Glow exceeded expectations throughout the entire wedding planning process. Both Lauren and Christina worked extremely hard to understand what my now wife and I wanted prior to any and all major decisions. From the start, my wife and I made it clear we wanted to remain relatively hands off in the planning process, Lauren embraced the challenge and advised us brilliantly with each and every vendor. As our wedding grew closer, Lauren was able to ease the stress of the big day, and delivered magnificently.

I wanted to wait until after my wedding to write Glow Event Design a review, but I just couldn’t wait two more weeks to rave about Lauren. We came to Glow eight months before our wedding with no ideas about what we wanted (I didn’t even have my dress at that point), but Lauren never made us feel like we were in a time crunch. She is super creative, knowledgeable, and takes care of every minute little detail.
I’m most impressed with how she handles us as clients. I’m woefully ignorant about anything wedding-​related, I don’t even know what any flowers are called. She held our hand through everything and made sure we weren’t overwhelmed with too many options and decisions. She advocated for us when talking to vendors so we weren’t saying yes to things we didn’t actually want.

Christina and Lauren are the best event planners in SF. They planned my firm’s holiday party this year and did a great job. We got feedback from our employees that they had never had more fun at a corporate holiday party. They took care of every detail including scheduling site tours, menu planning, scheduling of activities, picking decorations as well as set up /​clean up. They were very sensitive to our tight budget and would send us frequent updates on the expenses for the event. At first I was hesitant to use an event planner because of the added expense, but Christina and Lauren saved me so much time and money that the expense was 100% worth it. Highly recommended!

Christina and Lauren did a fabulous job on our wedding at Thomas Fogarty Winery. From the get-​go, it was clear that they were very familiar with the venue, which enabled them to come up with suggestions to complement our ideas. They helped us find vendors and kept on top of us to make sure we were taking care of all the details that needed attention.
And, of course, in the final week they were able to coordinate with, and sometimes corral, various vendors and other parties into making our event turn out perfectly, all while being practically invisible at the event itself. Given the amount of coordination that this involved, I’m still amazed nearly two months later.

Christina and Lauren did a FANTASTIC job on my wedding. They are both very talented and knowledgeable in anything event/​wedding related — from venues to types of wine to pair with food.
First of all, Christina worked very hard to go to all the various venues with me and helped me pick out the best one. She has great taste but also is very good at listening and understanding your taste. She is a great communicator and was always available when I needed her. Even though I had a partial plan she was responsive to my emails at all times of day and in the weekend — to calm me down about something or to give me tips on how to choose the right florist. She has GREAT advice!
Similarly, Lauren is a gem. She is super professional but with a big smile. She is fun/​easy to work with and has a phenomenal attention to details — which when dealing with rental agencies and many different vendors for an event is EXTREMELY important.
Our wedding day went PERFECT. This is no exaggeration. Glow Event Design’s team did an incredible job having the whole day go super smooth, with everything going on time, every event flowing into the next and every detail in place. They dealt with a few roadblocks without drama, and with all smiles! They NEVER showed stress and were super warm towards all the guests and my family.
All our guests said it was the most well run, fun, magical wedding — no one was stressed and there was just love and positive energy in the air. Mostly thanks to all the hard work behind the scenes from Glow Event Design!

Christina and Lauren helped me throw a series of highly styled cocktail events for my company Sōsh, an SF based startup in the local events space. Given the nature of our business it’s super important that all events we sponsor are high quality and executed exceptionally well and they did just that. They handled all the logistics (and then some) with grace, style, and professionalism. I could not have asked for a better partner than these two — I was able to turn over the reigns completely to them (not easy when you’re used to planning the events yourself!) and feel confident that they would produce a high quality event.

I cannot speak highly enough about Christina, Lauren and their team at Glow Event Design. We found Christina about four months before our wedding date, and fell in love with her right away. I was completely unorganized, as far as brides go, and my fiancé and I had a pretty vague, scattered vision for our wine country wedding. Somehow, Christina and her team transformed that piecemeal vision into the most beautiful wedding that was everything we imagined, and more.
Aside from being incredibly talented and having impeccable taste, Christina herself is lovely, as is Lauren. They are smart, detail-​oriented, sweet (but authoritative when necessary) and easy to work with. As fate would have it, it rained in Napa for the first time in 60 days on our wedding day, and we had to completely audible our plans for an outdoor ceremony at a winery. Somehow, with only a few hours to essentially re-​plan our ceremony, Christina created a makeshift ceremony that was probably more amazing than what our original plan was. Not only did she tend to every single detail that had to change with this new location, but did so with the utmost professionalism and grace — smiling the entire time.
Without a doubt, she is one of the most talented wedding coordinators in the business. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

