One Stop Auto

On Saturday, January 30^th, 2016, my daughter moved back to San Jose California and we towed her car from Arizona to California because she thought her clutch was grinding and it may break down. When we got to San Jose, I noticed driving her car that her brake light on the front console was lit up even when the had brake was down. My daughter had an interview at 9:00 am at OTF in Willow Glen. So I carefully drove her to her interview looked up Unilocal and found this shop. It had great testimonials so I called and asked if I could bring the Honda Civic in. The person that answered scheduled an appointment and I quickly drove down there. Andy looked at it in a matter of 10 minutes, gave me a quote (which was very reasonable), and was done in 2 ½ hours. I have to say Andy is very thorough and very knowledgeable. He said the car was unsafe to drive, so I act fast! I would recommend this shop to everyone as they are fast, honest, and courteous.

I just met Andy couple days ago and he has not let me down and he went beyond to check out what’s going on with my car just minor things popping up but he checked it all out for me and got my car back to 100 percent awesome mechanic and awesome person at the same time

Andy and his staff were very efficient. I needed to get my starter replaced. They explained to be about the process. He let me know in advance of what to expect.
The process was quick and most importantly not stressful. They are very fair with their price too. They do good quality work. Overall, I would go here again and recommend this to my family and friends.

Andy the owner little quite, but very nice. I have problem with my 2011 Audi rear brake. Called couple places, to see if they can do the rear brake with the electric parking brake. And most shop don’t have the special machine to retract the electric parking brake. One stop auto, have that machine and charge me a reasonable price. Thx Andy

It has been getting really foggy lately in my area and I needed to install fog lights for my car. I was in San Jose and stumbled upon One Stop Auto. I noticed they just opened a few month ago and decided to give it a try.
When I walked into the office, I was immediately greeted by the owner, Andy. I told him that I needed fog lights installed. I actually purchased the fog lights already from amazon. So, I asked him about how much labor would costs and how long it would take.
He gave me a pretty reasonable price for the labor and was able to work on my car right away. He said it will take a few hours. I left my car there and had my friend pick me up for lunch. Then two hours later, I received a call from Andy and my car was ready for pickup.
I would definitely recommend my family and friends to One Stop Auto. They are pretty knowledgeable, honest and can get the job done right and fast! Thanks Andy! You are definitely my mechanic of choice from now on!

Is this real life?! After living in San Jose for 9 years I’ve FINALLY found my mechanic & they’re located less than 2 minutes away from my house!
My 2008 Honda Civic died on me yesterday at work & with a new battery installed, I knew something was wrong. My BF had stopped by to take a look at it & knew it was my starter. So I looked on Unilocal & found One Stop. I had talked to Andy’s brother this morning & asked for a quote on a new starter & let me tell you, their prices are VERY reasonable compared to what other shops are charging.
My car was towed to the shop at 11am & it was done by 2:30pm… Right on time before I start work. Andy was great! Super friendly & professional.
I am beyond happy & satisfied.
Definitely recommend this place to anyone who is having car trouble.

My Ford Ranger had a problem with the cooling system in that it was losing coolant. Another shop had looked at it and told me the truck probably had a blown head gasket and needed an engine job. This didn’t sound right to me so I took my truck to Andy at One Stop Auto. He performed a pressure test and found that the radiator was leaking. He diagnosed and replaced the radiator and I had my truck back in 4 hours. Andy showed me the old radiator and where the leak was. The bill was quite reasonable.
I found One Stop Auto to be highly competent and professional. I will return when I have other auto repair needs. It is pleasing to discover a new honest and reliable repair shop that you can depend on. Thanks Andy!

I took my car in because the brakes were squeaking. At first, it was squeaking during braking, now it’s squeaking while driving at low speeds.
Andy did a quick inspection and found that the brakes were really low and that the metal tab was causing the noise. It would have costed me over $ 600 to get it replaced with OEM parts at the dealer (Brembo pads and rotors). Andy has vendors that offer comparable quality brakes and rotors for half of the price the dealer was asking for.
He was spot on with the choice of parts. The stopping power is just as good as my originals, but is quieter and leaves nearly no brake dust on my rims. With labor and parts, my total came to $ 325. Andy was great at figuring out my needs and getting the parts required without breaking the bank.
The dealer was telling me that my car is supposed to take semi-​synthetic oil and that I shouldn’t change that. Andy said that my turbo-​charged engine would benefit from full synthetic oil. I wish I asked him about this earlier because my car has never been smoother. The engine feels smooth like butter and quieter with the full synthetic oil and I can get the oil changed at 7,000 miles rather than 3,000 miles.
I was about to change out the wiper blades myself, but Andy went ahead and changed them out for me at no charge. He’s an honest guy that’s easy to talk to. I took my car in on Saturday afternoon and had my car back in a few hours.
If you’re like me and dislike and distrust car dealerships, do your self a favor and go to Andy’s shop. I dread going to the dealership and am always wondering if they’re ripping me off. I’ve had items that I left in the trunk when going to the Stevens Creek Audi and had $ 150 headphones stolen the same day and the manager defending their mechanic saying I lost them somewhere else. I know I should take all valuables out of the trunk regardless, but it still offends me that the workers there can steal and get away with it because you sign an agreement.

