Description

Specialties

Cocktails

Created by The Bön Vivants, the cocktail program is inspired by Café du Nord’s century of service as a bar, nightclub and San Francisco destination. In addition to the cocktail list, Café Du Nord offers a selection of craft beer, wine and a wide selection of spirits, including thoughtful Scotch and American whiskey lists.

Food

Chef Thomas McNaughton presents a menu inspired by classic dishes found throughout watering holes and eateries in America in the 20th century influenced by local ingredients. Food options range from small snacks to pair with a drink at the bar to larger plates more suited to a seated meal.

Late Night Dining & Midnight Escapades

Café du Nord is a destination for late night dining serving the full menu from 6PM — 1:30AM. Also, as the clock strikes midnight true champagne and oysters are half-priced until closing!

History

Established in 2015.

Café du Nord has been serving San Francisco (almost) continuously since 1907. Reopened after restoration in the summer of 2015, it is once again providing San Franciscans with good food, good drink and good times.

Tucked into the back of the historic bar is the Viking Room, a restaurant serving fresh seafood, American bistro cuisine, cocktails and champagne.
