Had a backed up sewer line but with the heavy rains it was difficult finding someone who could come out. ²⁴⁄₇ was the only place that responded to my call, had someone out within an hour and fixed the problem at a very reasonable cost. I will use them again.

We had a serious plumbing backup in our whole building which unfortunately showed up in our bathtub. Within 2 months we had 3 incidents and 2 other plumbers come out before ²⁴⁄₇ with very temporary solves. (If you’re searching for a plumber, steer clear of Roto Rooter plumbing in SF. They are expensive, full of excuses, and time after time they do not follow through when they say they will.)
Jerome from ²⁴⁄₇ kept working for hours on Saturday AND Sunday and tried different options until he was able to actually find the root of the issue. Absolutely not his job, but he even helped clean up sewage which had backed up into the tub when he was done snaking the main line.

I had an apartment tenant toilet leak and the Water Department saying I had a high water usage. I could only have the plumber come to the property on a Saturday or weekdays after 8pm.

GREAT customer service. I needed to get three quotes to change our clay sewer pipes, and I called ²⁴⁄₇ last week and they were able to send someone right away on Monday. So one star for being available. Then Kay called me yesterday (Tuesday) to follow up, which is awesome!

sunday night, water streaming up out of the kitchen sink! sean from ²⁴⁄₇ was there in a flash and fixed it all super quick. fast, friendly, informative. highly recommended.

$ 600+ for the service and couple days later, water got stuck again, they charged additional $ 200. Usually it cover if it happens again, but it doesn’t. Charged too much.

Steve and Mike were incredible plumbers. They responded to our distress call «leak upstairs» and were able to come and assess the situation in the middle of the night. They put together a quick stop gap measure that stopped the leaking before coming back the next day to fix the problem. Steve was incredibly friendly and professional and helped come up with the solution to our problem right away. They even got us in touch with a water removal specialist that was able to start drying our ceiling immediately saving thousands of dollars of potential damage. I would highly recommend this service to anyone with any plumbing issues.

Last night my daughter heard a gurgling sound coming from her bathroom toilet. My husband flushed the toilet and noticed it was draining very slowly. He attempted several time to clear the blockage with a plunger. Shortly after, we noticed sewage backing up into a drain in our garage. This was at 10:30 at night.
We called at least 5 «24 hour» plumbing companies. We waited an hour for one of the companies to call us back after we spoke to their dispatch. No one called back. So we called ²⁴⁄₇ Rooter and Plumbing and this was the only company whose plumber, called us back! Mike called us back within 20 minutes. He arrived shortly thereafter. By this time it was after midnight.
He quickly diagnosed the problem and went to work. While snaking the trap, he found a pipe in our drain! WTH?! Apparently, this was left behind by a plumber who was working on our next door neighbor’s drain a while back. That’s another story. BOO!
Mike partially cleared the blockage and couldn’t remove the pipe which was wedged in our main drain. He came back this morning to completely clear the block. He was finally able to remove the pipe that was wedged in the drain. It was 4 feet long!
He cleared all of our drains. Yay Mike!

Such a nice and helpful plumber! He came over within a couple hours of me calling and he found our leak immediately and helped me get it under control! Even though it was a problem with our fridge, he made sure that the leak was stopped and he gave me advice on contacting the appliance manufacturer.

Omar came out and was determine to get my drain cleared. He did a great job and worked very hard to clear out my problem. This is the 2^nd time I have used them and both plumbers have been great and worked really hard to solve my issue and not leave until the job was done.

Complete rip-​off and way overpriced. Over the weekend my bath tub stopped draining so I called these guys. The sent someone over who used a device to force water through the drain at pressure to clear it. The bill? $ 250! It took him all of 1 minute to do this. They will overcharge you and make it seem like it’s a difficult problem. $ 250 for a minute of work, even by SF standards is just insane. I’d recommend stay away from this business.

