I had my cleaning there with julia, she is very sweet and of course professional lady.
First time in my life, someone explained so detailed about flossing and how to take care of my gum. (i’ll be good and show you result 6 months later)
Dr Pan came over to do a quick check up and he is very honest and thinking on the patient’s side. I had a couple old fillings from so many years ago, he said only one needs to be done and he explained why. I’ve heard stories somewhere else that the dentist try to dig as much money as they could (such as doing deep clean than just regular cleaning, making condition sound worse so the patients get panic and pay whatever to fix it). Dr Pan said a few things that we’ll just watch for now.
They took over the dental office so some of the device may be a little old, but other than that it was great finding a good honest dentist and hygienist.

Dr. Pan was recommended to me from a friend. I was home visit my parents in the Bay Area for Thanksgiving and my mom had somehow cracked one of her lower front tooth. Although she was not in pain, I wanted her to get it fixed ASAP in time for Christmas photos. I called Dr. Pan’s office and they were able to schedule my mom in right away. The office staff and Dr. Pan were very accommodating and very nice. It’s hard to find dental offices with such great customer service! Dr. Pan explained the procedure and timeline and everything was scheduled. My mom said it was painless and that she’s never had such a positive dental visit. I highly recommend this dental office!

I have now been to Dr. Pan’s dental office 2 times. I normally post my Unilocal reviews after several visits. After reading the 5 star reviews and good comments about Dr. Pan I decided to give him a try since I was not happy with my last dentist. All I have to say is Dr. Pan is a very great dentist. He sat and listened to my concerns and recommended what should be taken care of now and how to care for my teeth. As an adult I am still scared of shots and drillings. I told him to be very gently and believe it or not I didn’t even feel any pain when he gave me the shot. He is very professional and best of all very flexible with my work schedule. His receptionist is very nice and helped me booked my next 6 month appointment for my teeth cleaning! And lastly this is not related to his dental review, but we also shared a common hobby… which is owning a salt water fish tank. We gave me lots of helpful tips. Thanks Dr. Pan!!! I normally don’t get this excited to find a new dentist but it is really great to have a new dentist in my area that I can relate too and feel welcomed!

What a wonderful Dentist! Great at his craft and super knowledgeable! I was between a rock and a hard place… I was diagnosed with many cavities with another dentist, but with Rick’s expertise he’s was able to identified some diagnosis as «incipient» that should only be on «watch» list. I was so scared of the drills during the filling procedure, his technique made my filling procedure virtually painless without anesthesia (on the surface cavities.) He even taught me a thing a two about the chemistry of dental fillings! He was super personable and had a great sense of humor. I came all the way from Hercules to see him, just wonderful wonderful Dentist!

Dr. Pan is new to this area but he seems to be starting out well. I hadn’t had my teeth cleaned for awhile and, even though they’re still breathtaking, I figured i needed a cleaning for hygiene reasons.
I had known the old dentist here behind the old flames restaurant (not there anymore) and called to make an appointment. Dr. Pan’s office is pretty flexible when it comes to scheduling and they had plenty of openings 9 to 6pm, plus Saturday, which is good for me.
I didn’t have to wait and it’s nice this day and age to actually get to spend a lot of time with dentist. He also has a very helpful hygienist who was very chatty but also gentle, and did a good job.
Dr. Pan did my x-​rays, cleaned my teeth, all with minimal discomfort. Im someone who usually is afraid of people probing in my mouth with sharp things but this wasn’t half bad. Dr. Pan made me feel less terrified and for that i think he gets an excellent rating

I have been Dr. Rick Pan’s patient for a long time now and after every visit I always feel more confident and comfortable with my teeth and smile. Dr. Pan is very professional with his work and he makes sure your visits with him are always successful. He answers all your concerns and questions to the best of his ability and gives you his professional opinion on what and how to deal with the problems.
