Specialties
As a pilates instructor, I focus on improving movement and breathing patterns, while strengthening and stretching the whole body with control. I develop specific workout programs designed around each student’s goals, needs, commitment and conditioning levels, from beginners to advanced. In addition, with my education and interest in kinesiology, physical therapy research, athletics and neuroscience, I have acquired the tools and passion for creating therapeutic workouts. Furthermore, my experience with personal injuries and volunteering in physical rehabilitation clinics with patients recovering from back injuries to strokes and cancer, has made me a compassionate teacher for working with all movement abilities. When I am not teaching, I love to spend time cooking from scratch, biking, playing basketball, or swimming in cold water.
