Awesome drinks, awesome team! We were lucky enough to be able to bring in our own bartenders of choice for our wedding and so glad we chose Goose on the Rocks. From the consultation to the big day, Benson and his team were great to work with. They are so thorough and cover all the bases so everything would be smooth, and it sure was. They were even able to make my all time favorite. MOJITOS!!! Three flavors may I add (original, blueberry and mango), along with all the regular cocktails and drinks. Our guest were so happy! THANKS GOTR!

Met Benson at a party his company were hosting. After a few minutes of conversation and a couple of drinks, I decided to hire his team to for my party. I must say, this is one the of the nest decisions i made. His staff came early to set up and were ready before the party began. Friendly and courteous him and his staff kept the party going and the drinks kept pouring. Thank you so much GOTR! I’ve already recommended your services to my friends. The Goose on the Rocks crew did a spectacular job at my wedding. They work with you to come up with special drinks and provide a good estimate of how much alcohol you need and don’t need. They know how to stay in control and make sure to prevent things from getting out of hand. Last thing you want are sloppy guests and of course for everyone to get home safely. Most importantly, they are fast and efficient. Long lines move quick! Thank you GOR crew.

My husband and I live on the East Coast, but we got married in California (where we are from). As you can imagine, planning a wedding from across the country (without a wedding planner) is a little crazy. I am very particular and extremely organized, so I started looking for a bartender far in advance. Our venue didn’t offer bartending services (and we wanted to DIY/​Costco our bar), so it was up to us to find a trustworthy (and affordable bartender). I was perusing our venue’s hashtag and came across Goose on the Rocks. After using the power of Google and Unilocal to check reviews, I decided to contact Goose on the Rocks. Benson responded quickly, answered my numerous questions, and arranged a few phone meetings with my then-​fiancé and I. After multiple conversations and email threads, we decided to go with Goose on the Rocks. Benson was great — he helped us choose our signature drinks, organized a grocery list for us, and was available during the shopping trip for any questions we had (I’ll admit, I called/​texted him multiple times). Due to barely being in California before our wedding, we didn’t meet Benson or anyone from Goose on the Rocks until the big day; actually, during our wedding — Benson brought drinks up for my husband and I to the head table so we wouldn’t have to go to the bar. The drinks were tasty (and strong!) — I had multiple! — and Benson and his team were amazing. If you are looking for a wedding bartender (or a bartender for any event), I highlight suggest Goose on the Rocks!

so, to make things short and sweet we hired GOTR for our wedding two weeks ago and we are so pleased with the service Benson and his team provided!!! From the very beginning we knew we needed to save money but wanted to provide open bar for our guests. That meant buying out the bar and bringing in our own bartenders and providing EVERYTHING we would need to last all night. Benson sent us a very detailed shopping list on an excel sheet. He went out of his way and organized this list for us so we can shop appropriately and save money. His estimations were exact and I am amazed!!! The day of the wedding all we had to do was deliver the alcohol a couple hours early and his team and himself came to set up. They provided a menu on chalkboard for us. i LOVE that! since i didnt want to go out of my way to print something. i already had so much to do. Benson is quick with returning emails and text messages. it felt like talking to a friend. he always took care of us and made sure we had our favorite drink in our hands at all times. Benson and his team also managed our rowdy family and handled everything professionally. He DID card everyone which is a good thing since we could be liable if something happened to a minor. I am very happy we met Benson because he not only provided amazing service but his personality and charm made it even better! At the end of the night he packed up all of our left over alcohol in boxes and made sure we knew where it was. HIRE GOTR you wont be disappointed!!!

Words can’t describe how awesome Benson and his team are! All of the guests at our wedding raved about the bartenders. Drinks were awesome and GOTR made sure there was never a long wait for drinks. After working with Benson and his crew it’s obvious that he is not trying to earn your business but rather he wants to earn your friendship. He treated me and my fiancée like we have known each other for years! Y’all can’t go wrong with GOTR!

First off the ladies of Goose on the rocks: Jelyn, Wendy, and Melissa were very professional and very well trained on their craft. They were always smiling and greeted us, even tho they have seen us 5 or more times that evening. They knew how to make the beverages that was requested. They improvised and gave other selections if it wasn’t available. They also knew when it was time to say this will be the last one, due to the nature of the individual and made sure to keep it professional. I was the DJ and MC at the wedding we met them at and I will recommend them when the time comes for our new clients looking for professional bartenders. Thanks and Cheers!

