Noe and his crew did a great job filling our pool. They kept our place as clean as possible and finished the job before the stated time. His quote was reasonable comparing to others. Thank you Noe!

We were referred to Noecon by a website «next door» by one of the neighbors. We did have two other companies come out for quotes but liked Noe, the owner. His personality, explanation of how work was to be done, his patience and honesty were the deciding factors why we went with his company.
We were scheduled to have this work done in December but accelerated it til October. Noe had another customer booked for the time we were available but was able to work around our schedule which was quite nice.
Noe and Martin completed the work in three days — drilling, breaking down the concrete the
first day, filling in the dirt the second day and the third day cleaning out our driveway where all the dirt was and surrounding areas. The clean up was remarkable and you would of never known we had three large machines in our backyard.
He went above and beyond by patching concrete cracks, modifying plumbing to remove pool
filling valve, put a temporary fence up til we get a permanent one in and even taking photos for us and placing in a nice book for us for a souvenir.
Very pleased with how smoothly everything went and they were always on time and job

Noe filled-​in a large in-​ground pool for us, including removal of concrete decking all around the pool in April 2015. Noël did a great job. The work was done as scheduled and he kept us informed about every step in the process. His quote was not the lowest among the three quotes we got, but they were all within a couple of hundred dollars of each other, and Noël came with the best recommendations from his clients, so we chose him. He was kind, courteous, and accommodating of our requests for scheduling the heavy concrete breaking work, since we had an infant at home and didnt want much noise when the infant was asleep.

We just bought an old house in Atherton with a deep swimming pool built too close to the house. It was a pleasure having Noecon General Engineering Contractor team help us in removing the pool. In 10 long days of hard work, Noe and his friendly team have transformed a leaked, ugly and dangerously looking pool (deep and too close to the house) into a spacious leveled field of plantable soil. As a young, energetic and considerate owner of his company, Noe has been diligently involved in all challenging activities of the swimming pool’s Full Engineered Removal project: getting the permit from the town of Atherton, getting the geotech engineer’s plan and compaction test results, driving the bobcats to demolish and later back fill the pool with good dirt, hauling the debris, passing inspections, and cleaning up after completion. He took a lion’s share in the burden of tough, heavy, noisy, tiresome works to help his workers. Noe is honest, punctual, polite, patient and helpful. We hired Noe to remove an old pool in our home we bought a few months back. His price was fair and he looked very honest. Which is why we choose him for the job. They were on time and did the job well. When I mentioned that I don’t want the original shape of the pool seen (ours was an oval), he even made it a rectangle and cut off the concrete on edges where we wanted to put a raised bed for fruit tress. He was also cooperative when we wanted him to put topsoil on the filled-​in site and bought bags from homedepot! 5 stars for the service! Thank you! I recently had my pool removed. After calling several companies, decided on NOECON to do the work. They were more reasonable in price, and very knowledgeable in pool removal.
Noe came and talked to us and explained how the job was going to be done, which also included the permit. The workers were very professional and removed the deck and pool in one day. They also hauled debris away. The equipment and dirt were delivered on time, which made the job flow well.
After the pool was removed and dirt covered the hole, they spent a whole day cleaning the driveway, street, and back yard. The whole job took only four days to complete.

We wanted to close the swimming pool in our home because our children grew up and we don’t use it very much. This year, with electricity and water restrictions, we decided to demolish the pool and use that space for a backyard garden. We got 5 quotes from different people. We talked to various people and checked out Unilocal reviews and though all the people who gave quotes are highly rated, we were impressed by Noe. His quote was not the lowest but I felt that he was sincere, knew what needs to be done and was available for the dates that we want.
He did an excellent job overall. His two people were hard workers, very helpful and knew what they were doing. With minimal damage to the ground that they were moving Bobcats, they completed the job thoroughly and within time. IN addition, when i asked them to cut the concrete around the pool, they came up with a design that will match other parts of the concrete and I was impressed. Finally, when they had to put some wood around a tree and steps in the back yard, they replaced the old wood and put in some concrete to make sure what they do is excellent job. It was much above and beyond what is expected.
To summarize, Noe and his people were professional, on time, did excellent job and went above and beyond the contract to keep me happy. They were very nice people to deal with and yesterday Noe waited for 2 hours for the San Jose Inspector to come and certify the project.

