We provide a full range of dental services from routine check up and cleaning to teeth whitening, veneers, tooth colored fillings, crowns, root canal treatment, teeth extractions, Invisalign, dental implants, dentures etc. We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to patients with dental anxiety.

Dr. Zhu have more than ten years of experience in clinical dentistry and constantly update himself with latest technologies to provide better services to his patients.

Dr. Zhu received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of California at San Francisco. He is an Invisalign Preferred Provider and member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association and San Francisco Dental Society.

I went to Dr Zhu several times for my decayed tooth. He has given me clear explanation and accurate treatment. Any pros and cons of different treatment was explained to me very well. Also very nice experience as a patient. I recommend Dr Zhu with strong passion.

Dr. Zhu is awesome! I hate all other dentist besides him. I don’t like pain and he doesn’t cause any for me. Very flexible and fair, not something you usually see from a dentist. I think it should be mandatory that everyone leaves their existing dentist and come see the one I have!!!

Best dentist ever! I’ve had one deep cleaning and several routine cleanings over the past few years. I’m a nervous patient and I’m terrified of syringes. Dr. Zhu and his assistants do a great job keeping me relaxed (the nitrous oxide helps). Appointments always start on time and Dr. Zhu and his staff are very efficient. I’m usually out within 35 – 45 minutes of arrival.

I just had deep cleaning… I really don’t like going to the dentist and have very low pain threshold. Dr. Zhu was very careful and attentive when injecting Novocaine. He also asked me how I felt constantly throughout. It was a pleasant experience overall (much better than I had expected). His assistant was also very great. The office is also convenient for those who work in the financial district.

I went back to Dr. Zhu for my semi-​annual teeth cleaning and he had to fill a cavity. I found out why it hurt so much when he was drilling last time! Apparently, if you drink alcohol, Novocaine doesn’t work as well! I did not know that. So just ask for more Novocaine. Don’t feel like you’ll be judged.

On the phone: I’d like to make an appointment, do you support my dental plan? yeah? great.
Before my appointment: I’d like to check in, do you support my dental plan? yes? perfect.
Immediately after my appointment: You DON’T support my health insurance? yes, thank you, it seems fair that I only pay as if my plan was covered.
Two weeks later: Here come the bills. I get multiple explanations from Dr. Zhu’s office that my plan isn’t covered. Once I explain, I get multiple promises that I’ll be called back. All I actually got were more bills.
Dr. Zhu seems like a nice enough guy. But he has an incompetent and apathetic staff.

I went to Dr. Zhu last week for the first time. He was very nice and, as opposed to other dentists I have been to, I never felt like he was trying to sell me on any additional work. I went for a simple check-​up and cleaning… he found a cavity and took care of filling it right then and there… and then I was out the door.
I will definitely return!
