Description

Specialties

Pacific Heights Health Club is much more than just a small neighborhood gym…

It’s a place where you can be yourself, where you can connect with old friends and make new ones, and where fitness happens while you’re having fun. And, of course, it’s a place where you’ll see and feel the results of making healthy lifestyle choices.

History

Established in 1984.

The grand opening of Pacific Heights Health Club took place on February 14, 1984. On June 1, 2004, Amy Lang became the current owner. Raised in Michigan, Amy moved to San Francisco after graduating from the University of Michigan and fell in love with the Bay Area. Obviously, she decided to stay. After spending 10 years in the high technology industry at amazing companies like Netscape, Oracle and Yahoo, Amy realized she was meant to follow a different path — one that tapped into her lifelong interest in health and wellness. Now she focuses her energy on helping people make healthier choices. And that’s what Pacific Heights Health Club is all about.

The club occupies the entire building, including the front room that’s dedicated to cardio and the entire 2nd floor where you’ll find Flow Studios. Founded in 2007, Flow Studios at PHHC complements the fitness programs and services with a full slate of wellness services, including yoga, Pilates, physical therapy, acupuncture and massage.

After spending 10 years in the high technology industry at amazing companies like Netscape, Oracle and Yahoo, Amy realized she was meant to follow a different path — one that tapped into her lifelong interest in health and wellness. Now, instead of spending her time convincing people to adopt new technologies, she focuses her energy on helping people make healthier choices. And that’s what Pacific Heights Health Club is all about.