Noe did an excellent job! After looking at the pool, he gave us a quote, which was reasonable compared to the other quotes we had gotten, and he explained the process very well. He was willing to take us to his previous projects similar to ours and show us what he would do. He did everything he promised and was a very nice person in general. He cleaned up the pool surroundings and the back yard, front yard and even the neighbor’s property after finishing up the job. When my wife and I decided to demolish our inground pool in San Jose, I interviewed 7 contractors, all with good reputation from Unilocal/​google or from friend/​family referrals. Noe stood out because of his caring manner, sincere and accountability. He texted me in the weekend to change the Monday appointment for free estimate because of his plane delay (he was on vacation). Some other contractors did not answer to my repeated phone calls for estimate or didn’t provide a written contract after giving the estimate verbally. During the initial visit, Noe explained in details what he was going to do, the permit and the inspection by the city (before and after), the length of time, the equipment & the clean-​up after and the number of people involved. Noe sent me the contract by email within a couple days. Even though Noe’s estimate was not the cheapest (but competitive in the middle), I liked the fact that he would do the demolition work himself and he answered to my calls & text messages promptly. His company in Alviso is close to Almaden/​Branham area of San Jose (far away companies would quote higher to move their equipment). When my pool water was drained, Noe found out my house’s drain pipe was clogged. I called a plumbing service but the plumber thought the water pump was too strong for the house drain line so he left without doing anything (I paid $ 20 for service call). Noe used a high pressure hose to clear out my drain pipe. Everything went well afterward. The work was done well and exactly as he said to me during the estimate visit. He even talked to my 2 neighbors to address their concern about noise and pool water drainage and everybody was pleased afterward. Noe’s initial time estimate was 5 days but he completed in 4. Both my wife and I are happy about his quality of work, the clean-​up and the look of our backyard without pool. Noe was careful about moving his Bobcat truck across my front lawn to the rear of house and did not run over any sprinkler head. All my sprinkler heads worked afterward. My fence was put back properly. I asked Noe to save a light post on the concrete pool deck if possible and he did.
In summary, I would highly recommend Noe Gonzalez of NOECON to anyone who considers pool removal for their houses. He is a man of quality, honesty and accountability.

I interviewed 3 pool demo contractors and selected Noe @ Noecon for a full pool and decking excavation job. Noe noticed things that the other contractors didn’t — for instance, taking out the decking would cause too much of a step down from a door to ground level (apparently a possible code violation). Noe also was very responsive to emails and really seemed to understand all the rules (contracting and construction). His contract was more complete than another contractor’s. I checked his license on the CSLB web site and called his insurance company and everything checked out. He started exactly on the day he predicted he would start, showed up every morning on time, and completed the job within the estimated time. This was even as issues came up that were out of his control. There were several issues that arose on my job that were not anticipated, yet because he is a GC, could could address all them. In fact, he went above and beyond in this regard in addressing issues and I was totally impressed with his ability to be a jack of all trades. At the risk of sounding like a shill, I just can’t say enough good things about how the project turned out with Noe and have no problem fully endorsing him.

