Good portions for the banana split lush delicious strawberry cheesecake milkshake. It’s is kind of warm in the shop which is weird.

The ice cream was great but the service was bad and unfriendly. Also the price was very expensive. For one big scoop they charge 6.25 plus tax!

Ice cream in San Francisco is a combination I usually do not put together because San Francisco is usually cold but I did just because I remember getting ice cream around this area and couldn’t remember what ice cream store it was then I found out it was Ben & Jerry’s.
My overall experience with Ben & Jerry’s was average. As soon as I walked in, I felt like a heat wave punched my body. There was a total of 4 tables and 2 chairs each so it wouldn’t be able to accommodate much people.
Customer service was average. The employee that helped me out was nice. Before I got my flavor, I tried some and decided to get coffee flavored ice cream in a cone. Beware, it will melt and drip down so I highly suggest getting extra napkins!

The Fro-​yo place I wanted to go to closed, so I chose Ben & Jerry’s. I haven’t been here in years! I went for the doughy, yet crispy waffle cone that wasn’t shaped perfectly cylinder. I had one scoop, Salted Caramel Blondie– Sweet cream ice cream with blonde brownies & a salted caramel swirl and the great Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Dough™Caramel & chocolate ice creams with chocolate cookie swirls & gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough & peanut butter cookie dough. For me the Salted Caramel Blondie was too sweet for me! Other than that the Tonight Show Dough was perfect and on the spot. Yummy in my tummy! :-)
Ben and Jerry’s have odd and unique flavors combination and the ice cream shop is colorful and has a hip feeling to it. Nice logo of the cow. There is a cut out where you can stick your head to which is cute for tourists to do or locals as well. :-:

Mara is one sexy ice cream scooper. By the time the ice cream got to me, it was melted because she was so hot. Caliente. Great service! good ice cream! #marafrombjs

Wow very expensive for 2 scoops over 10.00. I thought there may have been a difference from store bought Ben and Jerry’s However I was wrong store bought Ben and Jerries come with more icecream for way less. If you could pass and wait till you saw CVS I would recommend that.

I just bought a t-​shirt in here at 475 Jefferson St, San Francisco. It was tagged 19.95 $. After I paid I saw the store charged 25 $ plus tax. I asked them why, they told me: Yeah, it’s 19.95 plus tax… I said 5 $ tax can’t be, and my bill showed 25 plus tax. After discussion they said it’s 21 plus tax, I said no, it is tagged 19.95. Then they came up with: yeah, the boss marked it wrong, I said I don’t care. I want to pay 19.95 $ plus tax… They said I could return the shirt, I said I don’t want to return and anyway if the next costumer comes in they will fool him as well???
After all Ben & Jerry’s, I do not think this is your companies policy, in the end the whole working staff was neither helpful, in fact they got rude, unpolite… I my opinion they all have to be fired!!! And I really have to think about buying any ben&jerry’s stuff again! This is not a way to treat customers!!!

It was a hot day and generally Ben & Jerry’s had never disappointed me. Well, the taste certainly did not disappoint but my wallet felt a burn. It was doubly more expensive than other Ben & Jerry’s

Zero stars. ZERO STARS. Growing up in Vermont, I was raised to love Ben & Jerry’s and had Vermonters at my birthday parties growing up. I personally met Ben Cohen himself after my father performed life saving double bypass heart surgery on him 15 years ago. This location has the most abysmal customer service I have ever been witness to. Not just in ice cream, not just in service, in life. I tried to stop in yesterday for free cone day at 8 pm, during their ‘normal business hours’. I received a judgemental malicious staredown from all 8 scoopers, and the door was promptly shut and locked in my face. It’s not like they were fighting back the crowds of people trying to get free ice cream. I was quite literally the only one there. I don’t understand how a group of 8 people serving Ice Cream (yes, i scream you scream we scream for ice cream), could have such hatred in each of their souls to deny a person the simplest satisfaction of a free scoop of ice cream on free cone day. It just baffles me.
As I stood shocked, defeated, and speechless outside of the shop, it was like all of the sweet memories of my childhood were torn out and curb stomped on that sidewalk in fisherman’s wharf, while the 8 of them carelessly dissected my remains with their scoops.
So let it be known to the Unilocal community! This location does not participate in free cone day and will treat you like a sub humanoid piece of tenderloin if you try and get your NATIONALLY ADVERTISED free cone.

I got a Coffee Heath Bar shake with whipped cream on top, it cost $ 6.45, the price seemed kind of high for a small size milkshake?
seems like anything here is priced around $ 7 & up
but I really needed something since I just finished a long walk and needed some refreshment for a quick energy boost.
it was OK, but I thought it was kind of over priced, I guess it’s because of the name Ben & Jerry’s.

The only difference with this Ben & Jerry’s compared to others is that you order outside, there is no seating and the staff is extremely slow! Seriously I get the California laid back attitude but there wasn’t much of a line and we still waited nearly 15 mins just to order. It’s almost as if they are making the icecream. Anyway they have unique flavors not found in the stores. Plus their prices are California style, pricey… even pricer than NJ…
We split a small cup and it was over $ 5…

Not content with just an ice cream cone, I also ordered a pint of sorbet to-​go. You can mix-​match your flavors for the pint, perfect for my tastebuds, which have the attention span of a goldfish.
TIP: Work off the calories from your ice cream by hiking up Hyde Street.

4 stars for their upbeat service attitude. It was a busy day today since there is a special free cone day. The vast amount of flavors and selection can be overwhelming as my friend who stood there… waiting to decide which one to pick.
For me, it’s easy because they have lemonade sorbet for non-​diary consumers.
