Using the Unilocal check-​in, I paid $ 4 per notarized document. That’s a steal compared to the typical $ 10. Even at $ 5, that’s still a deal. I paid $ 12 to have 3 documents notarized instead of paying $ 30. I would not hesitate to go here to have something notarized.

I’ve been a long time member of Unilocal but this is only my 3rd or 4th review. I only review if the service is really good or really bad. This is pertaining to notary.
I had to get some confusing documents notarized and was helped by the younger Indian woman. She was very patient, friendly and explained thoroughly why and where I needed to sign. She definitely put me at ease making sure all my documents were good to go. There was one document where there were some discrepancies and she made sure it was the correct information. Thank you $ 5 dollar notary!

The lady who does notary is very rude and greedy. She takes advantages of people who don’t know about notary. She notarized and charged the signature that just needs witnesses, does NOT need to be notarized when customers don’t know that.
When questioned about what she did, she blamed the customers and said that is customers’ fault for not knowing about notary and customers need to take notary class. She claimed she «do not have to tell the customers which signature needs notary» and customers «don’t need to trust her», that is her way to do the business.
So if you don’t know anout notary and don’t want to be cheated, you better go somewhere else. There are several places charging $ 5 for each signature. You may pay $ 1 more than this place, but wouldn’t be cheated and pay extra for unnecessary notary.

Cashier (She was American-​Indian I guess) is very rude. She told me that she is the manager but I’m pretty sure she is just a worker there. Once I Stepped into the place, she was talking with her friend on phone (in hindu language I guess) and even didn’t care about me for a while. And then with an arrogant attitude did my requests fretfully. At one point because I misunderstood her, I wanted to change the type of shipping type to priority and she acted arrogantly. No way to give even a single star…

Very Rude in responding. If you take any service and we get back to them with questions. They will straight away tell they are not responsible. IF so why do they do service? Sick customer service .

If you request an apostille through them, it will cost you over $ 85 total (for the California Sec. of State and more if sending to D.C.). If you can wait 2 – 4 weeks, send a request for an apostille yourself (check the Sec. Of State site or the D.C. one for federal docs). It will cost $ 20 plus a stamp. You can also drive to Sacramento and they will do it the same day.
I would only use the apostille service at this location and pay the premium if I absolutely had to have the apostille in 2 days and could not drive to Sacramento myself.
Other than the above mentioned, I would come here for notary, mail, etc. The people here were friendly, helpful and quick.