Recently I had a huge Waterheater issue which was difficult and involved. From the beginning, everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful. Omar tackled this job and was absolutely super, coming back various times to finish the job properly. We were just so impressed with the overall service, plus my employees enjoyed having him there! Very nice! TY!

I manage a small coffee shop so when we having plumbing issues it’s imperative that they’re taken care of quickly and thoroughly. I contacted ²⁴⁄₇ with a fairly serious clog at 8pm. Dispatch told me I would be contacted within a few minutes to ascertain the problem. Got the call 30 seconds later. After a brief explanation, Chris H. offered to be on site within 45 minutes. He made in in 30. Already pleased.
After a quick look around, he gave me a fair estimate for the job. I agreed and he got to work immediately. Took him about an hour and now our drains are back to normal. Slightly steep price considering the amount of time and relative simplicity of the problem, but that’s the nature of emergency plumbing. I am curious what another company would’ve charged but ²⁴⁄₇ was the only of 3 to return my call. I would definitely use their service again when in a pinch.
TL;DR — Responsive operators. Arrived in less than 1 hour. Honest, fair plumber. Job completed quickly. Slightly expensive, but that’s a given. Would definitely use again. Thanks, Chris!

My regular plumber is a one-​man show and so when my toilet clogged, he was on vacation but my need for a functioning toilet was not. Based on good reviews here, I called ²⁴⁄₇ and had a plumber in 90 minutes. Not cheap, but he seemed to know what he was doing — the clog was easy to fix but he pointed out a piece of the plumbing that was problematic, and it was no additional labor, just the part.

I had a clogged sink that I tried to use a snake on but was not able to un-​block last night. So this morning I called at 8:05am and was not able to get an estimate over the phone. They said that the plumber would be there in an hour and he was at my house by 8:35am (which was great). In two seconds he gave me a quote to fix the sink of $ 250. It seemed steep but I needed the pipe cleared so I just went with it. He got in with his small powered rooter and tried a couple of times but was not able to clear the block. He had to get the largest rooter thing that he had and then was able to push out the thing that was clogging the pipe. It ended up taking more than an hour so I had to pay an extra $ 100 for the second hour. Total cost was $ 350! expensive. By 9:56am he had everything cleaned up. The plumber came right over and worked diligently on the problem so it seemed legitimate but still a bit expensive. They said the work had a 30 day guarantee. I would use them again but I will probably look around a little next time to see about getting a little left expensive option.

During a recent heavy rain storm, one of my terrace roof drains backed-​up. The terrace is above the residential unit below mine.
I grabbed my phone and scanned Unilocal to find an emergency service provider. I found ²⁴⁄₇; called the number; dispatcher answered within 30-​seconds. My request was processed quickly and efficiently; and I was told a technician would be dispatched immediately.
Chris H arrived within 40-​minutes; assessed conditions; fetched the necessary equipment from his truck; and got to work.
Within 30-​minutes Chris had cleared the drain and the water flowed down the pipe.
Chris H was polite courteous and respectful of my home, which is a difficult task when having to carry cumbersome and wet dirty equipment through a residence.
I could not be more impressed with the service I received.

— My kitchen sink backed up and would not drain.
— I called around 8pm and got their answering service. I received a callback in just a few minutes.
— Plumber was at my house around 11pm. He was friendly but told me that he was on hour 13 and looked like a zombie.
— Plumber was unable to successfully rooter the pipe. He blamed it on tiredness and equipment problems. He instructed me to call the company again in the morning to have them send out another plumber. They did not charge me for the unsuccessful attempt.
— I called first thing in the morning (7:30am) and still haven’t heard back. It is now 11am (update: I finally received a callback after noon).
— I’m calling someone else due to their lack of response and unprofessionalism.

Pro’s:
1. They do NOT charge an arm and a leg
2. Once you call, a plumber is dispached and calls you within 10 minutes and goes out well within the hour.
3. Honest! They have not done more work than they have to.
Con’s:
