History

Established in 1995.

Ron was licensed in 1991 as a marriage and family therapist. He worked as an employee assistance program counselor at the Entertainment Industry Referral and Assistance Center in Studio City. Prior to completing his master’s degree in marriage and family therapy Ron studied theology and worked as a pastor, completing his M.Div. After their marriage in 1994 the Bacon’s moved to San Juan Capistrano where Ron set up his relationship consulting practice. Relationship Visions, Inc. was incorporated in 2000 and added Dr. Bacon after she completed both her training (Pacifica Graduate Institute) and licensing requirements as a clinical psychologist in 2004. Ron completed a final master’s degree in management in 2009 at Argosy Univ. The Bacons have presented numerous workshops and seminars on relationship dynamics, from pre-​marital preparation to divorce recovery. Dr. Bacon is a recent author of the book, The Grace Filled Divorce: Allowing God to Redeem Your Pain for the Greater Good.

Ron Bacon earned his master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from the California Family Study Center (now Phillips Graduate Institute) in 1988. He had previously earned a master of divinity degree in 1984 while attending seminary at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, MI. He completed work on a Master of Science degree in management in 2009 at Argosy University.

Ron has worked in a diverse range of clinical settings, including substance abuse treatment facilities, employee assistance program counseling in the entertainment industry, an inter-​agency diversion program for juveniles, high school guidance counseling, and as a hospital chaplain. He has also worked as an associate pastor and has taught graduate courses for Argosy University, Orange County and Trinity College of Graduate Studies.