We made such a fantastic decision by hiring GOTR for our March 4^th wedding!
Choosing GOTR: I researched way more bartenders than I should admit when trying to find the perfect people to serve alcohol for our big day, and finally stumbled upon Goose. They had a great website that wasn’t convoluted, Ben got back to my e-​mail super quick, the price was right, and my phone conversation with Ben was assuring and simple. They were an easy pick!
Planning: My husband and I weren’t huge drinkers and didn’t know much about alcohol, so we needed a few suggestions as to what signature cocktails we should try based on some drinks we knew we liked. Ben gave us some suggestions, which were good, but I ended up tasting something I really liked while we were out and about and deciding on a Strawberry Moscow Mule. At times, the e-​mails were a bit confusing in regards to the next steps of finalizing and choosing our menu. Like I said, we didn’t know much about alcohol at the time, so we were wanting more concrete suggestions as to what guests typically like from their experience. That was very minor though, we figured everything out together eventually and pretty seamlessly.
The Big Day: I honestly was so preoccupied with being the bride that I never got a chance to go say hi or even go get MYSELF a drink. Our bartenders, Jae and Delmy (and Benson), were a hit with our guests! I’ve had lots of guests since the wedding tell me how good the drinks were, how quick it was to get their drinks, and how kind, neat and professional each person was!
We did end up with quite a bit of leftover alcohol which kind of stinks because we can’t return it. We did have a party where we tried to get rid of some, but we’ve still got a lot left. I would much rather have had too much than not enough though! :)
Afterwards: GOTR sent us a very sweet e-​mail reviewing our wedding and everything that they did. We got a VERY sweet gift from them (THANK YOU SO MUCH), and I love that they’ve made a video of pictures and video they took at our wedding and have shared pictures on their social media!
Overall, Goose on the Rocks is the way to go! We LOVED them, and I’m sure you will too!

My wedding was in Dec 2014. So this is a little over a year late.
The morning after my wedding ohhhhhh I hated Benson and Goose on the Rocks because of the hangover I had, oh, it was worst. =P For the first and only time ever (so far), I blacked out. During my reception sometime after 9pm, because that’s when we sent the photographer, videographer home and my parents left. And then the party really started. JK. Considering the fact that at one point, my friends and my «our song» was Shots by LMFAO and Lil Jon, that’s when the shots started. Many of my bridesmaids who planned to drive home ended up crashing in the Best Western room we had gotten to be wedding HQ because they were not in any shape to drive. But I had an amazing time at my reception, I heard many many stories the following days.
People didn’t want to leave our wedding which is also attributable to our DJ who did a great job as well, but also because open bar, good bartenders and good people: you can’t go wrong.
But on a serious note, GOTR did an awesome job. I didn’t get a chance to really mingle with the bartenders because we had almost 300 guests at our wedding. But my only constructive criticism would be: during the planning meeting, ask how many of the guest list don’t drink or drink very little and find out what is the actual # of people to plan for. The shopping list I got from Benson was WAY too much considering out of the 300 guests, only 100 – 120 drank drank and many still planned to sober up and drive home. The rest were my parents’ guests that came, gave their gifts of money, ate and then left. (The Asian way) And I I know you never want to go Biblical and run out of alcohol because Jesus isn’t here to turn water into wine, but our shopping list was way too big for our guests.
Plus, we learned that in the state of CA, you cannot return alcohol even if unopened. So hundreds of dollars stuck in the form of alcohol unopened that we could have used in other ways in the wedding budget. Since then, we tried having parties to get rid of the alcohol but darn guests brought alcohol! I even took 3 handles to NY to give to friends/​sorority sisters who live there now because alcohol is so expensive there and I was taking a checked bag anyways.
And I was hesitant to try to sell it to others who are having parties online to try to recoup costs because alcohol is such a regulated trade that I didn’t want to get in trouble. Immediately after the wedding, I had reached out to Benson about providing him with a list of what we had leftover in case a future client wanted it, but with moving and a new job, we never got around to actually counting everything plus I figured that trying to coordinate with the other party, timing-​wise, gas and etc, that option wasn’t as practical.
So first, my poor sober sister (best MOH ever) had to transport the leftover alcohol from the reception venue to my parents’ house w/​everything else that needed to go home. We also had to move the very heavy in aggregate alcohol twice. From my parents’ house to my in-​laws and then to our current place. We finally got rid of it recently but I am not going to post on here how just in case somehow after all of my googling/​research, tweeting the ABC (they never replied), I could get in trouble. I’m 99.99 999% sure we’re okay.
But at the end of the day, even in hindsight if my options were A. GOTR messed up and I ran out of booze versus B. the leftovers we had, I would pick the leftovers. I know it’s hard to guesstimate and I rather not go dry. Plus my DH, his dad and groomsmen did the alcohol shopping. If I had done it, I probably would have shrank the list a little.
Overall, everything related to the day of the wedding = awesome.
Also, super friendly and easy to communicate with, I recommend them to everyone I know and even those I don’t know (part of party planning groups) But the most important thing, GOTR, Benson and his staff are very experienced and professional and they know their stuff (coming up with our menu and stuff). I think punctual too but that part my memory didn’t store.
Price wise, I don’t throw big enough parties to warrant bartending service but if I ever did in the future, I would call Benson up again for sure. If you are having a wedding and bartending isn’t already included somehow, I highly highly suggest you get GOTR. You will be so happy you did.
IMHO, wedding stress is primarily around whether or not the people you hired will provide the level of service you paid for/​hoped for. (So don’t go super cheap, it’ll bite you in the butt.) Take it from my experience, Goose on the Rocks is reliable, professional, and good at what they do.

