New Method Wellness is a substance abuse treatment facility with detox, inpatient (30, 60, 90 days), outpatient, executive, and dual diagnosis treatment options.

Located in the beautiful town of San Juan Capistrano, we have the fortunate opportunity to provide a more holistic approach to substance abuse treatment including wilderness therapy, surf activities, equine therapy, and of course the tried-​and-​true therapy methods which are catered to our client’s individual needs.

At New Method Wellness, we offer upscale housing for each stage of the recovery process. All of our facilities are hand-​selected with care by our owners, and decorated with one strategy in mind: the positive development of our executive’s mind, body, and spirit.

We accept PPO insurance for full pay, and will gladly run a free insurance verification for you.

History

Established in 2008.

We are something different by design. Our program represents an exciting breakthrough in addiction treatment — ours is a whole new approach. We started with personal experience and the understanding and compassion born from that firsthand knowledge. Everyday New Method Wellness takes our clients from detox to early recovery to experiencing a fulfilling life in the real world. Our clients use the tools of recovery as they better learn to cope with life’s challenges with our team as the safety net. New Method Wellness is truly «something different — not your usual treatment center». Our passion for recovery, professional knowledge, and flexibility to meet our clients needs have always been the hallmark of our success in addiction recovery treatment.

Business Owner

Susie is an Owner/​Founder as well as the Director of Admissions at New Method Wellness. Susie’s experience managing and directing a behavioral health treatment facility began in 2006 and her level of professional expertise ranges from the proper implementation of policies and procedures to creating systems for an efficient and healthy center. Susie maintains a solid 12-​Step program as the foundation for treatment at New Method Wellness, informing all aspects of treatment, and serving as the core philosophy for the organization. She embraces the challenge of providing superior treatment services to the entire family system impacted by drug addiction, alcoholism, and mental illness. She is passionate about being an integral part of the intervention process, directing and guiding families to assist their loved one from active addiction to the safety of treatment.
