This guy (Paul) is amazing! Fantastic office location! Lovely, comfortable office. He has great energy and is defiantly a top dentist in SF! He was even able to take me in on a Saturday at 10pm because I called his personal cell phone letting him know I fell and cracked my tooth. One hour later i was at his office and he fixed me up! He offers ²⁴⁄₇ emergency care and that is VERY difficult to find !! His prices are super reasonable compared to others who are outrages! Paul is very nice to work with individuals on making payment plans if you can not pay up front all at once. I recommend you call him if you need after hour emergency care. Thanks Paul for your amazing work and flexibility! He has high morals, ethics, and work standards. He explains everything be clear. I live on Nob Hill so he is super easy for my to access. I recommend hi, for anyone who lives on Russian hill/​soma/​nob hill ! Thanks again Paul’s ! I’ll see you for my root canal on June 22 bless you man! You have helped me out more than you know! Great to be pain free again!

This dentist appointment was the single most terrifying experience of my entire life. The office was unclean and unprofessional. DO NOT GO HERE!

This guy is a bumbling fumbling fool. He mumbles the whole time. His computer never works. They always get confused over scheduling. Every visit takes 4 hours and I am never done. He should have his license reviewed. I dont trust this man. Maybe for cleanings but nothing surgical. Oh he is a nice guy. Hes also completely incompetent. He might know about being a dentist but he just cant preform. I might consult my attorney.

The worst most unsanitary dentist ever! Was a no show totally for one appointment. Dropped my crown on the floor and tried to put it in my mouth without cleaning it! Multiple bad and unclean procedures. Root canal and crown work took over 20 hours and still not right. Don’t waist your time or money going to him.

I’ve been going for a long time. He is super sweet and keeps track of what I’ve been up to. Very personable… easy to make appointments… and he does a great job cleaning my teeth.

He should be sued for malpractice and poor quality work. I have had 2 expensive oral surgeries to replace the work he did on my mouth.

I’ve been a client for about three years comprising about four cleanings and a couple fillings. Only one filling was painful and that’s just cause the shot was painful. Once I had an filling fall out (don’t eat Nips!!!) and they were able to take me the next day. The cleanings are thorough and the conversation with Dr. Auger is always mellow and enjoyable.

He is a sweet and good dentist! Parking is rough downtown, but it is well worth the drive. I was paranoid to switch dentists because I was going to the same one since I was 6. But Paul Auger was great and I was comfortable through my cleanings!
This is the one review I will say I’m not looking forward to going back and it’s not because of him. it’s because WHO LIKES GOING TO THE DENTIST!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Auger’s for a few years now. While I’m just not a big fan of dental cleanings (who is?), I’ve gotta say he gets my teeth cleaner than any other dentist I’ve ever had. Very efficient, he always gets me out on time, if not earlier. Apparently he has a pretty full practice as appointments often need to be made well in advance. His small private practice is ideally located for downtown workers.
