Sonic Training

I took the Excel training with Maria at the San Jose office during a business trip last week. Maria was very professional and easy to understand. The class was great and on time with an email reminder a week prior. This was a very productive use of my time I would recommend them to everyone.

Dianne from Sonic trained our group of 7 from UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland. She covered a 2-​day class in Basic & Intermediate Powerpoint, Excel and a little of Access. She traveled to our site location also! She was really fun and kept the 8 hr class exciting (which can be a bore) with her upbeat personality and ability to adapt her teaching style to our everyday work making the topics relate. She was easy to follow and able to go with the flow despite the small technical difficulties we encountered. We will be spreading the word here at Children’s when refresher courses are needed. I took a beginning class on EXel, and was scheduled for SF. It was moved to San Jose a couple days ahead, and plenty of time to make alternative travel arrangements from the East bay. The teacher made every step simple, basic and easy to understand. Now that I have a couple of months of Beginning EXcel under my belt, I can hardly wait to get into the swing of the Intermediate class

this class was really great. the instructor was thorough and really helpful. I learned quite a bit from the class and I was able to learn some shortcuts that also helped in my use of InDesign. The examples were good and even if you don’t understand something they are willing to really help you with make sure you understand everything. I would recommend this training to everyone! I will be taking more classes with them for sure!

I signed up to take my 2-​day graphic design course with Sonic Training back in Santa Clara/​San Jose. It was fairly priced and offered me the training I needed to get started with ADOBE InDesign. Because I was the only student they merged the 2-​day course into 1 day to cater to me. This allowed me to ask specific questions to enhance my learning. These changes allowed me to move through the material at a brisk pace and accomplish my goals. I would recommend it! The only bummer was that they ordered the wrong support book for me so I left with a PC InDesign book rater than what I needed, an APPLE InDesign resource book.

I signed up to take my 2-​day graphic design course with Sonic Training back in June. It was relatively cheap compared to other courses offered and offered me the training I needed to get started with InDesign. They eventually moved my course from San Francisco to San Jose and merged it into 1 day to cater to one student who signed up for a private course. These changes didn’t not allow me to get into the entire depth of the material that I was seeking and made the class very introductory
They said I can take a refresher course within the next six months. I have not yet been able to take this promised refresher course within that time frame because of few attendees that actually take these courses. I am pretty disappointed.

I attended a 2-​day Sonic Training workshop for InDesign. I found the workshop very helpful. The couse was a good pace for new learners and allowed time for exploration. I am currently using the skills I learned today.

I attended a Sonic training session for Excel. The class was small, which was nice, and we received the workbook and training links. The class should have been longer and I was hoping for more in-​depth teaching, but I did learn some new tips — which I used at work. Overall, it was a good experience.

I was able to learn my SQL from Sonic Training in order to perform my job requirements. The instructor was able to customize the speed of the course for me. One on One experience is the best. In depth explainations along with live practice cases helps me retain working knowledge of the huge amount of materials covered during the course. Excellent way to upgrade yourself.

I signed up with Sonic through the company I work for to get Dreamweaver and Flash training back in Oct 09. I was only able to attend one «extra» class during that time frame of basic HTML. The trainer was great but the overall experience with the business itself has been terrible. Not only are they impossible to get in touch with its difficult to schedule classes because of enough attendees. Needless to say I found out I was being transferred at the end of the year to South Carolina I requested a refund to which they granted. This was back in December and we still have not received a refund. After several emails and calls from both myself and my boss nothing has been solved.
