After moving my Marketing/​design business from Ann Arbor in the Mid 90s, it wasn’t to long before I started in Real Estate purchasing and sales. I don’t see myself as a salesman.

I have blended what I learned as a design consultant so that I am able to collaborate with my clients as a team: sharing insight and information so that clients feel confident knowing they find the relevant information they need to make informed decisions.

I have owned Lofts, Single Family homes and apartments. I am and have been a landlord many times and can help people save time and money.

We had an amazing experience working with Bill Williams in selling our condo. Bill is very knowledgeable with the Mission Bay neighborhood, which helped strategizing the plan to sell. Bill is always on top of things (i.e. gave us frequent updates on status, answered our calls, emails and got back to us when he said he would). With Bill’s assistance, the entire selling process was made extremely smooth — from planning to offer to closing. While in the process of selling, we needed to do some minor repair /​clean-​up work, Bill helped us managing the vendors and taking care of the buyer’s requests which kept us completely worry-​free. Bill Williams is one of the top realtors in the City. Bill recently sold my loft which he helped me to buy several years ago. While I was doubtful about going to market as my property was in litigation, he convinced me that there was sufficient market demand to obtain my target pricing. Every realtor has their own personality and Bill is able to get results in a low key methodic way. He was involved in the entire process including staging, minor repairs and closing. I could not be more pleased with the results.
While this review is primarily focused on my recent sale, it is important to note that throughout the real estate recession, Bill stayed in touch with me to provide sales comp information and other items that I needed for a refinance, etc. That is the service and relationship level that differentiates Bill from many other realtors.

A few things about Bill–
He is great customer service, is on the ball and takes very good care of his clients.
He can always be reached
He will go the extra mile and then some
He is also a very empathic, good person, easy to relate to and cares.
Can be aggressive when needed, laid back when not.
Point is, he got us in a SFH in SF, where there were like 100 other families many all cash. It was really the only home we could find of it’s equal in the city.

Bill came highly recommended from our mortgage banker and lived up to our expectations and beyond.
After losing out on our first bid we had experienced the ineffective hands-​off approach of using a realtor that worked for a major website, and we were ready to work with someone that took the time to understand our needs and to truly represent us to the sellers.
With Bill the difference was night and day. He drove us around town, showed us all kinds of properties, and got to know the sellers and agents in order to put pur best foot forward.

I have now bought and sold a condo. For the buying we used an good realtor. He did the usual things, he was nice, we liked him.
For the selling, we used Bill Williams and the difference was night and day. It’s a buyer’s market and we knew that selling our SoMa condo at a decent price was going to be tough. Bill stepped up to the plate and took on the challenge with a smile.
I have never seen such a thorough, hard-​working professional. He kept us up to date on the latest sales in our neighborhood and did tons of background work to make sure we were priced right, that we were hitting the market on the right date, and that our place showed well. He was fair, a straight shooter, and realistic.
And the proof is in the pudding. He got our condo sold in three weeks. AMAZING!

We met Bill at an open house while looking for a condo in South Beach. Our situation was challenging for a number of reasons. First, we had a huge laundry list of things we wanted in a property. Second, we needed to use a VA loan which is complicated and extremely rare in San Francisco. For condo’s, the property has to be approved by the VA (which takes months) and none in the city are.
Bill nailed the property immediately. It had everything that we asked for. We wouldn’t have to compromise on anything. Bill then submitted the VA paperwork and we waited. Less than two months later the property was approved and two units were for sale. Bill filled out the paperwork for us and helped us come up with an offer which was fair and we hoped would be accepted. The offer was accepted and Bill did a great job of manging the difficult escrow process.
We have been in our condo now for about a year and love the property. We highly recommend Bill!
