Krishna J.

Business Owner

With 20 years of experience in the Drug & Alcohol Recovery field, Krishna is founder and Executive Director of CASA Recovery, a 25-​bed facility in San Juan Capistrano, CA.

She is a graduate in Human Services: Drug and Alcohol Studies from Saddleback College, a Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor (CATC) and a longtime member of and educator/​provider for the California Association for Alcohol/​Drug Educators (CAADE). Krishna is also trained in Crisis Intervention, Recovery Coaching M.L.E., Relapse Prevention, Denial Management and Primordial Sound Meditation.

Her community outreach positions include liaison between Drug Court & Saddleback College, working with the Risk Reduction Education & Community Health (REACH) Program, an advisory board member of the TEACH Program at Saddleback College, advisor on Mental Health/​Dual Diagnosis & Substance Abuse at Orange Coast College, and a member of the Drug Treatment panel for the Substance Abuse & Crime Prevention Act of 2000 (Prop 36).
