I was shocked with the price of tember glass its $ 29.99 when he said about the life warranty I felt happy for the next time when I want to change the glass for my phone it’s only $ 10 really it’s amazing and I suggest all of my friends to visit your kiosk when they have the broken lcd and for any repairs… Thanks for the amazing service…

I went to the booth to get the screen on my iPhone 6 replaced. The gentleman workings name was Bashu. This guy did an excellent job in a flash! He was friendly and funny. I thought the price was reasonable but it seemed that Bashu made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be bringing the other screens my wife and kids break back to this location

I have purchased every phone case here for the last few years I have always had very good service by Rami B. He is very helpful and this last time when I visited I got a phone case that I wasn’t sure about but their policy is a 7 day exchange. Came back 3 days latter to exchange it like their policy said and was greeted by a pushy little man named Bashu S. He said they didn’t do exchanges then maybe you should change the receipt because you’re receipt says you do. After some arguing about it he threw my phone down did the exchange and then said the case I was getting was ten more dollars then the last. I paid thinking he was being honest only to find about 5 mins latter he ripped me off and the receipt now read $ 10 phone repair. Online the actual manufactures retail value was $ 29.99. When we went back they refused to return the money he said we mark up the price because we are a vendor at the mall and we need to make more money for rent a bunch of nonsense. This guy is a liar and I will make sure someone handles this matter from their corporate headquarters or the owner.

I had a not so pleasant experience but after communicating with Idan it was something out of his control. I must say I am pleased how he went above and beyond in making me a satisfied customer. I think their prices are competitive and will be coming back if I need service again. Thank you Idan for making me feel like my business matters because if that I will be a returning customer. I know small businesses work harder than the big conglomerates and because of that I applaud you.

I went to Oakridge to purchase a new cover for my I-​Phone 6. I stumbled on PlayNTalk. I was very impressed with 2 things: 1) they had a nice selection of covers and 2) they asked the right questions, helping me select the optimal construct and color. I was very pleased with the experience and would absolutely shop there again.

I came into Valley Fair looking to fix my broken camera lens on my iPhone 6. I figured it shouldn’t cost to much as it was only the lens. I went to the smaller repair shop near the vans store and was told it would be $ 45 but then I was told it might be more than just the lens. He opened up my phone then said he wouldn’t be able to do it even if he wanted since he would have to replace the entire frame. Ok… I wasn’t sure what to believe so I called a few shops and they said and quoted the new fix at $ 65 and up. I decided to come back and give this place a try and boy am I glad I did. Lots of the shops I looked into didn’t even have the pieces needed to «replace my frame.»
I came here and was told that they could fix it but the employee who knew how was not working today. He would be back tomorrow. But the thing about that is, I never out grew my college A grade procrastination and needed it done ASAP since I would be taking a flight in the am, out of San Francisco. Typical, its now or never melodrama. The male employee and his female coworker began talking and he said they had someone who could fix it but she was at their Oakridge location. Her name was Natasha. Great! I can definitely drive to Oakridge because it also has a Target where I can do the rest of the errands that I procrastinated on the night before a trip! So he packs up my piece since Natasha may not have it and I pay. I ask if he could give her a call and warn her I was on my way.
I come by their kiosk in front of Aldo inside Oakridge and Natasha is helping a customer put on a case. I wait until she’s done then approach her while holding up my triple taped wrapped camera lens and as I start to say why I was there, she says, «ah yes!.» Ok cool! She knew who I was and what I needed without me having to say. Natasha asks me to come back in 15 – 20 minutes.
Yes, I did immediately go into Spencer’s to try and snapchat all their penis memorabilia to forget I did not have my phone. Yes, did feel like an eternity. Yes, I did experience phantom vibrate. Yes, I did experience ghost phone at least 2 times before coming back to get it. Yes, I believe that Natasha completed the job before I started to feel withdrawals.

My screen was shattered and now it looks brand new! When I came back 15 minted later it was all finished and looking amazing. Thank you for the awesome customer service and my new screen!

I broke my phone and took it to the Apple Store during my lunch hour from work. I was told I needed to make an appointment, and the only spot available was next week. I passed this kiosk on the way to my car and saw that they do repairs. They fixed my phone in 20 minutes and helped me pick out a case and screen protector so it doesn’t happen again. The cases are good quality and the service was great. Over all it was quick and professional.

