Are you in need of a sultry Spanish night or a boheiman adventure? So brace yourself for a night when the well worn hardwood floors of Pachamama resonate with the pulsating sounds of footwork, song, castanets, syncopated hand clapping and guitar. If you have not seen this group, this is an opportunity to experience their high energy and passion for their art that defines a new dimension in Flamenco and Spanish dance traditions. Carolina and her daughter Carolé offer a special evening for a date night, family gathering, or get together with friends and co-workers. Shows every Saturday at 7pm visit our website for more information/dates/ticket links.

History

Established in 1995.

Ballet Flamenco performs in a broad spectrum of formats, including formal theater concerts, dinner theater, cabaret, opera, and symphony. The company’s work is unique in that our dancers, musicians, and singers are trained both in the earthy fire of Flamenco dance, song, and music, and the graceful beauty of Classical Spanish dance and music. Our works in Spanish dance with its ballet, regional dance, and flamenco influences are a blending of these three genres, which arrived in San Francisco 173 years ago with the first performance by a Spanish dance company.

Carolina L. says,

«Pachamama is a cool place with great world music and dance. It’s full of charm. The salmon is the best in town, some of the vagan food is good, too.»
