This company has got to be the best on the planet with regards to product quality and customer service. We bought a patio table and chair set from them several years ago when we visited the home show in Santa Clara, CA. We had a small problem with the top and the owner sent out a completely new top within days. His drivers made a special trip to San Jose (where we live) from southern CA. just to bring us the new top. Over a year later, this top developed a few small cracks in the granite from what I can only surmise would be «settling» as my patio is not 100% level. I called the company and within a week someone came and spent at least half a day chipping out the bad tiles and replacing them on site. He basically rebuilt part of the table top. It’s been many years now and not one problem since. We’ve been so happy with the experience, we recently bought another table set from them after seeing the display at the «October Fest» street fair in Campbell, CA. Great products and even greater people.

We purchased 2 tables, chairs and bar stools from surrounding elements. We had original asked for a November delivery date and then asked for the order to be bumped up to July. Surrounding Elements said no problem and we received the delivery in July. They were very easy to work with on delivery. The quality and workmanship of their tables is outstanding. The color and the brand of chairs and bar stools that Surrounding Elements recommended to us was perfect for our tables and they offered a very fair price. This company is not the lowest priced company in their industry but the quality of their products is worth the additional cost and their service is icing on the cake.

If I could give 10 stars I would. We love, love, LOVE the piece of art that is our new firepit table! We had our table delivered yesterday.
First, the ordering experience: Patty and Moss were great; we had a short window for delivery and they were nothing but accomodating. Oh, I know that some businesses will take your order and make promises about being able to make your delivery on time and then make excuse when that date comes and goes without delivery, but Moss, Patty, and the entire crew worked to exceed our expectations by delivering almost a week early. From start to finish it took only a week and a few days. And we live in Vegas, a 4 – 5 hour drive for them.
The construction phase: We had them put a different center piece in place; a big sun. Patty and Moss, with their expertise guided us for the tiles to use. It is fantastic!
This table is intricate, unique and absolutely a beautiful piece of art with each piece of stone and tile used, hand crafted/​cut to create a wonderful, beautiful artwork. Patty and Moss, you need to call your products what they are; ART.
Delivery: so, it took from start to finish and delivery, even with a couple of slight changes/​adjustments, about a week. For such a labor intensive piece I would have expected longer but they delivered! Anthony was wonderful and set up the table and went through the instructions patiently. And it was 105 degrees outside.
We are beyond pleased.

Oh my gosh!!! I have shopped all over! This guy’s the best! Moss the owner not only sells it but he delivers! Moss drove over 45 miles for our quote. His website and pictures speak for him very well. However, his expertise in creating the ultimate island and fireplace was amazing! I felt as though I was treated by The Nordstrom of outdoor living areas. Moss first carefully listened to my wants and needs. He was patient as I showed him all my pictures from houzz and Pinterest. He then came up with a drawing compiling all my pictures, thoughts, wants and needs. He spent over 3 hours with my husband and me. Needless to say he got the job! He’s got ideas even better than the ones I had researched. Moss made my dream a reality! I’m getting the most state of the art barbecue and fireplace ever!!! Moss and Surrounding elements is the only company to consider for your outdoor living needs!

this has been a great experience from start to end… saw the fountain at the Fountain Hills Art Fair in Arizona… ordered from Moss, and it was delivered and installed yesterday… the two young men who delivered were great, they stayed until it was perfect, and even sealed it for us… it is not only a piece of art, it is extremely well made… couldn’t recommend more highly!

We had wanted a fire pit on our deck, but didn’t have room for that as well as a large dining table. Surrounding Elements had just the answer for us. We saw them at a street fair in Los Altos and were immediately impressed. Their features are unique, the quality first rate, and the table designs are truly works of art. There is a fire pit right in the center of the table. When not in use, an aluminum bowl fits over the pit and acts as an ice bucket for drinks. A lazy-​susan then rests above making full use of the space. They even have access for an umbrella if you chose to add one. You just won’t see anything like this elsewhere. They have several standard designs, but will also do custom work. We saw a mountain themed design on their website and had Moss build a table similar to that for our cabin. It totally captures the surrounding environment.
The quality of the service also matches that of the product. Moss is very accessible should you have any questions. Also, the delivery crew of John and Aaron was on time, polite, educated about the product, and helpful.

I have been buying my outdoor furniture from Moss at Surrounding Elements for the past 10 years. His fire pit tables aren’t just furniture– they are pieces of art. If you are looking for low cost, run-​of-​the-​mill stuff your best bet is probably Costco. But if want something that will wow your friends and last a lifetime, you definitely need to check out Surrounding Elements.

This is a first rate operation with beautiful outdoor furniture and impeccable customer service. My husband and I bought a patio set and a custom palapa for our yard eight years ago. Whenever we need help with something that may need repair or adjustment someone is sent out, free of charge. They are the gold standard of what quantity and performance should look like.
