Eileen Turner and Julie Krigel, 2 designers with over 25 years experience, joined forces to create a unique company specializing in integrated design concepts for commercial and residential spaces.

EDJ 2 Edge integrates two design disciplines: corporate branding and interior design consulting. We take a strategic and comprehensive approach to building brand value, from logo through physical space. The result is a seamless and enduring environment. For residential spaces we work with clients to achieve a fluid living environment that reflects their own aesthetic.

Julie K. — Eileen T.

Business Owner

Julie Krigel was born and raised in San Jose. She graduated UCLA with a BA in design and lived and worked in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Silicon Valley as a freelance graphic designer. She specialized in corporate ID, branding and communications.

Eileen Turner was born and raised in New York City. She graduated with a BFA from SUNY Buffalo and founded Eye For Design in Manhattan, specializing in Corporate Communications, Branding and Packaging.

Since they began collaborating Eileen and Julie have worked as interior designers, consulting on color, finishes, furnishings and art

I choose EDJ 2 Edge because of the stunning work they had done with commercial spaces. I felt that their eye for color and design would work beautifully for me and my new home: I was not disappointed. I bought a nearly-​new townhouse that had good bones, but was pretty generic. Julie & Eileen completely met my challenge of giving it personality, while reflecting my tastes and desired aesthetic. They were involved in every aspect of my project, from choosing a color palette to working with my general contractor, to selecting flooring, furniture and bed linens. Most importantly to me, they were happy to work with what I had, augmenting rather than asking me to ditch all my stuff. They are quite conscientious about budget and very good communicators — they check in, they come by, they are just as emotionally invested in my home as I am. Can’t way enough good things about my experience with them!

I have nothing but positives to say about EDJ 2 Edge. I have used them for both graphic design and interior design, and my experience is universally positive. They designed my business cards, letterhead, envelopes, & other printed materials to reflect the professional image I wanted to convey. Eventually, I’ll probably also have them design my website. They’re currently working with me on a «remodel» of my office (new furniture, paint color, carpet, ceiling panels, doors & door frames, etc.). They have helped me select things that go together nicely, are stylish, and within my budget. They’ve saved me from having to do a lot of legwork, are pleasant to work with, honest. & reasonably-​priced. I highly recommend them.
