School of Rock is the leader in performance-​based music education. We teach guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals, and our students put on amazing shows at local venues. Our programs, camps and workshops for toddlers, kids, teens and adults make learning to play music fun and create great communities of musicians.

History

Established in 2016.

We are centrally located in Boca Raton and are excited to be part of the community! We are opening Feb/​March 2016! We are a performance based music education program starting at age 4 and offer programs for both children and adults of all ages from the beginner to the most advanced player! We are music done differently and we teach guitar, drum, vocal, piano/​keys, and bass lessons to complement our performance programs. Ask about our Summer Camp and Day off from School Programs. Business Owner

Our daughter Britt had the love of music at age 5 and started vocal and piano lessons. She was not into sports and we wanted her to do something she loved. Britt and Richard started their journey and Richard began playing the guitar with her. There was singing and playing in our home and Britt continued singing and drama lessons until she went off to college. Britt got bored with private piano lessons and stopped playing a few years later. Richard never put the guitar down and has a love of playing. He stopped and started with private lessons a few times and youtube videos and then, he came across the School of Rock and fell in the with the concept and wished it was around when Britt was little. He said, «we have to open this school»! This is music done differently and teaches children how to play in a group, aka band, be part of a team and have a great time doing something they love in a safe, cool environment! Our daughter stayed in the entertainment industry after college!
