pricing. We will definitely be coming back again.

I took my dog in to get groomed and wow what a mistake. When you first walk in you will know first hand what I am talking about. It is dirty and a little on the ghetto side. But that isn’t the real reason for the 1 star.
I got my dog shaved for the summer and they totally botched the job. He was uneven on his head and they left hair around the ears but then shaved the other side? Like what the hell. Secondly and the biggest is they nicked him near the eye. Lastly, he now has ticks! WTF. I go in to get him groomed and he comes back looking like hell and now has bugs.
I will not go back to this place.

I am very satisfied with the service and the quality of work! I was able to walk in with my two DIRTY dogs and have adorably fluffy and clean dogs in just one hour. They clipped their nails, took care of their glands and they smell and look awesome.
I am so happy to have found such an affordable and easy place to take my pets. The women that run/​own the shop were super nice and helpful and were able to answer my questions about teeth cleaning (they offer non-​anesthesia cleaning!) and about my worries of fleas/​ringworm.
I will definitely be back and would highly recommend!