I highly recommend Goose On The Rocks to anyone who needs a professional, friendly, fast and accurate bar tending service. I hired Goose for the fundraiser event, Viva La Muxer 2016, which had an attendance of 2,200, and they were amazing! They worked with us during planning to create a menu and bar set up ideal for our event. During the event we didn’t have to worry at all because their awesome staff had it all under control and the bars ran very smooth. Thank you Goose for helping make a successful VLM 2016! The BEST bartenders, EVER!
My husband and I heard about Goose on the Rocks (GOTR) from a good friend and we were extremely satisfied with their service at our wedding. Also, the months and days leading up to our wedding.
On my very first call with Ben (owner and CEO), he answered all my questions, addressed all my concerns, and even helped to make things easier by sharing his experiences. With this kind of interaction and first impression, I knew in fact that GOTR was going to be our bartenders for our special day. The kind of professionalism and promptness that Ben exuded, and times during the wedding planning process when my husband and I were unsure of our shopping list and signature drinks, Ben was very helpful at weighing out the pros and cons.
During and after our wedding, we got a lot of positive feedback regarding how well GOTR was and if there wasn’t something on the menu, Ben and his team (Chase and Wendy) were able to serve our guests accordingly. We also had a hiccup with one of our vendors, and as I mentioned to Ben in a personal e-​mail, him and his team of bartenders picked up where this specific vendor failed. It is always reassuring to know that a vendor like GOTR is able to be versatile and professional during these bumps in the road.
A few weeks later, they also created a beautiful montage video of our wedding! Not only did it capture our special day, but it also showcased their services, wonderful staff, and delicious cocktails!
My husband and I would hire GOTR in a heartbeat for any event. We think they are the BEST in the business and Ben and his team are true to their word and work hard at their craft to make our special day memorable.

WOW, the Goose on the rocks team are straight rockstars! This is a late review, but GOTR helped bartend our wedding and did an amazing job. I would have to say, our wedding was not easy, with multiple bars (in different locations), random drink request, and a bunch of wild drunks… GOTR handled it like professionals. Benson was amazing, and communicated with us multiple times prior to the wedding, giving us a detailed shopping list and very good recommendations. GOTR is a very experienced group and Benson is well known in the industry… he has great relationships and even connected us to a great videographer last minute. If you are interested in a professional bartending service, GOTR is your go to! You will not regret!

Goose on the rocks bartended the San Gabriel mission annual Lunar New Year festival and did a great job with their excellent service!

They gave great customer service when they bartended the lunar new year festival this year at the San Gabriel mission! Fast and friendly!

I was feeling thirsty and dropped by their booth at the Chinese Lunar New Year festival to try their beer. I got the Pale Ale and my boyfriend got the IPA. The Pale Ale was pretty good and if you want something stronger I would suggest the IPA. It was a little too bitter for my taste, but after the 4^th or 5^th sip it was tasting like any other beer. Goose on the rocks, not too bad… I’ll see you again!

Goose on the Rocks did an absolute awesome job bartending our wedding. We received a bunch of feedback from our friends and family about how friendly they were throughout the whole night.
During the planning stages of our wedding, Benson was very receptive and provided us with suggestions and guidance since we didn’t really know what to expect. It also made us feel comfortable choosing them because they had worked at our venue in the past.
The day of the wedding the bar looked great and every time my wife or I went to the bar, we were served immediately. We can’t say enough good things about Benson and his team.