My wife and I hired Christina as our wedding planner. She was excellent through the entire time we worked together, from initial meetings through the day of, and I would strongly recommend her. She’ll make it so you can let go and enjoy your wedding day!
We hired Christina on a partial plan – really just a few hourlong consultations in the months prior to the wedding, then pow-​wow the week before, day-​before rehearsal, and day-​of coordination. That worked really well for us – Christina acted as our project manager, keeping us on track with all the logistics and details, gently nudging us to do things in a timely manner. She also consulted with us on general aesthetics, and she was never more than an email away to give advice as we needed on everything from vendors to finding a particular style of groomsmen wear to where to get last minute items. Best of all, Christina was really responsive and was diligent on every point – I left each meeting or email exchange with a real sense of trust that we had someone who would be up to all tasks.
The actual wedding day went off without a hitch. Christina and her crew did an excellent job keeping things moving, resolving hiccups without drama (like getting an outdoor party next door to keep their music off during the course of our ceremony!), and acting as an effective firewall so that my wife and I could really be present and engaged and enjoy the day fully. They also picked up last minute things and made sure we had our vows printed out, which was clutch. They also had a really great attitude during the event – never an ounce of stress or worry in their communication.
So many of our friends and family told us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. Even the band and the photographer told us they had a ton of fun at the reception. Something magic was in the air – probably a wedding couple that was so supremely prepared and confident in their planner that they could be totally present and enjoy themselves fully!

I can not thank Christina and her crew enough. Our wedding went off without a hitch and it is all thanks to her, she is so detail oriented and organized. We not only wanted to work with someone who would be professional but also a person who was invested in how our wedding turned out. After meeting with Christina for the first time I didn’t bother looking anywhere else. Getting married at a museum has several «hoops» that need to be dealt with and thankfully Christina took care of everything. Her creative ideas and money saving tips were so helpful and her long list of resources was time saving. If you need someone to plan every detail or just need someone to be there on your wedding day she is your lady!

Christina at Glow Event Design recently worked with us on our 7÷20÷12 wedding at Thomas Fogarty Winery in Woodside, CA.
We wanted to choose our wedding coordinator very carefully considering we had a good idea of what we wanted for our day, we just needed someone to make sure it all came together seamlessly. After meeting with Christina, we immediately knew she was the right person for the job. Her personality clicked perfectly with us and she came to the initial consultation prepared with samples and «mood boards» from other weddings she’d done.
Through the entire planning process, Christina was very involved and provided excellent guidance. She provided us with visuals of our ideas, insight into hiring other wedding vendors, and joined us for things like the food tastings and venue walkthroughs.
When it was finally time for our big day, we felt confident that everything would go smoothly. The day of our wedding was in fact perfect. Everything went exactly as planned and we had the best day of our lives.

Christina and her Glow Event Design team are incredible! From start to finish she had all of our details covered. Christina helped us to enjoy our son’s Bar Mitzvah party as if we were invited guests. She is creative, friendly, professional and most importantly dedicated to making your event special. Our son wanted a basketball theme, and Christina helped us design centerpieces with basketball items (shoes, balls, jerseys) which we donated to a local charity. She communicated with our vendors and arranged for meetings with the catering manager and DJ as needed. Whenever we were overwhelmed during the planning stages, Christina would swoop in and organize a conference call or a meeting to go over details and assure us that we were on track. She listened and followed up and kept us calm…
In the end, it was such a special night which celebrated our son’s hard work! We hope to hire Christina again for our daughter’s bat mitzvah in a few years… in the meantime we are recommending Christina to all of our friends!

I cannot adequately describe how amazing Christina and her team at Glow Event Design have been.
My fiancé and I were going to plan our Big Sur wedding on our own, but realized that planning a destination wedding several hours from our home and across the country from our families was much more work than we had thought. It turns out my fiancé and I are «big picture» people, and we were losing a lot in the details and logistics.
Truly, from the moment we started working with Christina everything seemed to fall into place. Of course, this is because she worked her butt of getting us organized and all of our vendors on the same page, but to me it felt effortless and happened almost over night.
What actually impressed me the most about Christina was sent me my «mood board» and a series of other images that were her interpretation of a casual conversation we had about how I envisioned our wedding. Let me tell you — she blew my mind. Somehow, Christina was able to distill and elevate my ramblings about «natural beauty» and «ocean colors» into something truly amazing. It clearly took a lot of time, but more than that, it showed me that really listened to me and understood (perhaps better than I did myself) what I hoped our wedding could be like.
As for the wedding itself? well it was the best day of my life:) Christina kept everything organized and on time behind the scenes so that all my husband and I had to do was enjoy ourselves and guests — and boy did we:)
