Thompson Accounting has been doing our taxes for the last three years. They have helped us transition from W-​2 employees to sole proprietors with ease. They have a conservative approach that puts your mind at ease, knowing that you are doing things by the book, yet allows you to get the most benefit from any tax breaks available. They are available throughout the year to answer any questions that come up, and have been so helpful in getting us organized as our business grows.

Thompson Accounting was referred to me by one of their friends. Initially I thought they were good even though there were some mistakes. Unfortunately they seem to regard themselves as always being right without any regard to the whole story. Clerical errors were made and sadly, when questioned, they make you wrong. Communication is unclear, you have to ask first before information is clarified. I did not feel valued as a client.

Thompson Accounting was appointed to my case by the San Jose superior court system as their court expert.
Thankfully, this accounting firm is not required to do much, because what work they have done to date is sloppy. In the 2 times we have had to submit our paperwork to Thompson Accounting, they have neglected and ignored at least 3 of the court orders and findings in my case.
I do not recommend this firm.
