Dr. Brown is wonderful. She diagnosed a thyroid problem that Kaiser had missed entirely. She truly cares about the wellbeing of her patients.

So far I had a very good experience with Dr. Brown. I feel like Naturopathic doctors in general always fulfill my expectations.
We were able to pinpoint areas of trouble and she made sound recommendations.
The only disadvantage is that you have to pay out of pocket but it’s worth it.

Dr. Brown is a great all-​around health care physician. She has helped me manage a long term scapular pain issue that has been an on-​going issue for years. Allopathic medicine and PT were basically useless. Chiropractic helped, but acupuncture with Dr. Brown has allowed me to know what it is to feel pain free again.

I absolutely love Dr. Brown! I have been getting acupuncture from her for over a year and she has helped me so much! Not only is she just super sweet and really takes her time to listen to exactly what it is you need, she’s also just really good at what she does! You can tell that she is very passionate about helping people. I’m so grateful that I found her. If you are looking for the best «holistic healer» (like Michelle K referred to her as below) then definitely go see Dr. Brown because she is the best!

Dr. Brown has been an incredible help to me as I have worked through the transition into perimenopause. She listened to my symptoms, sent me for comprehensive testing and helped me to understand the results. Dr. Brown explained ALL of the treatment options, including the pros and cons of each.

Dr. Kimberly Brown is an amazing holistic healer. With acupuncture she has relieved my sciatic pain that has plagued me for years now. My name is Ruby and i started going to Dr. Brown March of
2013 for the treatment of perimenopausel symptoms. Dr. Brown has me on bio identical hormones which i highly recommend it has made me feel like a normal human being again, lol. Hello All, Let me start by just saying «wow» I am someone who like to think that «you put good out you get good back» Well Dr Brown, is better than «good» she is «as good as they get! well on my first visit Dr Brown took her time, let me know exactly what was going to happen, I instantly felt I could trust her and let me say (when someone is putting needles in you its GREAT to have a sense of trust! at this intimate office in san José, I started to realize I CAN find peace! Dr Brown has changed my life and my way of thinking. Every time I come in she is there to ease the pain of the weeks that have passed. She can help you with headaches, nausea, migraines, weight gain! cravings, or MAYBE YOU JUST NEED to shut up in your head (that was me) hahaha! Dr. Brown is a wonderful healer. She is patient and kind and extremely knowledgeable. She made my shoulder and neck pain disappear after years of suffering. She is also prompt and charges extremely fair prices. i highly recommend her for acupuncture.

After three years of being told that I was perfectly healthy by mainstream physicians, yet being practically bed-​ridden from joint pain, extreme fatigue and depression, I decided to find a naturopathic doctor that would take on my condition.
Finding Dr. Brown has changed my life! I tell people that she actually treats the CAUSE of the symptoms – she doesn’t just placate those symptoms. Dr. Brown realizes that pain is the body’s response to a deeper condition that needs to be addressed, and then she begins treating that condition.

I was skeptical and I was in a lot of pain in my shoulder. I had never done acupuncture before and was pessimistic on how it would work.
I’m SO happy I went to Dr. Brown. She is caring, available, and is great at what she does. She’s also a great listener. The morning after the appointment, I felt the least pain in my shoulder than I had for 2 years.
If anything, she does her job too well. I cancelled my appointment with her because my pain has lessened so.

Here is my story. Had some blood sugar issues which may have caused some major pain in my feet. I spent the last three months dealing with the doctors at the clinic I walked into. Each time I spent over three hours waiting to see the doctor one time 2 and a half hours in the exam room! This got me about two minutes to explain my issues. They did not listen and the symptoms actually became worse even though I got down to a weight not sceen since I got my driver’s liscense 31 years ago. Desperate to relieve the pain I showed up at Dr. Browns’s doorstep. She did not make me wait a week for an appointment and actually saw me the next day when she was not scheduled to work! She then spent about 45 minutes asking questions and taking notes. She made a few recommendations and I am on my way to solving my pain issues. I would recommend Dr. Brown to everyone that wants a good doctor that takes the time to listen and not have preconceived ideas on how to treat patients.

This by far was THE BEST medical visit that I have ever had. Dr. Brown was very personable, thorough and easy to talk to and she really knows her business. She is empathetic to the issues that you have going on and explains things so that tjey are easy to understand. This was also my very first accupuncture session as well and I really enjoyed it! I will continue to work with Dr. Brown as well as recommend her to anyone that lives or will be in the San Jose area.

I met Dr. Brown when I recently moved to the area. I needed to get some relief for constant shoulder and neck pain. I’ve never tried accupuncture but I’ve been open to try it for my pain problems. Dr. Brown was very kind in explaining to me why it would help and what would happen so I would not be surprised by the procedure and I would know what to expect. She has a gentle bedside manner and does not come across as cold and aloof like a lot of other doctors I’ve met.
I’ve seen her 4 times already and I’m always happy to go back for a treatment knowing that I don’t need get stressed about the appointment since I know what to expect. She’s also been to very helpful in addressing other medical questions I have and she is not arrogant like a lot of doctors in admiting when when a question is outside of her jurisdiction and referring me to someone more specialized.
Besides seeing Dr. Brown for «natural medicine» I also recommend her for accupuncture.

Dr. Brown has great ideas, she is an excellent listener. I had 3 naturopathic doctors to interview; after our first visit I felt a connection with her and didn’t bother to call anyone else on my list. She is very open about different types of treatments, she is knowledgeable about women’s hormones and she is very responsive. I like being able to reach her via phone and email, she is very prompt with her replies, she was able to implement my current supplements with supplements that she recommends. I like her honesty, knowledge and kindness.