BUYER BEWARE!!!
They mounted a defective screen for my iPhone 5s, so that I couldn’t really use it after (the screen that doesn’t allow proximity sensor to work properly, hence causing different buttons like mute or speaker to be pushed while having a call). I paid for this replacement $ 140 ($ 85 screen + 50 or 60 service fee of the work done+something for home button replacement)
Because I live in San Francisco, but fixed my phone here in San Jose (it was an emergency) I had a chance to came back to the store only 3 month and 1 week later after the initial screen replacement.
The guy who fixed the phone confirmed that it was a problem with the screen they mounted before. He called his manager (I guess owner of the place) and manager said I have to pay again because I am a week over their warranty period. I explained the situation, he was still insisting on me paying for the screen replacement again. And they didn’t hesitate to mention that since then the price of the screen increased from $ 85 to $ 95.
So I had to pay $ 140 in the beginning for them to mount a defective screen to my phone and now they were insisting on me paying even more for THEM TO FIX THEIR MISTAKES!!!
This is just unacceptable. They way the manager (owner) treats his customers is awful.
Later on I checked other reviews on This place and realized that there are plenty of other customers with the same problem! THEY MOUNT DEFECTIVE SCREENS and then refuse to fix it!

This place is not worth your money, they are a fraud. Poor installation on my iPhone 6s where my screen would not disengage when on a phone call. My phone kept pushing buttons. Horrible experience; just play it safe and go to apple

Do not go here. I had my iPhone 6 plus screen replaced after I cracked it and it wasn’t installed correctly. My screen wouldn’t turn off when I was on a call so it would press buttons. I went back 2 days later because I work and they tried to convince me to purchase a $ 79 screen protector. I should have gone to Apple and waited in line… Big mistake on my part

Buyer beware. I came here to have the screen replaced on my iphone6+ for $ 129 which is the same price apple charges. After replacing the screen, I received a phone call about an hr after leaving and the sensor would not turn off causing numbers to be pressed while on call. I realized the screen was not installed properly as there was a gap between screen and phone. I tired pushing it in which resulted in a tension crack. I immediately called and left them a voicemail about my issues, brought the phone in and they told me there is nothing they can do.
Do not do business here. I was willing to give this small business a chance and it did not work out for me. I walked 10 steps over to apple and had them replace the screen for the same price.

Just fixed my phone here, the lady was really nice and helpful, she fixed my phone in 15 minutes, I checked some other places and here I got the best price, iPhone 6 screen repair for $ 110, I also got 90 days warranty and purchase tempered glass with a lifetime warranty.

I shattered the front of my iPhone 5s screen yesterday and I was looking for a place with decent pricing and came across iPlayNtalk.
I walked into the mall (it’s right in front of the PINK store in Oakridge), met Idan who owns the kiosk and got my phone fixed in 20min! Idan knows what he is talking about, pleasure to talk with, great price for the work that was done and he knows what he is doing.

Idan was really helpful and straight forward! I shattered my screen last week and was looking around to get a good deal. He fixed it pretty quickly in about 20 minutes and even gave me a free tempered glass because I also work in the mall. Really good service I would recommend it, and they give you a 3 month warranty unlike other places in the mall!

I broke my iPhone 5s few days ago i try to go to the Apple Store but they told me I need to have an appointment and it will be 200 dollar I looked up on Unilocal and I found Iplayntalk was the nearest in the area 3^rd floor in Westfield mall next to Foot locker the technician Sabino was very nice and he immediately start work on my phone I came back after 20 min it was ready and they even gave me a deal on a tempered glass I highly recommended very nice stuff and very honest and professional.

I bought a case for my iPhone 6. I have a Lifeproof one and my daughter wanted something similar. They sold me a case quoted $ 79!said it was the cheapest I would find it … Found it on Amazon for $ 39 big price difference. inside the box everything is written in Chinese it states one year warranty but has no mention of company, mailing address or customer service phone number. Very fishy. Isn’t that important to have on a product when you do business here in the U.S.A ?

The store opens around 11am. I went in today to purchase a buff screen protector for iPad Air 2. The staff here will clean your iPad with an alcohol wipe, then use some tape to remove any dust prior to applying it. The screen protector is anti-​scratch even keys or hammer will not scratch it and lifetime warranty replacement for a nominal fee
Service is friendly, little pushy but they do stand behind their products if you have issues. 4 stars
They also sell cases Otter box, etc, I prefer Speck grip which they did not carry. They carry a clone called Skech but I did not like it. Bought my case from Speck online