Came across this shop and I am so happy to have I’ve been to 6 different shops and they all couldn’t help me 2 of them didn’t want to and the rest didn’t have time I walked into One stop auto and got greeted right away Andy helped me and told me they could check out my car right then and there I have a 2001 Mustang Gt and the brake lights have been out for a month now every where else said it was an electric problem and would cost me a lot of money and time trying to steal my money but Not Andy they Were so Honest and found the problem within the hour ! they Also helped me out by fixing my alarm and wind shield wipers they are awesome It’s really hard to find a spot that is honest, fast and efficient I am so thankful and shocked to finally find a spot like this From now on I will always take my car and tell friends and family to go to one stop auto Thank you so much for making my car work and day.

I had a coolant pipe leak on my BMW 550. I contacted Andy and he immediately scheduled an appointment for me to bring my car in for an inspection. He explained my car issue in detail including pricing, and after couple of days my car was fixed. Andy and his partner are very knowledgeable and they make you feel comfortable doing business with them. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to get a good service, honest opinion about their cars, and reasonable rate! Thanks Andy!

One of the best auto repair shop I have ever been too. Excellent service, friendly, knowledge and honest staff. I had bunch of work to be done on my 98 Honda accord.

Got a call from Andy that my car is ready to be picked up, summarizing the work, additional finding, recommendation and cost.
Speaking of cost probably one of the best price I have gotten in car service. His honesty was clearly shown on the hours it took fix things and not round up figure. Also he showed me all parts that he replace and explained why they are bad or needed to be replaced.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone. And definitely I would go back, even if its 30 mins to hour away from home.
Ironically this was truly a One Stop Auto repair for me.

I just happened to be across the street at Classic Mufflers when Andy (at the muffler shop) realized that my car had an issue that needed to be diagnosed by a mechanic, so he recommended going over to see Andy at One Stop. And I’m so glad he did. Andy diagnosed the issue five minutes later and set up for me to bring my car the next morning (it was already 4pm at the time). when I went back the next morning, he had a plan all set for my car that actually ended up costing me less. He was completely honest and professional about what needed to be done to my car — no making me spend extra money or talking me into doing services I didn’t really need. I will definitely be bringing my car back there for future needs and am so glad I stumbled across this shop. Highly recommend them — especially after before all of this I had major issues with bringing my car to the Inifiniti dealership.

My BMW was leaking coolant a few days ago, so I had it towed to One Stop Auto to get it fixed. The shop was actually closed when we got there, but the owner stayed after hours to make sure that I was taken care of. He called me the next morning and explained exactly what was wrong with it and how much it would cost to fix. It’s actually cheaper than a lot of the other shops around San Jose.
I was able to pick up my car the same day. When I showed up for pick up, the owner (I think his name was Andy) showed me the old parts that he took out of the car and pointed out the problems with each part in detail. He seems very nice and very knowledgeable as well.
Why I’ll take my car back to this shop:
1) Prices are lower than other shops
2) Excellent customer service — you can expect a detailed explanation of the diagnosis, updates on the progress, and a fast turnaround

Andy and Chau were able to work on my vehicle and get it done in one day, they were very helpful and walk me through the needed repairs and were able to give the costs up front.

I moved into the area and wanted to find someone local to work on my 2005 acura MDX. Some of the things I needed to get done
1) replace both headlight bulbs as one was burnt out
2) polish the headlights
3) change the actuator (Andy — owner gave me a great explanation on this part) on one of the door locks as it wasn’t functioning
4) change oil (which was about $ 25)
5) check up on overall function of the car as it hasn’t been tuned up for a while
So I found out through a contact that Andy’s shop opened up not too long ago. So I figured I would reach out to Andy to see how he can help me with my car issues. I emailed him and provided him with a few of my concerns and he emailed me back the same day which is pretty awesome considering a lot of the mechanics I’ve dealt with in the past don’t use emails or they don’t call back quickly. So this was a nice change to have a quick response!!! Once I explained my door situation, he gave me a fair quote and really set expectations on the procedure. He was very open and up front on what he can do so I appreciated that. After researching a few mechanics, I decided to go with Andy and One Stop Auto.
When I dropped off my car, I was immediately greeted by Andy, Thuy (his wife), and Thuy’s brother. I asked them a few general questions and they were quick to answer which definitely shows that they are knowledgeable. I found out they work on European, Japanese, and domestic cars which is generally pretty rare.
Within a few hours, I got a call that my car was ready and to my surprise, they gave me a discount because they have a grand opening! Awesome!
I’ll be coming here in the future since they are located 8 minutes from my house and most importantly provided me with honest and great service.

This shop is a professional and helpful with auto shop. Andy is skilled and reliable. I took my car in for service over the x-​mas week and it was done within 2 days. I definitely will be coming back in the future.