When I decided to remove our back yard pool I researched contractors the best I could.
I was impressed with the Unilocal reviews for Noe. He seemed like a relaxed and capable person when he came to the house to give me the estimate. I felt comfortable speaking with him and I knew I could work with him. His bid was right in the middle of the three contractors I called. I had no idea the process would involve anything more then filling in the pool with dirt. However, before we were finished he found a gas line problem that had existed for years despite three other contractors coming to the house to install a gas cooktop, a tankless hot water heater and a new HVAC system. They were all licensed and everyone of them used this same unsafe cobbled together gas line. Of course nothing was said to me about not following building codes! Noe repaired the problem in order for the project to pass inspection. As a general contractor he can work with electric, gas and plumbing problems. The gas line fix was done at no additional cost to me. Noe originally told me the job to fill in the pool would take 4 — 5 days. As he was finishing the job on day 3, well in advance of 5 days, water started to flow from a spot in the parking strip into the street and down the storm drain. After digging quite deep into this area of the parking strip, Noe discovered the water was leaking from the main water line to my house! Apparently this «pipe» original to the property from 1968 had a slow leak from the cement patch used to connect to pieces of the pipe that had been damaged sometime in the past!!! A cement patch! I couldn’t believe it! But I saw it with my own eyes. I think the weight and vibration caused by the semi trucks backing over this part of the parking strip to dump the dirt used to fill the pool onto my front yard was the last straw for this old, patched area of the water line. I was sick with the thought of finding someone to fix this water line, and the added expense over and above the cost of removing the pool. Noe said «we do water lines». He had turned off the water to my house to stop the leak, so I was without water for about 18 hours. He arrived the next day with the materials to temporarily patch the water line, so I could have water again, pending obtaining the permit and putting me on his schedule to replace the main line.
Its an older house and things happen! But by contracting with Noe who is a general contractor the problems encountered along the way, separate from filling in the pool, were all addressed as they came up. Can’t ask for more then that! Noe told me at the beginning of the job «I won’t leave until you are happy». He kept his word. I would whole– heartedly recommend the services of Noecon General Engineering Contractor (Noe) to anyone. PS —his wife Veronica is a joy to work with over any details of your project. She’ll back to you with answers to your questions whenever Noe cannot answer his cell phone. They are a great team!

I searched all the review sites and tentatively chose Noe to remove our 50 yrs old pool. Then I called references that Noe provided. I can really feel how satisfied Noe’s customer were. Without much doubt, I picked Noe to do the work.
It proved to a really wise decision! Noe explained to me all the details of the work and city requirement and he would exceed all these requirement.
He really a hard work. He came early in the morning, and worked till the evening. It was amazing looking him how he handled these big diggers, bobcats so skillfully. He compacted each layer to make sure it would not sink in the future. He gave 5 yrs warrantees for sinking.
After all the work has been done, he cleaned up everything and repaired the broken sprinkler, and also pulled all the wires and sealed gas pipes, and also covered electrical panels.
He is always smiling and it is really a joy to work with him.
I would recommend him to very one.

NOECON completed a full removal of our large swimming pool early this month. We were extremely impressed with the non-​stop hard work that Noe did during the project as well as his customer service. He aims to please.
Day 0– the pool was drained
Day 1– after Noe got permits for the project he started the demolition of the pool
Day 2– the concrete decking around the pool was pulled out and broken up
Day 3– the broken up pool and deck were removed and
Day 4 – 6 filling the hole with loads and loads of soil
Day 7−8−− removal of the pool equipment and clean up.
Noe does all of the demolition himself. (He had a helper on days when he was filling the hole.) The project was done quickly because Noe worked effciently over long hours with few breaks, including on a Saturday.
Some details you should be aware of if you are thinking of a project like this. Even though the the machinery used is relatively small, this project is VERY noisy. In order to access the work site, the very heavy equipment is almost certain to damage existing landscaping and/​or irrigation plumbing. In our case, Noe limited the collateral damage, though it would have been nice to know about this in advance. (We had irrigation plumbing that was not buried deep enough to be safe from the project.)
Summary– NOECON’s price was competitive and we are extremely pleased with the result. We would not hesitate to recommend NOECON to friends.

We decided to get rid of our pool after the kids stopped using it. We contacted several contractors, and had several no-​shows. Noe showed up at the time agreed, offered very useful information, and submitted a very economical bid.
The construction went flawlessly, and we sailed through the inspections (despite being in Los Gatos.) In fact, as the inspector was walking out with Noe, they were talking about getting rid of his pool!
